Subscriptions

by Ken Pullen

Idea on Wednesday night, July 5th*, composed on Thursday day, July 6th

So much time through the years said to be seeking

paying for all the subscriptions gathered along the way

no trouble believing in every theory, every delusion, fantasy and fairies coming along

composing the song

of most lives reeking

deeper into darkness every day

believing in evolution

as if that’s a solution

when it’s just more mind, spirit, soul pollution

which is railed against in the save the earth

delusion

of which there is no dearth

of enlisted subscribers

while singing that God is in the forests, in the park rangers, in the waves of the ocean, in the smile of that pretty girl

saying there is belief yet all that pours forth is blasphemy and the adopted lies

what has been subscribed

inscribed in those invisible places

made known by the open window of the tongue

the written word

the song sung

passing for illumination, enlightenment, the curious human mind

God is not an energy force, within a tree in the forest, in the wind, a forest ranger, the waves of the ocean as is sung and praised, adopted, accommodated approved

God is a Being real, if one is truly seeking one can find

when not misled about, allowing more doubt than faith

intellect a wrench in the works

need to use a part within rarely known

truth be told

in order to come to know the Truth

the Way

to Life

God is the Creator, not the creation

as is subscribed within every lost nation, every lost soul

seeking in all the wrong places

like looking for lost keys up a redwood tree when not living near the forest

not seeing what is clear to see right before those seeking eyes, the seeking heart

go to, open, believing, within the Word of God

for a start

to finally clear, brighten, open that cold dark heart

foolishly deluded it has been alive and living in all the searching, all the wondering, all the fear and doubt

Faith in God, belief in the Lord, knowing the Holy Spirit, walking in the way of the Lord each day is what this life ought to be about

is really about

unless in all the subscribing to the wrong periodicals, theories, philosophies one continues to rebel loving the myth, all lies not said in jest

for them await

a certain date

when all the subscriptions run out

Second Death

Eternal death

of this, I have no doubt

What are you subscribing to today, tonight, tomorrow?
