Woe to the Unrepentant

(also see: Luke 10:13-16)

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: “Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.”

Rest for the Weary

(also see: Luke 10:21-24)

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:20 – 30 — King James Bible

I’ve heard many a sermon where the preacher at the pulpit gets animated and showy and may begin raising an arm and shaking a finger, or pointing a finger as he exclaimed how utterly dreadful it was for Sodom and Gomorrah, and how in their judgment yet to come it was going to be eternally painful and severe.

Sodom and Gomorrah were two of the most sinful cites the earth has ever witnessed.

I ask in wonder how terrible will the judgment be for the United States of America? And for Israel as both nations turn from God and are lulled and lured by the growing evil put before their people to lap up like parched animals willing to drink tainted water after wandering aimlessly in a barren desert?

America and the vast majority of its people follow and serve Satan. Even the so-called professed “Christians” in America prefer the tainted milk of their false teachers and unsound doctrine over the pure healthy meat of the inerrant word of God.

Israel prospers and is protected but from her sin and turning from God and His instruction and turning to the world and to themselves Israel is going to face a terrible judgment from God and many will fall and suffer — needlessly if instead they would just turn to the Lord their God and obey Him.

But we know this is not the case, nor will it be, and with each passing day the evil and iniquity and abomination in this world will only grow and righteousness will recede and appear to almost disappear.

We know this if we place our complete trust in God and believe the complete truth of the word of God.

Woe unto thee America, and Israel! For turning from the ways of the Lord and turning to the ways of this world and he who reigns here for a season will not bring peace, safety, or prosperity — but will bring a greater wrath and judgment than that handed down to Sodom and Gomorrah — for America and Israel have been richly blessed by the Lord, and their foundations were established in the word of God and many great works were done in America and Israel, but now these two most blessed of God nations turn from God and mock and blaspheme the inerrant word of God and prefer the temporary and deadly allure of this world over the truth of the Lord!

Woe unto thee America and Israel, for the judgment of the Lord is coming to thee for turning from Him and embracing all the sin and growing evil of this temporary sinful world!

Mighty works and wonders by the Lord have been done in both America and Israel and yet the majority of their people choose to serve the old dragon, the devil and ignore and deny the works and blessings of the Lord — for this the judgment coming will be severe. God will not be mocked. Our daily actions and choices and who we serve and obey have serious and dire consequences. We profess with our lips to be “good people” and “special in this world” and we profess to “believe” yet we do nothing but deny and lie and follow false teachers and false teachings with our itching ears turning to fables rather than the truth.

We think we know better and refuse to bend the knee and bow down to the Lord our God.

Well, indignant, so-called sophisticated modern enlightened people worldwide will one day soon know the truth — and reap what they have sown — and every eye shall see, and every knee shall bow.

America, Israel, the majority of professed believers, this world walk in darkness because they deny the Spirit of God. Because they deny the power and very existence of the Holy Spirit and they do not see.

That time is coming to an end — but to reach that day things are going to get much, much worse and those who do truly believe, those who truly see, those who walk in the Light and have the Spirit of god indwelling them and know — had better prepare and grow in faith, grow in strength, for the days from this day forth are going to become more trials and tribulation and suffering. From this day forth it is woe to thee America, woe to thee Israel, woe to thee the people of this world for your refusal to walk in the Light and deny God and your instance in walking in darkness serving Satan and his multitude of minions and false doctrines!

“Now this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the light. Why? Because their actions were wicked. For everyone who does evil things hates the light and avoids it, so that his actions won’t be exposed. But everyone who does what is true comes to the light, so that all may see that his actions are accomplished through God.”

John 3:19-21 — Complete Jewish Bible

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:19 — King James Version

This is the judgment: The Light has come into the world and the children of men loved the darkness more than The Light, because their works were evil.

John 3:19 — Aramaic Bible in Plain English

This is why people are condemned: The light came into the world. Yet, people loved the dark rather than the light because their actions were evil.

John 3:19 — God’s Word Translation

“I have told you these things so that you won’t be caught by surprise. They will ban you from the synagogue; in fact, the time will come when anyone who kills you will think he is serving God!  They will do these things because they have understood neither the Father nor me. But I have told you this, so that when the time comes for it to happen, you will remember that I told you. I didn’t tell you this at first, because I was with you. But now I am going to the One who sent me.

“Not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’ Instead, because I have said these things to you, you are overcome with grief. But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the comforting Counselor will not come to you. However, if I do go, I will send him to you.

“When he comes, he will show that the world is wrong about sin, about righteousness and about judgment — about sin, in that people don’t put their trust in me; about righteousness, in that I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me; bout judgment, in that the ruler of this world has been judged.

John 16:1-11 — Complete Jewish Bible

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:8 — King James Version

“And when he comes, he will correct the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment;”

John 16:8 — Aramaic Bible in Plain English

…For all of us will stand before God’s judgment seat; since it is written in the Tanakh,

“As I live, says Adonai, every knee will bend before me,
and every tongue will publicly acknowledge God.”

So then, every one of us will have to give an account of himself to God.

Romans 14:10-12 — Complete Jewish Bible

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Romans 14:11 — King James Version

According to what is written: “As I live, says THE LORD JEHOVAH, every knee shall bow to me and to me every tongue shall swear.”

Romans 14:11 — Aramaic Bible in Plain English

…And when he appeared as a human being,
he humbled himself still more
by becoming obedient even to death —
death on a stake as a criminal!
Therefore God raised him to the highest place
and gave him the name above every name;

that  in honor of the name given Yeshua,
every knee will bow
in heaven, on earth and under the earth —
and every tongue will acknowledge
that Yeshua the Messiah is Adonai
to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:7-11 — Complete Jewish Bible

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Philippians 2:10 — King James Version

That in The Name of Yeshua, every knee shall bow, which is in Heaven and in The Earth and which is under The Earth,

Philippians 2:10 — Aramaic Bible in Plain English

Look! He is coming with the clouds![a]
Every eye will see him,
including those who pierced him;
and all the tribes of the Land will mourn him.[b]

  1. Revelation 1:7 Daniel 7:13
  2. Revelation 1:7 Zechariah 12:10–14

Revelation 1:7 — Complete Jewish Bible

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 1:7 — King James Version

Behold, he comes with clouds and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him, and all the families of The Earth shall mourn for him; yes and amen!

Revelation 1:7 — Aramaic Bible in Plain English

Look! He is coming in the clouds. Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. Every tribe on earth will mourn because of him. This is true. Amen.

Revelation 1:7 — God’s Word Translation
