The cold lifeless stone image of Karl Marx a man who was lifeless, godless, and made of a stone-cold, dead heart and mind even when he was animated for a time in the flesh. I imagine some folks who find themselves on this website have come to a misunderstanding if reading something where I comment about Christian Nationalism, or we are but pilgrims here, aliens for a while and our home is in heaven with God and Jesus Christ the Lord if we are transformed people by our faith. It is easy to reach an opinion that is far from what resides in my heart or mind or life.

Some may reach errant opinions in reading certain things I have written imagining I’m not keen on America or being an American. I was born in America for a reason. By God’s will. As every person is born when and where they are by God’s will and amazing gift of life. I am thankful every day to God my Father and Creator for blessing me with another day of life, in America. Because I know well that I could be waking up in Somalia, Indonesia, China, Russia, North Korea, or Syria. And so on. Instead, Almighty All-Knowing God placed me where He did when He did. For reasons.

I write in great part what I do because I am a man who will be 70 years old in a matter of a couple of months and I have witnessed with keen observation and registering many events, our history unfolding, the changes occurring in this relatively short period in history.

And the America I see and hear and observe today resembles in no way the America of only 50, or 60 years ago. No way. Massively different places.

And the changes have not been for the better. On the contrary, the changes have clearly revealed we are on our downward spiral and our demise. Due to the philosophies, doctrines, lies, and propaganda far too many have permitted to be what they ingest and then use as their nourishment in their dark, lost lives.

I love America and mourn for this nation.

I love God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the inerrant infallible living, and active Word of God more.

I also know that evil men and women can never create a brave new world, the so-called Utopia or Paradise they vainly imagine, and no election or politician — not one ever — has placed America on unshakable ground and made things right. Or lasting.

To imagine such is foolishness.

And at the heart of Christian Nationalism and the movements and errant doctrines and philosophies spoken or written in our time it isn’t God and Jesus or the Holy Spirit at the heart of these varied movements. It is human politics. Human government. Human institutions. Yes, by the dispensation of God [see Genesis 8:20-11:32] we have human governments —  but each is full of corrupt and sinful men and women. While that may be difficult to accept and the delusion creeps in that we are the power, we by our will if in enough numbers can bring about a person, a system of government that meets the criteria we desire we do so vainly, foolishly — even the man or woman you place your faith in to bring about the change you seek is incapable of doing so. Don’t believe this? Take a look at the timeline of Amerian history and election outcomes and the results. The real results over time.

No election has ever propelled this nation forward to even come close to the imagined ideals and principles we imagine we hold and are made up of.

No election ever can or will bring about the sort of nation and people vainly imagined and hoped for. I know because for decades I vainly, foolishly imagined that we the people, some people, some man or woman could bring this nation to the place it ought to be. Always disappointed. Always let down. It’s what people do if we’re truly honest and objective. They disappoint and let down. Let’s not continue in our delusions, illusions, and vanity.

Only the election of God, of Christ, of the Supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to work in an individual heart, mind, and life can bring about the change necessary.

And when that occurs we ought not to then be unwise in realizing what, where, and Who is responsible for real change and then direct our attention to the temporal, the fleshly, the things of this world as the answer to what ails us casting He Who made the greatest change possible aside and placing mere men, women, human government or institutions, a nation that comes and will pass away uppermost.

Do not misunderstand.

Do not be deceived.

For the devil is a cunning deceiver and has led billions to their eternal deaths and destruction being the father of lies and their serving him while imagining otherwise. Satan appears as an angel of light [see 2 Corinthians 11:14-15] as do his ministers. Frequently, before a person realizes this they have often spent considerable time, even years in his and their snare as he and they distract from what is most important.

God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit.

For all other things shall pass away and be forever forgotten.

So, why place such emphasis on those things that pass away and place less emphasis on those eternal things?

It isn’t the left that hates God, family, and country. It’s evil that does. And evil is not exclusive to the left, to the democratic party of those registered as democrats. Can we finally acquire some sense, speak and write with some accuracy and truth? Finally. Do you truly believe all people professing to be conservative, what is viewed as on the right, registered Republicans love God, love their families and are good family people, and love their country? You really are of the mind, the simple and errant mind it’s that cut and dry, black and white? And, of course, those on the left wear the black hates and those on the right the white, and all these shootouts at high noon on the main little street in the small Western town are cleaning things up?

Where has wisdom gone?

Where has discernment gone?

Where have the sound minds and the grasp of reality gone? Especially among those professing to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, true children of God.

Why The Left Hates God, Family and Country

Authoritarians know very well what threatens their road to power.

Rob Schneider is a funny guy. A lot of his humor is irreverent and better suited to the Beavis and Butt-head demographic but his physical comedy and sense of timing are hilarious. His Saturday Night Live skits as the Richmeister / makin’ copies office nerd still crack me up 30 years later.

But there’s more depth to Schneider than his off-color gags and pratfalls suggest. During a recent interview on Fox News in which he explained why he is moving his family to Arizona from California, Schneider touched on the biggest threat facing America today.

During his interview, Schneider observed, “You know something’s wrong when people say, ‘If you put God, and family, and country first, that’s somehow controversial,” then asking rhetorically, “How is that controversial?”

Putting God, family and country first is not controversial at all. It does, however, represent an existential threat to authoritarians across the globe. Whether it’s today’s American totalitarians or the Chinese Communist Party, God, family and country stand in the way of subjugating free people.

These three principles have been under attack for centuries, and the reason is simple. If people believe in God, family and country, they are less apt to embrace tyrannical politicians and their political systems. For this reason, these three institutions must be destroyed.

Let’s start with God. There has always been atheism but the idea of basing a political system on it began to take form during the 18th century. It was Swiss philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau who theorized that man is fundamentally good and corrupted by society, and that citizenship doesn’t require compassion for other people.

Rousseau’s repudiation of the the Bible’s views on the nature of man – that we’re infinitely sinful, hopelessly corrupt and depraved by virtue of original sin – ushered in the false notion that man and society are perfectible. All we need to do is replace the word of God and biblical  law with Man’s law.

Many of Rousseau’s theories were incorporated into the French Revolution of 1789. The promise of liberté, égalité, fraternité was quickly betrayed and devolved into the Reign of Terror, resulting in tens of thousands of decapitations and other murders.

Along the way, the cathedral of Notre Dame was rebranded as a Temple of Reason, other churches were sacked or destroyed entirely, clergymen were killed and exiled, and the Georgian calendar was rejected. The storming of the Bastille did not occur in ‘The Year of Our Lord 1789’ but the Year 1 of what was called the Era of Liberty. In truth, it was an era of vicious paganism.

The French Revolution did not bring liberty, equality or fraternity to France. Instead, it established the template for instituting Marxist-Leninism in Russia in 1917. Clearly, God has no place in a society ruled by tyrants.

There’s no place for family either. Karl Marx declared marriage a farce and argued for the abolition of the nuclear family. In his 1848 Manifesto of the Communist PartyMarx opined, “The bourgeois clap-trap about the family and education, about the hallowed co-relation of parents and child, becomes all the more disgusting, the more, by the action of Modern Industry, all the family ties among the proletarians are torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour.”

Frederick Engles, Marx’s parter in political theory, backed-up Marx in his 1884 opus Origins of the Family, Private Property and the State, writing, “The modern individual family is founded on the open or concealed domestic slavery of the wife, and modern society is a mass composed of these individual families as its molecules.”

Then there’s country. Not content with blowing up the institutions of marriage and family, Marx did his best wreck the idea of sovereign nations. “The Communists are further reproached with desiring to abolish countries and nationality,” wrote Marx. That’s clear as crystal.

Rob Schneider wasn’t wrong to ask why putting God, family and country first is controversial, even though it isn’t. But to put those things first is to repudiate the three pillars of Communism and similarly tyrannical forms of government. That means putting a big fat target on yourself.

Authoritarians know very well that if one person puts God, family and country first, they won’t put the government first. They also know that if one person says it, others are likely agree. That is repugnant to those who believe in the writings of Marx, Engles, Rousseau and others like them.

In response, belief in God must be reduced to something between ignorant bumpkinism and dangerous radicalism. The family and marriage are diminished to systems of oppression and whoredom. National identity is decried as the, “handmaiden of the bourgeoisie.”

The American Left is obsessed with demonizing ordinary beliefs, questions and observations. The good news is, they can only succeed if we let them.
