“Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel,
And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them;
They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine,
And make gardens and eat their fruit.
I will also plant them on their land,
And they will not again be rooted out from their land
Which I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God.
Amos 9:14-15
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
Matthew 24:32
May 14th, 1948
The branch put forth leaves revealing its life…again…
But it never really disappeared. The fig tree never truly died. Not to God. While it may have appeared to the people of the world for almost 2,000 years that Israel vanished and would be nevermore, Israel was merely overtaken by evil to only appear to vanish in 137 A.D.;
During a final Jewish uprising against the Romans (the Bar Kochva Revolt), Jerusalem was once again, for a short, three-year period, under Jewish control. After the Romans’ inevitable, crushing victory many hundreds of thousands of Jews were either deported, sold as slaves, or killed. The Roman Emperor Hadrian leveled Jerusalem to the ground and barred Jews from entering the city.
In an attempt at definitively eliminating the Jewish connection to the land, the Romans renamed Judea to “Palaestina”, a word believed to be derived from the “Philistines”, a people from Crete, which a thousand years earlier roamed the Mediterranean coast of Judea. Jews still lived in the area, though, and less than 100 years later they were once again allowed access to Jerusalem.
It may be difficult to believe for the unbeliever, and even many professed believers, but Israel never left being the apple of God’s eye, never vanished from His plan for His land, His city Jerusalem, His people, and for the people of the world to witness His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ returning to Israel to take His rightful place on the throne as King of kings, Lord of lords.
Israel is the first and only nation to have been conquered, its people scattered to the four corners of the world, to have its name and its history attempted to be obliterated by the evil in the world only to be resurrected again.
No other nation on earth.
Think America is something? And it is…
Israel has existed for millennia. Endured more, much more than America ever has or will.
Israel is the CENTER OF THE WORLD. Jerusalem is ITS HEART.
Oh, terrible trying times, horrible times lie ahead in Israel’s future. That is a fact. If unaware, or unfamiliar you can read that in God’s Word, and those times are coming. When the Church has been Raptured and removed it is then Israel’s time. It will also happen to be the time of the Antichrist and his false prophet and the Great Tribulation. And the time of the Third Temple.
But Israel isn’t going anywhere. No matter what any man, woman, group, nation, lost denomination, news media, professed historian, pastor, or self-proclaimed prophet may write or say.
If professing faith in Jesus Christ as a disciple, as a follower of Him, and not aware, not believing, or not sure, it is likely that you’ve neglected the Word of God and been listening more to men and women than from the very words of God. Time to listen, hear, know, and believe what God says.
If an unbeliever, a disciple of this lost world placing your faith in self, in human wisdom and knowledge, in modern ideologies founded in lies, in evil, it would behoove you to walk away from the words and noise of the world and seek the quiet deep instruction of God’s holy Word.
I was thinking of someone I know off and on this evening. How they refuse to believe the Word of God, how they read many other books, consider themselves “worldly, knowing” and treat the Holy Bible, as so many do, like a book of myths and fairy tales while they believe the lies and delusions of man.
Isn’t it interesting that many stories, many books, and many ideas have come and gone over the millennia, nations, dictators, kings, and governments have attempted through the ages to remove God’s Word?
How is it then that through the ages God’s Word has prevailed? Never been destroyed though many men, many groups, many tribes, peoples, and nations have tried.
How could a book of mere myths and lies lasted so long and grow to be the world’s best-selling book since it became available to the public?
If it is hokum, myth, lies, or fantasy how is it, why is it that many great, wise, educated, and knowledgeable people have read it, quoted it, believed it, and exercised it in their lives?
It’s easy to dismiss something.
But every person’s spirit is eternal.
Just as God’s Word is.
Best be very careful in what is dismissed and cast aside and what is allowed in to shape, fashion, and form a life. Because each one is either shaped, fashioned, and formed to follow and serve this fallen sin-filled world that is hurtling towards destruction and final judgment — or a person is shaped, fashioned, and formed, renewed of mind, born anew by the Holy Spirit of God to finally see, to finally hear, to finally know, to finally live.
It’s just that way.
Deny if you will or must but that does not alter reality or the truth.
Just as nations, faiths, governments, world leaders, pastors, denominations, people can deny Israel and what Israel is and means and that does not alter reality or the truth.
God is protecting Israel. His land. His city. His people. Which the world, and tragically most Jews refuse to understand or believe. Scales over the eyes. Unable to see. So it is. According to the Word of God and the reality before us.
Perhaps, by God’s mercy and grace, by His love, you will live long enough to come to see and know these two most important truths if you do not yet know.
That is my hope and prayer though I don’t even know you.

When Your Enemy Desires To ‘Wipe You From The Map’ It’s Difficult To Take ‘Proposals For Peace’ Seriously
November 7, 2024
By Dean Dwyer
Reprinted from Harbinger’s Daily
With the U.S. election now behind us, attention turns to what this means for the world during the next four years, particularly in relation to the volatile Middle East. As we are aware, Middle East peace has dominated the foreign policy platform of U.S. administrations for a number of decades now and we can expect that as soon as Donald Trump is inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States of America, he will waste no time in attempting to bring this longstanding illusion to reality. In April of this year, when speaking about the war in Gaza, he simply said, “They have to get it done—get it over with, and get it over with fast because we have to get back to normalcy and peace.” Easier said than done, particularly when you have a genocidal death cult on your southern, northern and eastern doorsteps.
Of interest to me is the election of Donald Trump at the same time as the Saudis are pushing an Arab peace initiative once again. I do not see that as a coincidence. So, let’s examine what has been quietly unfolding behind the backdrop of the U.S. elections.
In March 2002, representatives from the United States of America, various members of the Arab League and the Palestinian Authority (led by the now deceased Yasser Arafat) gathered for the Arab League Summit in Beirut, Lebanon. At the summit, the Arab Peace Initiative was endorsed by those Arab states present. Under the Arab Peace Initiative (API), Israel was offered peace and normalisation with Arab states on three conditions:-
- Israel’s withdrawal from all territories occupied on June 5, 1967;
- the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state (with East Jerusalem as its capital); and
- Israel finding a just and agreed-upon solution for Palestinian refugees.
Israel rejected the API due to legitimate concerns that a return to pre-1967 borders would make Israel’s remaining territory largely indefensible. In fact, Israeli politician, Avigdor Lieberman, once called the API nothing less than a “recipe for Israel’s destruction.” Even in 2016, fourteen years after the proposal, Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his opposition to the API. He told Likud ministers at the time that, “If the Arab nations grasp the fact that they need to revise the Arab League proposal according to the changes Israel demands, then we can talk. But if they bring the proposal from 2002 and define it as ‘take it or leave it’ – we’ll choose to leave it.”
With successive peace efforts failing to garner any concrete support, the API was eventually overshadowed by Middle East normalisation agreements signed by some Arab states under the framework of the Abraham Accords in 2020 and 2021. Although many Westerners saw these as positive steps, some Arab nations remained upset that it did not address their core issue of concern – “Palestinian rights.” For this reason, it was interesting to note the contents of an article published on the website of The Cairo Review of Global Affairs which said: “Look to the API, not the Abraham Accords, for regional peace.”
The reason that Arab states prefer the API framework is that it operates on a “land for peace” basis whereas the Israelis prefer the Abraham Accords which operates on a “peace for peace” basis. Further, the Abraham Accords are not about a Palestinian state, but a circumnavigation of it. However, Arab states insist that the Palestinian issue remain central to any peace plan going forward.
At present, it seems that the Saudis are intent on shaking the dust off the API and re-introducing it as a means to advancing peace in the region, particularly in a post-Hamas and post-Hezbollah world. No surprise then that there are an increasing number of voices calling for an Arab Peace Initiative 2.0. However, this time it is being called by the rather lengthy name, The Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, with the inaugural meeting held on 30 and 31 October 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
As reported by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship, underscored the importance of engaging participating countries in fostering a multilateral political path to achieve peace based on the two-state solution and an end to the Israeli occupation. Grounded in the principles of international law, U.N. resolutions, the peace process frameworks, and the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative under the ‘land-for-peace’ principle, this seeks to end the suffering of the Palestinian people that has spanned for eight decades, enabling them to live in freedom and dignity in their independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
As part of the considerations at the meeting were security guarantees, which were reported by Arab News on 6 November 2024 as follows: “The third track should deal with the political and security requisites of the Palestinian state. There are successful examples, such as Kosovo and Namibia, where the international community, including the U.N. and NATO, were able to provide the security support needed in such situations. These requirements include the protection of civilians in Gaza and the West Bank and the security arrangements needed to replace Israeli forces in the Occupied Territories. This track should also include Gaza-West Bank reunification arrangements.”
Naturally, the meeting was dominated by accusations that the Israeli government is opposed to all peace plans. However, when your enemy makes daily declarations of their desire to “wipe you from the map” it is somewhat difficult to take the overtures of peace seriously. Whether the Arab states like it or not, while ever their religious texts inspire hatred of Jews, Israelis will be rightfully cautious about allowing the wolf to lie beside the lamb.
God has a peace plan, and a favourable one at that. However, His plan will be implemented by the King of kings and Lord of lords Who will rule and reign from Jerusalem after His second coming. What a day of rejoicing that will be! But between now and then a very painful period will come upon the earth as God pours out His wrath during the Tribulation Period. But first will come the rapture of the church and we wait with increasing excitement as that day draws near!
Whether or not the latest Saudi proposal will be a steppingstone to the framework developed by the Antichrist remains to be seen. However, what it does is reinforce the fact that the world is desperate for peace. Little do many know that they are about to enter into a covenant with the prince of darkness, all while rejecting the Prince of Peace.
