THE GREAT FALLING AWAY

First, know that I did not create the heading for the article featured below. I did change the numbing, nullifying, and meaningless acronym, and the perverted word now used by almost every professed Christian writer, pastor, preacher, and speaker uses to mention the sin and sexual perversions of lesbianism, homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism.

Both sources this article appeared in used the acronym and the perverted meaning of a once perfectly good English language word.

Secondly, no person — no person can be called a Christian and also accept and embracing of the sexual immoralities mentioned, or approve of the premeditated murder of children. Would we call Baal a Christian? Moloch? Any practicing homosexual or sexually immoral person? Anyone supporting the premeditated murder of children? Then why do we call people who once professed to be Christians that have fallen away and now espouse every evil under the sun as mouthpieces and slaves to Satan as “Christian!?”

What is wrong with professed Christian writers, pastors, speakers, and any and all who profess to be Christian that take up the position of calling such individuals “Christians?”

What are people paying attention to?

What do they really know from the Word of God?

The words “evangelical” and “Christian” have become among the most misused and corrupted words on earth in the past number of years. Let’s be clear. Let’s get things right. According to the Word of God!

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.

Romans 16:17 — English Standard Version

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 5:1-5 — English Standard Version

1 Corinthians 5 Christian Standard Bible

I believe were the apostle Paul with us in the churches today he would exhort and write we are to put out from our midst those who follow the world and sexual immorality and murder. To judge them and put them out and leave them in God’s hands. But not to consider them a brother or a sister, thus a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ by the fruits they bear. By how they defile themselves with what comes out of their mouths.

Why all the relaxing? Loosening everything up in the churches and refusing to know and abide by what is in the inerrant and living Word of God!

Afraid of reduced revenues? Litigation? A letter or email received that is unsettling? Come on folks let’s spiritually wise up and know what is in the Word of God, what a true Christian is and does, and know the times in which we live and stop being in Lalaland!

As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

Titus 3:10-11 — English Standard Version

Repentance is possible…

My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

James 5:19-20 — English Standard Version

But the one who wanders from the truth must humble themselves, be of a contrite heart, acknowledge their sin, confess and then actually repent. And if not knowing the meaning of true repentance now would be the time for some study in that area.

But also know this, believe this, do not forget this…

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Thessalonians 2:3 — King James Version

We are witnessing the Great Falling Away. More and more each day. Do not be decided. Do not be unaware. No one will have any excuse before the Lord.

A Christian is a person that has acknowledged their sin. Confessed their sin. Truly repented. Humbled and submitted themselves knowing they are lost and doomed to an eternity in hell and in need of a Saviour and there is Only One to save, Only One Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God! And that individual upon submission, repentance, confession, if true will be truly transformed. Born anew! Regenerated and indwelt of the Holy Spirit of God! A child of God and no longer a child of disobedience. A disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. No longer is that person darkness and in darkness, but they become light they are light!

And by their fruits, they are known.

Anyone else belongs to darkness, to serving this corrupted fallen world, to serving Satan, not God. Serving self and the prince of the air.

Beware!

Do not allow yourselves to be caught up, confused, foolishly believing we can appease this world, soften things up, change things up in the Bible, make nice and ignore God and all will be well and we can still proclaim Christ!

Wake up from such an evil slumber!

Stop reading this and put down everything now and immerse yourself in the Word of God and fervent prayer if you think you can please the world, be part of the world, and also please the Lord and be a true believer. If believing the lies of this world and thus Satan, the father of lies how can one then also profess to be a true believer? A believer of and in all of God’s truth, all of God’s Word?

Call things and people as they truly are. Not according to how they may claim they are. By their fruits, they will be known. Test every spirit. Judge all things according to the Word of God. Stop worrying about pleasing people, standing out, or being mocked for believing the truth, do not hide from the light that is supposed to be within you, dear Christian! Do not comply with or appease any evil in this eroding fleeting world.

Recognize the wolves in sheep’s clothing and do not fear calling them what they are.

Know the times. Pay attention to the signs.

A CROOKED PATH

Should We Be Surprised That Pro-Homosexual Christians Now Support Abortion On Demand?

Jen Hatmaker’s Journey from Evangelical to Pro-Homosexual to Pro-Abortion

May 11, 2022

Reprinted from ASKDRBrown and Prophecy News Watch

I first became familiar with Jen Hatmaker in 2016 when she and her husband announced that they had shifted their views on lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and queer issues. It was then that I learned how popular she was as an evangelical Christian author. This made her departure from the Word of God on this crucial subject all the more tragic.

Because I heard that she and her husband Brandon had read my book Can You Be Gay and Christian? while studying the relevant issues, I wrote an open letter to them, dismantling some of their arguments and appealing to them to reconsider. That was in November 2016.

I also gave them this warning, in love, writing: “it won’t surprise me in the days to come if: 1) in times of conflict between the church and the lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender community, you consistently take the side of lesbians, homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgenders, even siding against your brothers and sisters in the Lord; 2) you embrace more and more aspects of homosexual activism, including transgender activism; 3) you begin to broaden your circles of fellowship, embracing more liberal ‘Christians’ who deny key aspects of the historic faith; and 4) if I’m right about the first three, after a number of years – perhaps even a decade or more – in the name of ‘grace,’ you will begin to inch towards a form of universalism. At the very least, in the name of ‘grace,’ your congregational standards of holiness will soon be compromised.”

Not surprisingly, in August 2017, Jen Hatmaker expressed her strong displeasure with the Nashville Statement on biblical sexuality, claiming that this affirmation of biblical values produced “shame, self-harm, suicide, & broken hearts, families, & churches.”

Yes, she said, “The fruit of the ‘Nashville Statement’ is suffering, rejection, shame, and despair.” And this from a respected author and mother of 5 who still professed to be a committed Christian.

For the record, the Nashville Statement affirmed that marriage was the union of one man and one woman and stated that, “Our true identity, as male and female persons, is given by God. It is not only foolish, but hopeless, to try to make ourselves what God did not create us to be.”

Yet these values were now considered destructive by Hatmaker. What on earth was going on? (Now would be a good time to go back and read the warning I had issued just 9 months earlier, quoted above.)

In response, I wrote another article, ending with these words, “The very sad fall of Jen Hatmaker, for whom we pray, is a striking illustration of the power of spiritual deception. Once you embrace the first lie, it’s much easier to embrace the other lies, which get bigger and uglier by the day.

“May God awaken those deceived by lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender theology, and may He strengthen those who are taking a stand for biblical truth.”

Sadly, since then, the Hatmakers have divorced, their oldest daughter came out as homosexual, and Jen has dropped out of church.

Now, in 2022, Hatmaker has issued a strongly-worded statement affirming – yes, affirming – Roe v. Wade.

That’s why I warned her back in 2016. She is following the inevitable trajectory, and those who drift from biblical standards on homosexuality will do so on abortion as well (or vice versa). I have witnessed it for decades.

That’s why Hatmaker embraces all the standard pro-abortion talking points, writing, “Abortion is a choice women make for endless personal reasons including the health of the mother, the health of the baby, rape, incest, viability, financial instability, a dangerous home environment, lack of help, and of course reasons that are theirs alone…as are their bodies.

“This is intensely personal and private, and women deserve agency and choice not only with their bodies but over the decision to parent for the rest of their lives. Anti-abortion advocates have every right to their convictions, but those convictions should only apply to their bodies, their families, and their futures.”

So, the body of the baby, inside the mother’s womb, doesn’t matter. And if you are convinced that the beating heart inside the mother’s body should be protected, you should keep your convictions to yourself.

We should also point out that the vast majority of abortions are not performed because of “the health of the mother, the health of the baby, rape, incest, viability . . . .”

But why confuse facts with feelings? After all, the biblical witness about the humanity of the child within the womb doesn’t matter. It is the spirit of the age and a misguided compassion that carries the day.

This is the inevitable shift that takes place once the Word of God is no longer the standard.

Hatmaker even speaks of “reproductive rights,” another pro-abortion talking point that has no connection to reality. (No one is telling a woman she cannot reproduce. We are telling her and her doctor that they should not kill the baby in her womb.)

But for Hatmaker, though, the opposition to Roe is largely a matter of “political theater.” As she wrote, “if this rabid energy [yes, she describes your passionate concern for the baby in the womb as ‘rabid energy’] was genuine if it had any integrity, it would come baked in with the fiercest and staunchest advocacy for free birth control, comprehensive sex education, maternal health care, paid maternity leave, subsidized child care, affordable housing, marriage counseling and family support systems, guaranteed food security, victims’ rights for all the rape and incest survivors forced to carry their abuser’s baby, subsidized medical care for all the women forced to carry a baby to the detriment of their own health or that of their baby, life insurance for the families whose mothers died in forced childbirth, and every conceivable support for a mother, baby, and family from birth until forever.”

Of course, not a human being or organization on the planet, whatever their position, could provide all this for every woman. And Hatmaker is basically saying that unless you can do everything for everyone that is in any possible way affected by your views, you should do nothing. If that were the case, we would still have slavery in segregation in America.

But the reality is that pro-lifers are on the front lines of the adoption movement, on the front lines of helping kids in foster care, on the front-lines of helping pregnant women get financial help, and on the front lines of mentoring these mothers should they choose to have their babies. (Here’s one example of holistic pro-life activism.)

None of this, however, matters to Hatmaker today, as she has rejected God and His Word, regardless of what she may profess to believe.  That’s why it is no surprise that the words “Bible” or “God” or “Christian” or even the name of “Jesus” do not occur once in her pro-abortion blog. She has left them far behind.

To say it again: we warned her in advance.

May the Lord grant her repentance!
