This may seem much to do about nothing, and most Americans could care less about anything that is happening outside of America, but this illustrates the continued constant erosion of removing all longstanding Biblical and Christian references in every aspect of modern life.

Be it a rebranding of a product, even one across the ocean, or permitting more heresies and unsound doctrines to infect the church. It all stems from one source and that source is ever flowing, ever pushing and tragically the people are yielding. Not standing firm. But then, when the people do not possess a strong Biblical foundation and faith what else can be expected?

Evil, and yes it is evil, is working constantly with no let up to remove God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible, and every reference to and aspect of the Christian faith as well as the Jewish faith.

And the weak, otherwise occupied, self-centered, lacking a sound foundation in Scripture, being drawn into, reduced by evil and all its lies are handing evil everything it wants and demands on a gilded plate.

A little here, a little there, oh that is nothing pay it no mind, a little more there, then here, growing lax in language, lax in discipline and diligence to the Word of God, to the faith and what is the result?

Well, look around.

And it is only going to get worse. A whole lot worse because I see no indication the people are going to repent, turn from sin, turn back to God, turn back to the Holy Bible.

Do you? Really?

It might be a golden syrup and it might seem trivial, and inconsequential, but it is just one more thing in the tearing down of the Christian and Biblical foundations that many things in life have been built on. And what is replacing those Christian and Biblical foundations are foundations made of dung, illusion, delusion, and lies. The people treat their wickedness and attempts at removing God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the inerrant infallible unchanging Word of God as if they have made a great discovery and are creating a Utopia. Finally shaping the world as they have always wanted. Placing themselves as gods, not in need of God or a Saviour.

Maybe they should read Revelation 19, and while at it read the whole Holy Bible from a different heart, a different mind than ever before asking the Lord for His guidance in their reading, studying, and meditating — thinking deeply upon what is read.

Lyle descendent hits out at rebrand to remove Bible link from packaging

A descendent of Abram Lyle, the devout Christian creator of the Lyle’s Golden Syrup tin design, has criticised a rebrand of the product’s packaging that removes references to the Bible.

The design of the tin has remained largely unchanged since it was created in the 1880s by Lyle, who was the elder of a Presbyterian church in Greenock, Scotland.

He was inspired by his Christian faith to design the tin with a distinctive green and gold lion surrounded by a swarm of bees – a reference to the Old Testament story of Samson and the Lion.

Accompanying the image was the biblical quote, “Out of the strong came forth sweetness.”

These are now being ditched by manufacturer Tate & Lyle Sugars to show only a lion’s face in a move that has sparked a backlash.

Alexander Linklater, the great-great-great grandson of Abram Lyle, said the rebrand was “a bad call in the depressing tradition of unnecessary redesigns”.

He told The Telegraph: “They are changing something that is both very distinctive and familiar to something generic and woolly.

“It was Britain’s oldest brand. The rebranding is a move away from what was a real piece of commercial history.”

He added, “I do not think the feeble woolly-shaped lion is very good. Why throw away 140 years of proven branding?”

Tate & Lyle Sugars has said that religion played “no part” in the rebrand of the tin.
