To understand much of what is taking place in this world – the rise of the New Age Movement for one – we must recognize the roots of much of what takes place in these last days has its roots in the occult. As true believers in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and sacred Scripture we should know, we must know God forbids mixing of occultic practices with worship to the Most High One True Living God. Yet people in their ignorance, in elevating of self, in their increasing fervor to be lax and accepting of everything become more occultic and less Biblical each passing day. What is present, and what is to come, that passes for worship and service to God is in many instances in truth serving satanic power.

The New Age Movement, which most professed Christians would vehemently deny serving more than Scripture, or God, has infected every aspect of modern life, and ESPECIALLY our churches. The New Age Movement is nothing but serving Satan. It is the sorcery of old. The witchcraft. The divining. It is paganism and gnosticism merely wrapped in shiny paper and an alluring bow of reasoning within one’s self to excuse their thoughts, their deeds, their lives living in this world and not living according to sacred Scripture in the pursuit of God, in the pursuit of being holy.

The Bible describes to us very real different dimensions or realms of reality. There is heaven, hell, and the visible universe we are so familiar with. In Scripture the Apostle Paul tells us of another realm, or dimension that every person should pay attention to continually – the realm of “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.”

Paul tells us we are daily, continually engaged in combat with the forces that dominate this realm – and make no mistake – these forces DO DOMINATE. Forsake this deceptive teaching that “people are basically good,” and that we need to be “more tolerant.” Those are the very seeds those dominating this other dimension plant within the minds to have us serve them more than serving the Lord! Do not be deceived.

Following you will find passages from Ephesians and Deuteronomy. Please pay attention to Ephesians 2: 2, and Ephesians 6: 11-12.

Each day, throughout our days given to us by God Almighty, we must continually seek and ask for the Lord to bless us with the gift of discernment. We must see clearly and develop as perfect vision as we can increasing our wisdom, understanding, and knowledge of the complete Living Word of God, which reveals His will, His truth, and provides us life no matter what may come to this world, or to our lives.

Yes, by grace are we saved. Which comes by faith and not by works. But being a true believer and approved before the Lord does not end with grace. It begins there.

Study to be approved. Study as a working student of God’s Word so as not to ever be ashamed DISCERNING – as the Apostle Paul wrote it for us “rightly dividing the Word of God.” To be acceptable unto the Lord, and to prepare for not only this day, but for tomorrow when it comes.

Ephesians

CHAPTER
2

1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in
the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Ephesians

Chapter 6: 10- 20

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Deuteronomy

Chapter 18: 9-14

9 ¶ When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an
enchanter, or a witch,

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
