It’s all about deception. It’s all about seduction. It’s all about rebellion. It’s all about confusion. It’s all about lies. It’s all about hatred — of God, of the Lord Jesus Christ, of the Holy Spirit, of the Holy Bible. It’s all about self.

I don’t watch the Grammys or any award programs. They’re all nonsense and an utter waste of life, of time, a commodity more precious than any material wealth on this earth. I don’t even watch much American produced television programming. Other than a few sporting events and sporadic broadcast news programs. So, some would say I don’t know what I’m writing about. Oh, but I do — I’ve lived for seventy years in America. More than a few places. More than a few states. And I’ve witnessed the rapid descent, the rapid decline, the pieces all being put into place for the demise.

All due to a love of evil and a hatred of God and His righteousness, His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, a hatred and denial of the Holy Spirit [even among some professing to be Christians, which cannot be], and a blind white-hot hatred of the Scriptures — the Way, the Light, the Life & the Truth.

One of the continued without abatement distractions is to portray Satan as a red being with horns and a pitchfork. When Satan appears seductive, beguiling, beautiful, and as an angel of light — as he did when appearing first in the Garden of Eden to seduce and beguiled Adam and Eve to think about themselves rather than what God might say, and to ignore God and believe him instead.

Evil is on a rapid rise in America, in every Western nation, and throughout the world.

And this rising evil is adored, admired, applauded, and approved of;

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

You can shrug things off. Say it’s just entertainment, harmless, and nothing to get all up about, knickers in a knot. That is the nonchalance, the laziness, the lack of being watchful and discerning wisely and rightly, the ignorance — ignoring — that has brought us to the very places we are.

And the places we’re yet to go — which will make these present times pale in comparison.

Don’t believe what is written in God’s Word. Don’t read the Bible. Don’t believe? And see where that leads. While here in this fleeting, temporal life — and for your eternity. Even if you don’t believe in one, or such things.

Either everything in God’s Word is real, true, and how it was, is, and will be, and those who believe are of sound mind and wise — or else we’re all raving nutters and ought to be locked away somewhere.

If so, then why is it that God’s Word and faith in Him, in the Lord Jesus Christ [even before the Lord came to earth fully truly man, fully truly God], has remained, sustained, and grown for a remnant of people, the Jews, to the original handful of disciples to what Christianity has become?

If it were false, just smoke and mirrors, something only lunatics believe why has it sustained, remained, and grown over the millennia — as nothing else on earth ever has?

Other than its opposite — evil.

There are only two paths in life. Only two kinds of people. God’s people, true believers, disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, justified by their faith in the free gift of God’s grace, and being sanctified in this life on their way to eternal life.

And everyone else.

Granted, the former is but a remnant in comparison to the latter group.

If you don’t like writhing, screaming, teeth gnashing, wailing, tormented crowds you’d better pause to contemplate what an eternity in hell will be like — an eternity — forever without any break — FOREVER.

Pausing to at least be intelligent and not concerned about what others you know may think — and turn to God and His Word in contemplation, study, prayer, and meditation.

Because every person on earth either serves and belongs to God’s people, God’s camp, or else they belong to and serve Satan. No matter what the world or anyone may say to the contrary.

The proof is witnessed daily. All around us. In death. In life. In human behavior and nature.

The signs are all around. If claiming to be smart, independent, wise, and not one to be misled then take the time if you have not, to ponder and pursue the knowledge of God, the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, the knowledge of the Holy Spirit — and that is achieved in the Holy Bible. And in fervent faithful prayer.

Because we all either are the Lord’s or the devil’s in this escalating spiritual war.

Time to truly wake up while blessed with breath and a beating heart, and a spirit and mind to see and hear and allow the Spirit of God to work within you.

When it isn’t about God, it isn’t about Jesus, it isn’t about the Holy Spirit, and it isn’t about what is within the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation…and it’s all about self and the here and now…

It really isn’t about life.

It’s a delusion that it is…

…because that delusion only leads to death. Eternal death. And all that means, which no man or woman can even begin to comprehend the terror, the awfulness, the pain, and suffering of it as it goes on for eternity.

Don’t like being manipulated? Conned? Lied to? Then do something radical and real about being continually seduced by evil!

At Grammys and Elsewhere, the Devil Is in the Details

I didn’t watch the Grammys, so I first heard that people were worshipping Satan at the Grammys on social media. I admit to being skeptical, not just because I heard about it on social media and skepticism is always the correct response, but also because I’ve seen accusations of Satanism before.

As much as I love my conservative Christian brothers and sisters, we are not immune to hyperbole. I was once told the name of the band AC/DC stood for “Anti-Christ, Devil’s Children” — which turned out not to be true. Even Christian rock bands, I was told, were undercover agents for Satan because of the back beat and distorted guitar sounds. So, yeah, I’m skeptical.

But then I watched the performance. Even before it started, Madonna, who called the performance “beautifully unholy” was getting us ready for what was to come. Sam Smith and Kim Petras performed the song “Unholy” on a stage that had been transformed into a glamorous version of hell. It included all the sexiness those who want to spend eternity away from God imagine hell has but didn’t include any of the torment, weeping, or gnashing of teeth.

Everything was red, black, and poorly lit but the lake of fire that consumed the stage provided enough light to clearly see the silhouettes of the dancers turned witches. At first the witches gyrated but ultimately, they bowed before Sam Smith whose devil’s horns and staff had transformed him, unmistakably, into a likeness of Satan. When a coven of witches is bowing before a likeness of Satan, it becomes difficult to describe it as something other than “satanic” just as it would be difficult to describe a likeness of angels bowing before the throne of God singing “holy, holy, holy” as anything other than Christian. Apropos of something, perhaps, we were notified at the close of the song that the performance was brought to us by Pfizer. The entire scene felt like a clip from a dystopian film that was showing media clips from the future to illustrate how bad things had become.

The performance got the reaction they likely expected as conservative Christians took to social media to highlight and condemn the glamorization of Satan worship in primetime. In fact, the reaction is probably exactly what they were hoping for. In the entertainment industry, all press is good press and a lot of people, including me, who would never watch the Grammys and had never heard of Sam Smith or Kim Petras, were now talking about them.

But we should object when Satan is being worshipped on TV.

Predictably, the sophisticated class were quick to dismiss the criticisms. We were assured that anyone bothered by Satan worship at the Grammys just doesn’t appreciate edginess or good art. The website Billboard.com went a step further in their response to the criticism arguing that concerns about Satanism were a distraction from the historic victory for lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender rights the performance represented.

What those of us who were unfamiliar with the performers did not realize is that Sam Smith identifies as non-binary — whatever that means — and Kim Petras is a man who has undergone significant surgical and chemical interventions to look like a woman. Petras later became the first transgender-identifying performer to win a Grammy which, in their minds, made this night “historic,” not “Satanic.” According to Billboard, “Instead of celebrating the fact that the pair made history for the lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ community that night, conservative viewers slammed the performances for promoting the worship of Satan.” You see, we shouldn’t be concerned if Satan is being worshipped as long as lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ stuff is being promoted.

Of course, this is the game the sexual revolutionaries have been playing for generations. Repeatedly, we are told to overlook evil things because those evil things are being done in the name of some greater good.

Don’t worry about the cartoon pornography being read to your seven-year-old because his loss of innocence is helping to further lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender rights. Don’t object to the dismembering of a child hours before it is born, it’s women’s rights! Don’t be sad when a teenage girls cut off her breasts or a boy cuts off his penis, human rights! Don’t be upset when a child is commoditized and permanently taken away from its mother to be raised by two men, be happy because it helps create the impression that same-sex couples are the same as opposite-sex couples.

At every step of the way, we’re told that the terrible and tragic thing we are witnessing are actually wonderful.

As if to prove the point that we really can be made to call any evil thing good, they decided to worship Satan and tell us it’s great because the worship leaders are transgender. We are being played, and if you want to understand who we are being played by, just go watch the Grammys.
