Perhaps if individuals professing to be Christians actually read the Holy Bible, all of it, not neglecting the Old Testament, and they studied and actually believed everything in God’s Word they would allow God’s Word to direct them in their views on Israel, rather than turning to and relying on modern media, or friends and family.

Pitiful.

This also explains why only 2 out of 10 Christians polled say the Bible influences their views on Israel [while turning to the modern media instead] and 7 out of 10 think some form, some sort of peace agreement can be struck, a political solution, can be found between Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and Israel. Thus clearly revealing the overwhelming number of people polled professing to be Christians know nothing of history. Or what is written in God’s Word.

If they were Bible literate, Bible fluent they would know — and not merely know but understand — there will never be peace, there never can be peace in the Middle East between Israel and the tribes that surround God’s land, God’s people.

Let me ask you this, do you believe every word within the Word of God? Are you familiar with the Lord Jesus Christ returning to this sin-filled earth one more time? And then establishing His kingdom, His worldwide kingdom for 1,000 years? Wherein every nation will acknowledge Jesus as Lord of lords, King of kings, God. And the swords and weapons will be beaten into plowshares, and peace will exist on all the earth for the only time since creation prior to Adam and Eve disobeying God. And that after Jesus’ 1,000-year reign IN JERUSALEM, IN ISRAEL, this world as it has been known will be rolled up like a scroll. Forever removed and forgotten. And God will create a new heaven and new earth, and A NEW JERUSALEM.

Jerusalem. God’s city.

Israel. God’s land.

Turn off your televisions, push away from all the glowing screens and modern media.

All anyone needs in order to know, to have a clear view, to truly understand is…

THE BIBLE.

God’s inerrant infallible LIVING & ACTIVE Word.

Really. The Holy Bible and fervent, humble faithful prayer are all that is needed, the best equipment to employ in order to know, to understand, to be clear. Don’t neglect Genesis to Malachi, and everything in between. It’s all there for a reason.

Open it. Read it. Study it. Pray within it. Meditate — think deeply and powder what is read. Put what is read and becomes known through the help of the Holy Spirit into practice.

And if ever called by a pollster? A survey? Perhaps developing a true Biblical worldview, being as Bible literate and fluent as possible will reveal a true Christian revival in the final tally that eventually gets published.

Pitiful results in every poll over the past 20-plus years from Christians regarding what it means to be a Christian. And the results over the past five years?

It is no wonder the Lord asks…when He returns will He find any faithful on earth?

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”

Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Luke 18:1-8

All we need, everything we need to know, where we ought to always, daily go first, place highest to form our minds, hearts, and views is the Holy Bible. God’s Word.

What we need we neglect. What we don’t need we turn to and indulge in.

Is it any wonder America, the world is as it is?

And it is only going to get worse. A lot worse. Such apostasy, falling away, unsound doctrine, turning to other gospels, to fables, the lies of man, enticing, distracting lies designed to make a person feel good rather than to be honed, refined, strengthened in the Word of God.

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:4

Every abomination under the sun is brought into the Church. It has become about being pleasured, feeling good, being entertained, and hearing — all the itching ears — what is agreeable to the carnal mind rather than being guided according to the Holy Bible to grow a spiritual mind and life. More professed Christians following and obeying New Age movement doctrines and practices — PAGANISM — than are following and obeying the Lord Jesus Christ.

Imagine that…

Perhaps with open Bible in hand, eyes, mind, and heart focused, faithful prayer to the Holy Spirit for instruction and understanding beyond our finite feeble human way a clearer view will come into view.

73% Of U.S. Christians Say The Bible Doesn’t Influence Their Views On Israel: Poll

December 30, 2023

Only about a quarter of American Christians say the Bible influences their views on Israel as the Israel-Hamas war continues after the October 7th attack on civilians in southern Israel killed over 1,200 and prompted an Israeli military offensive in Gaza.

Lifeway Research, in collaboration with The Philos Project, conducted a survey asking 1,252 American Christians for their views on the Israel-Hamas war. The poll, conducted between November 14th and 21st and released on December 14th, has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

Respondents were asked about what has “influenced” their views about Israel and were given a list of responses that they could select all that apply. About 27% of Christians selected the Bible, suggesting that among 73% of respondents, the Bible does not inform their views of Israel.

The Bible was the second most commonly cited answer, coming in behind the media at 56%.

Other sources of opinions on Israel cited by American Christians include friends and family (26%), personal experiences with Jews (13%), positions of elected officials (13%), their local church (12%), national Christian leaders (10%), teachers or professors (6%) and personal experiences with Palestinians (5%).

Less than two in 10 American Christians (17%) listed the Bible as the primary influence of their views on Israel, coming in second to the media (44%) as the top source of opinions on Israel. Less than 10% of respondents identified each of the remaining options as the primary determinant of their feelings about the Jewish State.

“American Christians have been following the war between Israel and Hamas, and two-thirds of those who attend church most often say their church has prayed for peace in Israel,” said Lifeway Research Executive Director Scott McConnell in a statement. “While a majority of American Christians support military action by Israel now, a much larger group believe lasting peace must come by mutual agreement of Palestinians and Israelis.”

When asked what they believe to be the “optimal outcome to the current war between Hamas and Israel,” 15% of American Christians responded with “Israel subdues Hamas and establishes longterm security over and control of Gaza,” while 26% said, “Israel subdues Hamas and resumes negotiations with other Palestinian leaders on a permanent political solution to disagreements.”

Twenty-nine percent responded, “Israel and Hamas negotiate an enduring cease fire that results in the release of hostages.” Twelve percent said, “Israel subdues Hamas and consolidates civil and military control over both Gaza and the West Bank.”

“While a noticeable minority of American Christians are critical of some of Israel’s policies prior to October 7, 2023, a majority have positive views of Israel and feel a strong response to the terrorist attack is warranted,” McConnell said. “Support for the defense of Israel does not supersede American Christians’ desire for civilian lives to be preserved, for negotiations to take place and to continue praying for peace.”

Broken down by demographic subgroup, 34% of those between the ages of 30 and 49 cited the Bible as an influence on their opinions of Israel, while just 22% of respondents aged 65 and older said the same. Thirty-one percent of Christians with some college education (31%) identified the Bible as a source of their opinions on Israel, as did 25% of those with a high school education or less.

A much higher share of Protestants (32%) and non-denominational Christians (37%) pointed to the Bible as an influence on their views about Israel than Catholics (16%).
