What do I know? I’m just some old guy in the Midwest of America. No credentials other than a keen observer, I hate jigsaw puzzles but I have a knack for putting some pieces of daily life together. Partly how God made me, and partly due to how God made me. Especially in light of the fact of my being born again and having a Great Helper, a Comforter, Who is also a Great Instructor. The Holy Spirit Who not only affords peace and comfort, true help but also makes things that would remain unknown known to those who believe and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, living to live our lives for the Lord.
God helps us. A lot. In all things. One is insight. No, no, no, not a prophet, nothing like that, nothing as those in darkness, of this world can truly understand. It isn’t anything like the world ould attach this particular knowing.
It isn’t mystical or magical or any of that pagan nonsense. It’s just a certain clarity and guidance to pay attention. See clearly. An ability to know as we’re living in the Word of God and witnessing the Word of God being lived out right before us.
I know, it sounds strange and unbelievable. Until you experience. Which only happens when truly born anew by the power of the Spirit of God via faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and submitting, committing one’s life to the Lord making Him Lord of one’s life.
And it also is just plain sense, which is as sorely lacking among the people of America and the world on par with a lacking of sincere faith, hearts aflame for the Lord. It also is just understanding a bit of history, a bit of human nature with faith in Jesus and living in the Word of God.
It hasn’t been declared and it may not ever be.
But it sure is shaping up by every event that began a few years ago as World War III.
I may be wrong. I sure hope so, I hope and pray for realistic resolutions to all the conflicts and hope for peace breaking out rather than more world war breaking out.
I hope all this just turns out to be a couple of really violent and deadly years, a fragile world living on pins and needles, fearful, confused, coming out of a long pandemic — which could have been orchestrated to bring about the current world situation.
See? It’s all pieces of the real-life picture which is better seeing and working on than any 5,000-piece jigsaw puzzle of an old mill, a snowcapped mountain, or Big Ben.
If you know history, beyond the abbreviated sanitized version taught in most American public schools, World War I and World War II did not begin overnight, in a week, in a month, from one event contrary to the anemic and shorthand version of history sadly provided in most public education systems in America.
If a born anew faithful believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, Bible literate, spiritually discerning and at least somewhat spiritually mature then you know there is nothing to fear.
If, on the other hand, you’re a pagan [that doesn’t mean you don strange ceremonial garb, build an altar, a fire in the woods, and dance about chanting some demonic chant — anyone not a God-fearing person, not a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, not one of God’s people is, then, a pagan. Just how it is. So, as one of the people in continued rebellion and opposition to God, denying Jesus, denying the Holy Spirit, denying the inerrant infallible unchanging eternal living and active Word of God? Well, you probably do have A LOT TO FEAR. Not the least of which is what your eternity is going to be like.
Forget about the North Koreans, the Russians, the Islamic jihadists, the certifiably insane walking about freely in Washington, D.C. calling people like me rubbish for who I am supporting in the upcoming election.
You, my friend, have much larger concerns than North Korean troops in Russia moving up to the front lines of the Russian/Ukraine war and that conflict escalating BIG TIME.
But, read on…
…then do something right now regarding your eternity.

World War III Update:
U.S. Congress Signals ‘Direct Military Action’ if North Korean Troops Join Ukraine War

In a stark warning, the U.S. Congress has raised the possibility of “direct military action” should North Korean troops enter the battlefield in Ukraine. Representative Michael Turner, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, made it clear that North Korea’s involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict would be a “red line” for the United States—a move he believes should provoke a serious military response.
This bold stance, reported by The Hill, reflects growing American concerns as intelligence from South Korea and statements from the White House suggest North Korea has already sent up to 3,000 troops to Russia. These troops reportedly aim to bolster Russian forces as they continue the prolonged conflict with Ukraine. The Biden administration, alongside Vice President Kamala Harris, is being urged to take a hard line, signaling to North Korea and Russia that further escalation would not go unanswered.
“If the troops of North Korea enter the sovereign territory of Ukraine,” Turner stated, “the U.S. needs to seriously consider the possibility of taking direct military action against the troops of North Korea.” This would mark a significant expansion of U.S. involvement in the conflict, potentially heightening global tensions as Washington seeks to deter Pyongyang from further military support of Russia.
South Korean intelligence initially reported that North Korean soldiers had been sent to Russia, with strict efforts to keep the deployment under wraps. North Korean authorities are reportedly isolating the families of deployed soldiers to prevent the news from spreading, underlining the secrecy surrounding their involvement. In response, Germany and Austria have summoned North Korean ambassadors, underscoring international condemnation.
The White House, backing Turner’s stance, warned that any North Korean military personnel engaging in combat on Ukrainian soil would be treated as legitimate targets. The Biden administration’s endorsement of this policy suggests an unwavering commitment to defending Ukraine’s sovereignty—even if that means confronting North Korean forces.
