Xi Jinping: The Chinese Communist Party is about to turn 100 but Xi ...

World War III wasn’t going to begin with the sending out of gold-embossed invitations and an announcement. It happened slowly. Ever building.

World War II was not like World War I. World War III is not like World War II.

One of the greatest dearths, and tragedies of people today is their utter lack of interest or knowledge in history. Refusing to understand a person learns about history not to gloat, toss out a multitude of facts, or bore others. We all ought to be keen on learning as much real history as we can ingest for one simple fact — to know what happened in the past reveals not only why our daily lives are as they are each day, but what to expect, look forward to in the future.

Without tossing out trite cliches and moving on.

When X happened ______ years ago it determines R today and shows us the Y of tomorrow.

But who wants to know that, right? Just live for the moment. Blind, ignorant, and otherwise occupied seeking pleasure and release. Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die! Yes, especially if refusing to learn, know, understand, and live according to past history and what is unfolding daily right on front of us.

Are people waiting for enemy bombers to appear overhead and unleash their payloads? Or for an invasion force to breach our border?

It’s all transpired. And then some. Continual theft of military information, and intellectual property, cyber warfare, sending in a plain clothes invasionary force of enemy combatants of communist Chinese and Islamist origins unabated over the southern border, buying up property, establishing from within, allying with other nations who view America as the problem. Align and ally with Russia, Iran, and North Korea forming a new Axis of evil broader, stronger, more emboldened, and as evil as the Third Reich’s Axis of evil with Italy and Japan during World War II.

If you’re waiting for some grand gesture, like it’s going to happen like those moronic insipid idiotic gender reveal parties people with too much time, too much money, and not enough substance throw I beseech you to think again.

The start of World War III has already come and gone. Passed most folks’ awareness. Just as it did when World War II began. Most folks taught it began with Nazi Germany invading Poland. Wrong. It began well before that. Some years before that. Not only in the rise of Adolf Hitler and the nazi party within Germany, ignored, mocked, loathed, and not taken seriously — but it actually began on the other side of the world with Japan invading and going to war with communist China.

Hmm…rather like Russia going to war with Ukraine, Iran openly going to war with America and Israel, and communist China going to war with America — perhaps not openly declared yet, except in the case of Russia at war with Ukraine and Iran openly declaring war against America and Israel — hey, it’s looking a lot like a World War isn’t it after all?

Only evil wants this war. Evil started it. And America, now weakened, acting like an impotent animal that just wants to slink away and hide somewhere —America is acting like a five-year-old not wanting to hear anything he or she doesn’t want to hear, as they close their eyes and cover their ears and make loud nonsensical sounds with their tongues and lips.

Yes, exactly like that.

But denial of reality does not remove reality. Hiding does not keep the ones seeking destruction from their seeking.

A large part of how World War III is different than World War II, just as World War II was different than World War I is the escalating cyber warfare taking place. Daily. It is exacting, devastating pinpoint bombing of America’s infrastructure, way of life, food chain, power grid, and communications.

If that isn’t an act of war what is?

Oh, and if you need similarities between World War II in order to come to terms World War III has begun? World War II which brought America into the war had almost everything to do with oil. We had it. In spades. Japan needed it. We enforced an oil embargo against Japan. Because they invaded communist China.

Communist China is now the largest consumer of oil and they need more and more oil every day. They are getting their oil in large part from Iran and Russia. Iran is selling billions of dollars in oil they should not be permitted to sell by sanctions imposed. Sanctions are still in place regarding the sale of their oil.

It’s all about economies. About bullying and pushing and shoving and wanting what the other one has, and about destroying what the other one has they hate and are opposed to themselves.

And this has aligned communist China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea against America. Against Israel. Against the West.

What do you require in order to say, or think, “Yeah, I think World War Three has really begun.”

Do you need to see a mushroom cloud the size of Iowa billowing into the sky?

Or a squadron of enemy bombers overhead?

Do you need America’s power grid shut down and destroyed? All communications to go haywire and bring about massive unheard of before in history confusion and mayhem?

Think it might be too late at that point?

Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stallone won’t appear to save the free world that isn’t very free at this point single-handedly.

Or are folks awaiting their favored talking head on the telly to read from a TelePrompter that its official, we’re calling it, yes, World War III is officially here!

You’ve watched too many bad movies, listened to too many talking heads, and lived in a land of illusion, banality, and denial for too long. Thinking the liars, the deceivers, and false teachers are telling the truth.

Men and women are inherently wicked. Evil. Not inherently good as the lie of the revived paganism, the New Age Movement and all its poisonous branches from its roots spread and choke and cause disorientation removing one from God, from reality.

World War III has begun. And it is being escalated weekly.

You just might see that mushroom cloud, hear that squadron of enemy bombers — but by then? Well, it’ll be too late to subdue the enemy that has gained the upper hand and has dealt a losing blow to the deniers, the hiders, the pretenders, the illusionists, the deluded, the fearful of the truth, the pill-popping, mega drug addled who can’t face reality masses. Who live in fear having no God in their hearts or minds, save themselves and men and women that can’t save them or protect them. No Saviour of their spirit or soul.

Not a way to endure another world war…

Chinese hackers target infrastructure

Cyberattack efforts threaten to spread chaos, confusion with flick of a switch

The heads of the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency told lawmakers that their agencies have thwarted Chinese governmentlinked efforts to hack critical U.S. infrastructure, and they warned that Beijing’s infiltration attempts are escalating and poised to induce chaos if left unchecked.

FBI Director Christopher A. Wray and CISA chief Jen Easterly gave the testimony Wednesday to the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, which focused on Beijing’s efforts to hack into critical U.S. infrastructure such as power grids, bridges, water supply systems, and oil and gas pipelines.

“China’s hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm to American citizens and communities if or when China decides the time has come to strike,” Mr. Wray said in his opening testimony. “Today, and literally every day, they’re actively attacking our economic security, engaging in wholesale theft of our innovation and our personal and corporate data.”

Committee Chairman Mike Gallagher, Wisconsin Republican, said China and a community of state-backed hackers have spent 20 years planting malware into the technology that controls infrastructure with the intent of sowing mass chaos, confusion and casualties with the flick of a switch.

“This is the cyberspace equivalent of placing bombs on American bridges, water treatment facilities and power plants,” Mr. Gallagher said.

China’s cyberespionage programs to infiltrate the U.S. are not new, but too little public attention has been given to their efforts, said Mr. Wray, who regularly cites China as the FBI’s top security concern.

China’s hacking operation is more extensive than those of every other U.S. adversary combined, he said, and the community of Chinese cyberoperatives outnumbers the FBI’s cybersecurity agents by a ratio of 50-1.

“The [Chinese Communist Party’s] dangerous actions, China’s multipronged assault on our national security and economic security, make it the defining threat of our generation,” Mr. Wray said.

He said the FBI recently carried out

a coordinated operation to identify hundreds of routers operated and taken over by the notorious state-sponsored hacking group Volt Typhoon. Those routers covertly infiltrated U.S. public and private networks and took specific steps to “destroy and degrade” critical infrastructure.

Targets of the hack included naval ports, internet service providers and utilities, authorities said.

Mr. Wray noted that China’s targeting of U.S. infrastructure systems is just one part of a coordinated large-scale effort to undermine America’s economic security. The effort also includes stealing intellectual property from high-tech companies and personal records from millions of U.S. citizens and government employees. Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois, the top Democrat on the select committee created by the new House Republican majority after the 2022 midterm elections, said China had transformed itself into a “cyber superpower.” He noted that Volt Typhoon hackers had broken into dozens of critical infrastructure points and attempted to breach the Texas power grid.

He said China’s moves were meant to undermine U.S. military readiness and civil functions, with the explicit intent to “shake the enemy’s will to war.”

“Any cyberattack that results in physical damage or loss of life would grant the United States the inherent right to self-defense,” Mr. Krishnamoorthi said. “We need to make sure that we have the capability to respond, and to respond decisively.”

China’s communist government has denounced the committee’s work and denied it conducts or condones the hacking operations. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said Beijing has been the target of U.S. offensive cyberoperations.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang accused the Biden administration in early January of engaging in double standards when it attacks other nations’ cyberoperations.

A report released by the Chinese cybersecurity monitoring firm 360 Security Group this week said more than 1,200 intrusions from at least 13 foreign sources targeted Chinese industries last year, with a particular focus on education. A Chinese state media account of the study did not identify individual countries suspected in the hacks but said the sources included operations based in North America, South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia.

A steady stream of court cases and private investigations suggest China’s cyberoperations are gaining momentum in the U.S.

Software giant Microsoft said last year that an internal investigation found that Chinese hackers with ties to the Beijing government routinely target networks that manage U.S. infrastructure systems.

Ms. Easterly, the CISA director, said Chinese state-sponsored hacking outfits burrow deep. She told lawmakers that her agency recently thwarted threats to aviation, water and other critical public infrastructure systems.

Despite all the efforts by cybersecurity agencies, the technology underpinning many American infrastructure systems is “inherently insecure,” she said.

Ms. Easterly said Chinese hackers have taken advantage of “very basic flaws” in the technology that operates infrastructure. She accused some software developers of eschewing security safeguards to speed up product development and hit the market sooner.

She said CEOs and board members in the private sector will not take the steps needed to better secure technology and infrastructure until they realize that cyberattack risks are also business risks.

“We’ve made it easy on them,” Ms. Easterly said.

Mr. Wray said the Chinese hacking operations specifically target civilian systems with lower security safeguards than those dealing with government functions of national security.

“Low blows against civilians are part of China’s plan,” he said.
