Do you know how amazing God is, how amazing the Lord Jesus Christ is, how amazing the Holy Spirit is, and how amazing the Holy Bible is? I lived for years, many years, determined in my heart, mind, spirit, and soul that, yes, there was going to be a Rapture of Christ’s Church, but I was always convinced it was going to occur at the end of the Great Tribulation.

But God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible, and being still within, seeking spiritual discernment, and willing to listen. To learn. Be calm. Pray. Read and meditate upon what is read. Discern wisely and rightly divide the Word and do you know what happens, what can happen?

Spiritual growth and a knowing within of the Spirit of God working within.

After all, when we confess our sin, ask the Lord to forgive us, promise to submit and commit our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, and ask to be one of His, one of His disciples and we earnestly mean it, we have repented? We from our heart indwelt of the Holy Spirit ask Jesus to be the Lord of our life? We ask to be renewed of mind and spirit, to be born again and for the Holy Spirt to come to us as we come to Christ, when we understand and believe that we are washed in the blood that Christ shed on the tree of shame for our sin, we believe every word within the Word?

We ought to then be open to learning daily from His Word. Discerning well, rightly — not on our own but always prayerfully, faithfully asking the Holy Spirit to teach us. Teach us things we could never understand or comprehend without the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Able to admit we have held on to theologies, doctrines, beliefs that had been picked up somewhere along the way but were not substantiated within Scripture.

Upon truly, seriously, openly desiring to discern well, wisely, and rightly divide the Word I have come to go to the Holy Bible. Go to pastors who directly speak from the Word and reveal in the reading of Scripture, showing how various verses and passages all tie together.

Sound doctrine is to then believe what God has told us in His inerrant infallible living and active Word and to understand and believe that there will be a catching up, a being caught up, snatched up — raptured to be with Christ — prior to the Great Tribulation. And we will then return with Christ when He comes back for the Second Coming.

I was always dogged, stubborn, determined that there are only two times Jesus comes to earth so therefore there could not be a rapture prior to the Great Tribulation. But Jesus IS COMING IN THE SKY to gather His church in the twinkling of an eye and remove born-again followers of His BEFORE the revealing of the Antichrist and the coming Great Tribulation. This is Scriptural. Find out below if unsure or not believing this, as well as other Scriptural and sound doctrine pastors on the subject.

In the Second Coming of Jesus, He reveals Himself to the whole world and sets His foot down once again upon the Mount of Olives to establish His 1,000 year kingdom

Where do you stand?

If in doubt, if not believing at all, if convinced there is no pre-tribulation rapture of Christ’s people please study the Scriptures like a Berean [see Acts 17]. Listen with an open and pure heart and spirit for the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to instruct you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truths to you that you never knew, never believed, and trust in the Lord to answer your prayers for discernment and wisdom.

Take time to humble oneself, prayerfully, faithfully, and turn to the Holy Bible. Go to God. Search out God and His Word. Carefully. Faithfully. Like a Berean search the Scriptures and trust in the Holy Spirit to shed light upon those matters that need light shined upon them.

Perhaps this is one of those things.

I know it was for me.

Now I see clearly and as a result, my spiritual life, and my walk with Christ have improved.
