Bear in mind my use of capitalization is NOT anger as the world has adopted blindly that stupidity, my use of capitalization is merely for EMPHASIS since it is clear EMPHASIS is needed in this age. As mere Italics don’t seem to get noticed by folks.

First, understand every place the author CONFORMS TO THE WORLD and uses the word “gay,” save for one place, to describe the abomination and mortal sin of homosexuality I took the liberty to change it to the correct word.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 12:2 — English Standard Version

Are you truly a renewed of mind, transformed by the Supernatural power of the Spirit of God disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ? Then cease at once in conforming to the world, accommodating the world, appeasing the devil in using the WORDS HE PLACED IN DARK, SINFUL MINDS OF MEN AND WOMEN TO ANESTHISIZE THE ABOMINATION OF HOMOSEXUALITY!

You probably then even say things such as “mother nature” conforming in your speech to the rampant paganism while considering yourself a child of God!

Stop misusing words and CONFORMING TO THE WORLD.

Secondly, and most importantly — THERE IS NO SUCH A PERSON AS A HOMOSEXUAL CHRISTIAN! 

That is an impossibility. No matter what any person — ANY PERSON — in this world may think, say, write, or preach.

To make such an errant statement or to believe such is akin to calling the man in the photo below anorexic!

Why can I state that? Because of my humble and clear knowledge of the Word of God. With the leading of the Holy Spirit. Asking for spiritual wisdom [see James 1 ESV]. Plus it’s clearly, plainly written in black and white where no debate should ever enter in for any person able to read or hear the plain words. No gray area within them. No variance. Nothing is left open for interpretation.

Let’s first and foremost become clearer than crystal regarding this TRUTH.

Do you know the words of the Word of God? Do you believe them? Beginning at Genesis 1? What happens? God and Jesus Created Perfection.

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Genesis 1:31 — English Standard Version

Earth, all of it, every part, animal, molecule, including man and woman at that point was GOOD. Perfect. As God made it as He, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have no part in sin or anything EVIL.

Contrary to the LIE, from the father of lies, Satan, that pours from the mouths of those professing to be Christian or of this fallen and evil world — GOD DID NOT CREATE HOMOSEXUAL PEOPLE! God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit did not bring homosexual people into this world!

The sin of man and woman did that. Fallen, sinful man and woman who by their free will, their CHOICE determined to oppose God, deny God, turn from God and obey evil, obey and be tempted to sin by the devil.

Prior to man and woman by their CHOICE, in REBELLION disobeying God and obeying Satan, there was NO SIN IN THIS WORLD. No weeds. No pain in childbirth. No DEATH. No having to work by the sweat of one’s brow.

Any person — ANY PERSON — that utters the words, thinks the words, writes the words that “God created homosexual people,” those folks are NO DIFFERENT THAN THE SERPENT IN THE GARDEN! For that person is a liar. I don’t care if that person is your kindly old senior pastor. He’s a liar. Anyone saying God creates homosexual people is a liar. The SIN of homosexuality only entered this world that was once perfect by the SIN OF MAN AND WOMAN — not the Creation by God and Christ. Stop perverting the truth with the lies of Satan exactly as he did in the Garden to Adam and Eve. No difference at all.

Let’s first and foremost become clearer than crystal regarding this TRUTH.

The continuing lies comprising that which is nothing but lies attempting to justify and accommodate the sin and evil of homosexuality — to those who think, write, or say that if the Word of God were written today it would be accommodating and affirming to homosexuality do not know God. No matter who that person may be. Including your dear pastor, professed Christian friends, or if you think or say that yourself.

Why can I write this with complete confidence I am correct? Because God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are IMMUTABLE. If you do not know what that means get a dictionary and look it up. To those who think that’s too big a thing to ask and would cause them such distress and time;

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have NEVER CHANGED. They never will. Man attempts to adapt and adopt the always increasing sin and evil to align with their relativistic ways, foolishly, blindly imagining this is progress, increasing in sophistication, being current — when all it’s just accommodating the escalating sin and evil of the world.

And this is exactly what the overwhelming majority of so-called Christian churches and so-called Christians do today, have done yesterday, and more will do tomorrow as long as they neglect the Word of God, remain Bible illiterate, refuse to search the Scriptures, and ask the Holy Spirit for instruction. This, of course, is difficult when the overwhelming majority constantly have their itching ears attuned to the words of the world, or their lost and serving Satan pastors rather than having their hearts and minds attuned to God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, with their eyes and ears, their hearts and minds in the Word of God! Immersed in the Word of God!

It isn’t about appeasing the world and appearing compassionate. There is NOTHING compassionate about accommodating and appeasing sin! Want to truly love a sinner and show them real love? Then preach the Word of God to them. As it is written. Not as it has become perverted by men and women. Preach the Word to them and let them know unless they truly repent, truly confess their sin, truly ask God to heal them, forgive them, and that they want with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind, and their body to serve the Lord? Well, it’s only an eternity in hell for them.

It isn’t about “feeling good,” or being liked and accepted. It’s about the exact opposite — it’s about being hated by this world, not being accepted by this world, but in our steady and clear walk according to the whole Word of God serving our immutable God, serving our Saviour Who sacrificed it all for us, it’s about the love that is mentioned throughout the Bible, and that love is not as defined and lived by the world, but as lived and defined by God, so that those who come out of the world’s darkness and evil and into the Light, Life, Truth, and Way of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ can live lives as examples to others while professing the ACCURATE and WHOLE WORD OF GOD so that those lost and destined for an eternity in the depths of hell may have the opportunity for God’s free gift of grace. Forgiveness of sin. Salvation and eternal life.

Stop accommodating and appeasing this world and all its lies.

Start being true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, true children of God rather than children of disobedience and this world.

Appeasement, accommodating sin and evil is not helping anyone. In fact, it’s leading them directly away from the Lord and into the clutches of Satan, dear professed Christian.

Begin in the Word. Stay in the Word.

And begin using the correct words in this life ceasing to conform to this world thusly making the Evil One pleased. Begin now to speak, write, and live uppermost in mind always to please the Lord. Do you seriously believe it is pleasing and acceptable to the Lord to use the word “gay” to describe the severe punishable by eternal death act of homosexuality? Why do you speak, write and live to satisfy man and this world rather than God?

Start there.

Start today back in the Bible. All of it. From the beginning not bypassing or explaining away Genesis 1 through 11 by worldly wisdom which is foolishness and nothing but lies.

Start in furrowing and planting a dedicated prayer life.

We can’t do that 24.7/365 as we’re all still sinful flesh.

But I tell ‘ya folks — we sure can do a much, much better job than we have been doing these past number of years.

Because we presently are where we are all due to the state of what passes for Christianity over the past 60, 70 years and as it has rapidly eroded and accommodated the world becoming indistinguishable from the world having turned from God and the inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible. I had a friend, a Christian friend a few years back and she told me more than a few times I didn’t need to keep writing “the inerrant Word of God,” as people already knew that.

Really? When that becomes evident, then and only then will I stop writing “the inerrant Word of God” because I don’t see that professed Christians know, believe, and accept the inerrancy and infallibility of the Word of God. They no longer revere the authority of God’s Word preferring the words and ways of man, just as Adam and Eve preferred the lies of the devil in the Garden.

Nothing has changed. Except for a lot more fallen sinners now inhabit this place once made perfect by God and Jesus, now corrupted and eroding by our choosing, by our sin, by our disobedience and rebellion!

What Is ‘Homosexual Christianity’?

Let’s see if you’ve heard any of these statements before:

• God made people homosexual and therefore being homosexual should be celebrated and affirmed.
• Jesus never mentioned homosexuality even once.
• The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is about inhospitality and greed, not homosexuality.
• If the Bible were written today, it would be homosexual-affirming.
• The Bible doesn’t say anything about sexual orientation.
• Christians hate homosexual people and need to change their theology to be more loving.

If you’ve heard one or more of these statements before—whether on social media, in conversation with a family member, or even promoted by a supposedly Christian pastor—you have just encountered one of the many influences of “homosexual Christianity.”

Throughout two thousand years of church history, Christians have understood—and Christian churches have taught—that homosexuality is a sin. It is “against nature” (Romans 1:26–27). It is an “abomination” (Leviticus 18:22, 20:13). It can be described as “vile affections” or “dishonorable passions” (Romans 1:26). It is not God’s design for marriage or family (Genesis 2:18–25). It is something that God does not bless, nor can He because it is defiantly against His revealed will (1 Corinthians 6:9–10). And because it is against God’s will and design, to embrace and celebrate homosexuality is to evoke God’s judgment—as an individual, church, or nation (Genesis 19:1–29). Since Christianity took root in the West, the Bible’s teaching against homosexuality has defined public policy and social attitudes in Europe and America.

But a strange thing has happened in the years surrounding the sexual revolution. The Bible that had once been so clear on sexuality suddenly became pretty fuzzy. Morals and ethics were subject to redefinition. Study committees needed to meet in order to discuss what the Bible was now saying. Churches found reasons to defy their former standards and force others to change with them. And Christians became more and more confused about what was true. The influence of “homosexual Christianity” can be seen in many ways across the church and society today.

Fundamentally, homosexual Christianity is the attempt to reconcile the Christian faith with homosexuality. I use “gay Christianity” as a label for this general movement, although I recognize that there are differing streams of thinking within it. Sometimes these differing streams have competing goals and conflicting theological claims and are not nearly as unified as the general term may imply. However, it is important to see the points of similarity and difference while also observing the common thrust of the movement as a whole. That is why I wrote the book Dangerous Affirmation: The Threat of “Gay Christianity”, now available from American Family Association.

What do I mean by saying “homosexual Christianity” is the attempt to reconcile the Christian faith with homosexuality? The Christian faith is the body of beliefs, practices, and values—rooted in the Bible—that have defined the teaching, worship, and ministry of the Christian church throughout her existence. As briefly mentioned above, the Christian faith recognized homosexuality as sinful and unnatural—a view universally agreed upon until the sexual revolution of the 1960s and 1970s.

Homosexuality is likewise a broad term—including notions of desire, attraction, sexual behavior, relationships, identity, language, community, and culture. One aspect of the homosexual debate within the church is the ever-broadening definition of homosexuality within Western culture. As homosexuality is lived out by people and embraced by society, the particular meanings that may be ascribed to the concept of homosexuality change. Even the words used to describe homosexuality change over time—such as the emergence of the word gay as the preferred term for identifying as a homosexual.

The last element of this definition of “homosexual Christianity” is the word reconcile. Reconcile means to bring into harmony, to settle a conflict, or to make two things consistent that were at one time inconsistent. If the Christian faith and homosexuality are seen as being at odds, then “homosexual Christianity” is the attempt to find some level of compatibility between them. It assumes that these two ideas are not fundamentally opposed but have points of common agreement. For instance, this is what “homosexual Christians” are arguing when they say that “homosexual Christian” is not a contradiction in terms or that God blesses same-sex marriage.

The book Dangerous Affirmation is intended to serve as an introduction, rebuttal, and warning. It was written to help the average person in the pew to understand what is being argued by major “homosexual Christian” thinkers and to respond to it biblically. Although the Bible is the primary focus, I did not shy away from discussing controversial topics like homophobia, lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender suicide rates, conversion therapy laws, and the rise of “homosexual celibate Christianity.” Truth demands proper application to every aspect of our life and society.

There are five central ways in which “homosexual Christianity” is impacting the Christian church:

1. The rethinking of theology (chapter 1).
2. The rethinking of the Bible (chapter 2).
3. The re- thinking of the church (chapter 3).
4. The rethinking of identity (chapter 4).
5. The rise of lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender activists within the church (chapter 5).

Each chapter includes a careful explanation of some facet of that problem, illustrations of how these things have been seen, and guidance for understanding these issues in light of Scripture. A list of recommended resources that may help further inquiry is included at the end as well as extensive indexes to help find subjects or scriptures referenced in the book.

For those concerned about honoring God with your lives, I hope and pray that Dangerous Affirmation stirs you to think about the threat “homosexual Christianity” poses to the church and the world. I hope it renews your thinking because it presents the Word of God clearly and applies the truth accurately. That was my goal.
