I had thought I was done publishing anything here until after Christmas. But events take precedence over taking any time off. Especially such timely ones as that found below.

I hear pastors, people baying and saying that to think people and this world’s days are coming to an end soon borders on hysteria and heresy. Just can’t be, they say, as terrible things, really terrible things have always happened throughout world history. Many are more horrific than what is taking place today according to them.

At face value, if a student of history, one could agree — if of the world, if not a true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, a true child of God indwelt with the Holy Spirit to know what those in darkness still in the snare of Satan, in utter darkness living on the wisdom of the world do not know, cannot know.

Granted, there is not a world war taking place wherein 80,000,000 people are being killed.

While a spiritual war rages unlike at any time in world history.

How can I think or write such a thing knowing a lot of world history and the times, eras, and events of massive spiritual warfare here on earth?

Because at no time in world history from the moment Adam and Eve first bit into the forbidden fruit of the forbidden tree to this very moment you are reading this there has never been such a worldwide destruction of the human family while at the same time elevating, praising, honoring, establishing, accepting, applauding, and approving of every sexually immoral, deviant, abnormal and perverted practice on earth. Acts which animals do not partake of. Contrary to the lies perpetuated by the purely evil sexually deviant, perverted, and immoral movement and all those lost, blind souls that follow the lies and immorality.

It isn’t subtle now. This escalating spiritual war. It’s full on, full bore charge of the anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-Holy Bible, anti-true Christian brigade! With many traitors among us, in the midst.

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:4

We all are living in the overture to the final battle. The crescendo is just around the bend. And the bend is ever so close. Not all those distant years yet to come as so many imagine.

Do not be deceived.

Do not be caught unawares like the five virgins who were otherwise occupied, not always ready, and were caught with no oil in their lamps when the Bridegroom appeared and the door was shut on them.

Do not be swept up and away in the cloud of lies so many have allowed themselves to be immersed and sealed in.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Live within the Word of God, faithfully, seeking, asking for increased spiritual wisdom and discernment [see James 1].

What a story to be writing about at this time, at any time…

“Blasphemous” same-sex nativity scene angers conservatives in Italy

CAPOCASTELLO DI MERCOGLIANO, Italy (Reuters) – A church nativity scene which features two mothers of the Baby Jesus, instead of the conventional Mary and Joseph figurines, has sparked anger among conservative Catholics and politicians in Italy.

Nativity scenes are popular in the largely Catholic country, but in recent years they have been increasingly mired in culture wars as its society becomes more secular and multi-cultural.

The priest at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, in Capocastello di Mercogliano, a hamlet in the province of Avellino about one hour’s drive east of Naples, has defended its depiction of the birth of Jesus.

“I wanted to show with this scene that families are no longer just the traditional ones,” Father Vitaliano Della Sala told Reuters.

“In our parishes we see more and more children from the new types of families that exist and are part of our society, children of separated and divorced people, homosexual couples, single people, young mothers.”

Father Della Sala, known in Italy for sympathizing with sexually deviant, sexually perverted, and sexually immoral practices which are against the establishment of human sexuality found in the Holy Bible, as well as sympathizing with left-wing causes, says his attitude is in line with that of Pope Francis, who this week, in a landmark ruling, allowed priests to bless same-sex couples.

But Senator Maurizio Gasparri, of the co-ruling Forza Italia party, said the sexually immoral, deviant, and perverted creche “offends all those who always had respect and devotion for the Holy Family”.

The Pro-Vita & Famiglia (Pro-Life and Family) group called it “dangerous, as well as shameful and blasphemous”.

Pro-Vita, which launched an online petition calling on the bishop of Avellino to intervene, said the nativity scene contradicted the Church’s teachings on the family and legitimised same-sex parenting and surrogacy.

The petition has so far attracted more than 21,000 signatories.

Having children through surrogacy is illegal in Italy, and parliament is discussing a government-sponsored law that would also criminalise couples who resort to the practice by going abroad.

This week, a senator from Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy party proposed another bill that would prevent school directors from halting Catholic-themed activities such as Christmas plays or the making of nativity scenes.
