There has been one consistency of mankind throughout history

From the beginning, there has been one consistency of mankind throughout history. The very God — Father, Son, Holy Spirit — Who made them, made everything known, the seen and unseen isn’t enough. From Adam and Eve to the mass of human beings moving about the earth this moment, God isn’t enough.

It’s, “Nah, okay, sure, You made us, made everything, we’ll give you that, but we want more, we demand more.”

From turning from God, Who they walked with, communed with daily in the Garden, to listening to, being beguiled by our inherent selfish, ungodly, free will nature to obey the father of lies. Imagine that.

You can’t deny that Adam and Eve were believers in God, true children of God — yet they…

To individuals today putting the weight, time, focus of the faith within them in the here and now, in a man, a politician, a group, a pastor, a church, membership in a specific church or denomination, an organization, a movement, a cause — and I write this of those professing belief in the LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach, His declared disciples, professed children of God.

From every pagan Gentile culture, to Gentiles seemingly appearing tamed and changed by the Holy Bible and the LORD Jesus Christ, to those who sprang forth from Abraham [as every Gentile believer also has], to those from Isaac, and Jacob, to become God’s chosen people, the Jews.

All the same. No difference in God not being enough. Always demanding, searching for more. Placing more faith, focus, time in some person, some thing, some place here than on the eternal Triune God.

Never content, never satisfied, never enough to have God.

The one area where we’ve never failed to be consistent — our living as if God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are not enough to fulfill, satisfy us.

Wow.

Always searching, demanding something else, someone else. Of this world. Forsaking the reality of the eternal spiritual realm for the vaporous, fleeting passing to be forever forgotten illusion, what is believed to be reality — life on this temporary earth.

From every cultural change, every technological development, every exploration pushing humanity further afield populating the whole earth, to philosophies, ideologies, nations coming and vanishing, trends, beliefs, through all the timeline of world history of mankind there is only one true consistency.

That God is not sufficient, not enough for them. Even when professing to know Him, know His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach.

Wow. Imagine that.

More faith in flawed, sinful politicians, priests, pastors, philosophies, manmade religions, denominations, and institutions of man than in the God faith is professed in. Interesting and very sad, isn’t it?

And I constantly hear this denied. But, by our fruits we are known, right? If I’m in error here, please let me know, but I am to believe by our fruit we are known. Not merely by what we may say to defend ourselves when caught placing faith in a person here more than in the LORD Jesus Christ. Or in our making the nation we live in of greater importance than heaven, eternity, and what we’re told we ought to be doing while here.

If desiring to bless, have a heart for a specific country, focus on a particular nation here on earth, make it Israel. The one nation mentioned in the Holy Bible more than any other nation. The apple of God’s eye. You might not like that. Too bad. Try taking it up with God the Creator of you when you’re finally in front of Him. See how that goes for you.

I write this loving America, the nation I have been blessed to be born in. But I know all nations turn against Israel. I know Israel is the most important nation on earth. Ever. I know Israel is the center of the world. I know Jerusalem is its heart. I know that the LORD is going to sit on His throne in Jerusalem and rule the world from that place. Not Washington, D.C., or Mar-Lago, or Brussels, or London, or Dubai.

Going to be very interesting for all of us as we stand before the Great White Throne Judgment, were every individual who ever lived will be judged by our Creator, the LORD Jesus Christ.

Maybe, just a suggestion, while He continues to bless each of us with our next breath, our next heartbeat, we turn from our sinful, wicked, worldly, self-will, lost, foolish ways, from placing anyone on this earth, any place on this earth, higher than the LORD. And, please, do not say, “Not me, never me! Never, LORD!” Okay Peter…

The LORD knows.

Time to truly repent, folks.

In our acts, not in words alone.

For the time is short.

In such a time as these…

As you read this very brief piece from me ponder this — how many folks in America, in your town, in the world breathed their last in the time it took to read this. And they had refused the LORD, turned from the LORD, denied the LORD, fallen so far from the LORD it was nothing but darkness to them, for them.

Now it’s eternal darkness.

Are you desiring to join them? Or to live eternally where there is no need of the sun, as the LORD in His radiance provides all the light required. In heaven.

Hummm…up to you, friend, foe, dear ones.
