One area in this place that is underutilized is the links section. Found immediately to the right-hand side of the page, once an individual posting is selected and opened to be read.

A lot of links, a lot of potential bits of help. There in the hope of helping.

Today a new one has been added.

Doing a lot of good work. Bearing good fruit. Serving the Lord.

Mentoring incarcerated individuals seeking the Lord, working out their salvation.

This can be done, this mentoring, by a person desiring to serve the Lord as much or as little as that individual can. Time-wise. All able to be done safely.

Crossroads Prison Ministries provides answers to every and any question a person might have in considering pursuing becoming a Christian mentor. All the helps. All the information. All the experience.

An individual mentors without ever giving personal information. Other than their first name. Only their first name. And all correspondence goes through Crossroads offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan in case the thought entered — “I don’t want to have an incarcerated person know where I live, have my personal information, or my name.” Which is a natural inclination. Crossroads knows this and can mentor students in their walk with the Lord while maintaining privacy and safety for the mentors in the program.
