Our Special History With Israel | ArmstrongInstitute.org

While it appears that everything taking place on earth is all about us, self, the place we live, our jobs, our families, our governments, the truth is everything that is taking place all leads to a small slice of land, a city, a people at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea.

Israel. Jerusalem. The Jews. Like that truth, agree with it, or not.

Oh, yes, it certainly matters, a lot, what happens in your family, your own life, certainly. Very important. With regard to do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, lived, died, rose from the dead, and is One Individual in the Triune Godhead? Do you raise your children well in the foundations of the LORD and His word, or do you allow your children to rule? What do the leaders of your nation do? What job do you do? All very important, yes, yes, yes! But if able to walk away from your own reflection long enough to turn from yourself and see what is and what is to come regarding the center of the world — Israel, and its heart, the city of Jerusalem, and its people [see Romans 9, 10, and 11 for help in this].

Scattered worldwide. Disobedient. Pagan idol worshippers, godless many of them. So liberal they put the capital L in lost liberal.

But they remain God’s chosen people. Not His best, not better than anyone else. Just His chosen people. Because He’s God and He can choose and do whatever He desires. Because He’s God. And you actually imagine, believe that somehow you’re on equal footing with THE CREATOR of you, and all things known to contend with Him? Disagree with Him? Because…you are convinced in your mind that you can do better? Know better? Would be a better god?

Will an insect into existence. Will a tree to come into existence. Go on, you’re on par with God the Creator, right? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have the audacity to debate Him, deny Him, or believe He isn’t up to the job that you could do with your 20th and 21st century psychology and pagan ways. Create one star, let alone limitless ones. Create life and a man from dust and your own breath.

Pause now to conduct a reality check, an objective, honest survey within.

Within all the commotion, noise, babel, rabble, misdirection, delusion, all things, all roads to wisdom, understanding, and knowing lead to Israel.

Not to Rome, as the worldly saying goes.

You can rail, wail, and resist this truth. That would be akin to railing, wailing, and resisting the fact that you need breath in your lungs, food in your belly, and water traversing down your esophagus in order to live.

It’s all about God.

It’s all about the LORD Jesus Christ.

It’s all about the Holy Spirit.

It’s all about everything within the Holy Bible.

And, it’s all about Israel and these last of the last days and the fulfillment of Scripture. God’s Word. God’s promises. Which He never goes back on or fails to fulfill.

and I will be their God.”

“For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. 9 Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the LORD. “No! Jeremiah 31:35-37

Says the Lord your God.”
