The Scottish Goverment has announced its intention to impose lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender ideology across the curriculum in state schools.

The aim is that children will now be taught about “Lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender identities, issues and history” and school staff can undergo a course on the issue.

An online platform for pro-lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender school resources has been published to coincide with the move, managed by the controversial group, Time For Inclusive Education, on behalf of the Scottish Government.

‘Label’

For primary schools, the website has maths worksheets featuring scenarios with same-sex couples. The toolkit for secondary schools includes materials on lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender history month and lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender activists.

It comes as a book encouraging children to use “they” instead of “he” or “she” has been published for nine to eleven-year-olds.

Given to schools in Dumfries and Galloway, What Does Lesbian, Homosexual, Bisexual, and Transgender+ Mean? also claims that ‘male’ and ‘female’ are merely “a label” given to babies at birth based on the perception of medical staff.

Sacked

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Scottish teachers are concerned that they may be sacked if they question how their school deals with a child who says they are transgender.

The Scottish Catholic Education Service laid bare teachers’ increasing concern that their professional recognition could be withdrawn if they queried “processes and recommendations” regarding a pupil’s desire to be treated as if they were the opposite sex.

In August, new Holyrood guidance on transgender children in schools was criticised for promoting transgender ideology, eroding the rights of parents and using unreliable statistics.

First published in 2017, ‘Supporting Transgender Young People’ was created by lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender youth Scotland and was originally endorsed by the Scottish Government. It backtracked after The Christian Institute threatened legal action, warning the document was “incorrect”, “misleading and misguided”.
