Saw this headline today: Chicago’s Impending Hellscape Is A ‘Blueprint’ For the Left’s National Dreams

A CROOKED PATH

I read the news today, oh boy, about a major American city that has become a vortex of violence and crime. Not a surprise. This city is notorious and almost basks in its reputation for violence and the criminal element running things.

In my morning research, I came across an article written by a media outlet that charges for its full content and only gives people a morsel, a snippet of what the story is about without paying — and I’m not paying for their content. But I read enough, and know enough to get it.

It is clear the article is written from a purely left vs. right political viewpoint missing the point entirely.

The article begins with how Chicagoans sent former Mayor Lori Lightfoot a resounding message in ousting her, but how her replacement is no better. Wow. Big surprise. Especially at a time when those running for all offices in America would not have had any chance of election or appointment due to their lack of ability in decades past. Leadership quality at every level is sorely lacking.

But this will be short but perhaps not so sweet to any and all in darkness, be they a professed Christian who does not truly see nor understand, has not truly been regenerated from within by the Holy Spirit, and is operating on a worldly level, a nationalistic or political level in these last of the last days — while they proclaim to be doing the Lord’s work.

What has been and is taking place in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, New York, and many other American cities is not the work of leftist politics and leftist politicians, judges, and city halls. To define a place and everyone in it as something is ignorance. Blindness. And downright stupid. Let’s be honest and think critically, objectively about all these matters, finally, shall we?

I knew a person who was born in Chicago, loved Chicago and lived in Chicago. I do not know if she is still living there, as we have not been in communication for many years, but this woman was a born-again very conservative Christian woman. And a Chicagoan. How about some sense, some accuracy in our speech, our writing, our words? Without that, there will be no change that everyone is ranting, raving, and screaming about wanting while speaking, writing, and thinking like some trained bird with a set vocabulary of ingrained words and nothing more. Taught, indoctrinated in how to think, how to speak, how to write.

What is taking place in those places and every place in America in these times is not political in nature. It is not about political ideologies or philosophies. Yet almost to a person that is all I hear, read, and all I see almost everyone making everything all about.

Left this, right that, liberal this, conservative that. Rat a tat tat tit for tat!

On an endless loop player over and over and over and over and over…

Why is that?

Because I do not hear anyone, see anyone, or read anything written by anyone that speaks or writes as to the root cause of everything that occurs. Americans, no matter if politically inclined, registered to vote, apathetic, self-centered, highly involved in civic matters, a declared liberal, a declared conservative, a declared atheist, Christian, Jew or what have you — I do not see, read, or hear anyone pointing folks in the correct direction as to the how and why, to the what of it all.

And it is quite easy to see, to know, and acknowledge. Although resistance to such acknowledgment is among the most difficult things to overcome among men, women, and children. Almost all recoil and rebel against learning, accepting, and acknowledging the truth and reality while they allow themselves to absorb, accept, adopt, and accommodate every bit of errant distracting dung flung in their direction. It’s all snatched up and acknowledged. As if carved in stone. While ignoring those words and truths carved into eternity by the One True Living God.

To all those professed conservative Christians saying they are doing the Lord’s work as they make America and American politics and certain issues and politicians their priority over everything else, you then, logic would have it, rational thought would have it, if true, and who am I to doubt God working in some or many in such a manner, for if we know, if we are fluent and literate rather than illiterate in the Word of God, and we believe everything in His inerrant infallible unchangeable living Word then we know God has used myriad individuals throughout history to further His plan or to give the people what they deserve due to their sin, their rebellion, their turning from Him. God has ordained horrid and awful leaders throughout history to give the people what they deserve or to reveal His greater, better way and plan through others. The Holy Bible is full of examples. It is always best to go to these rather than to earthly examples. For in the Biblical examples, we can see and know it is God’s will at work. Wherein if we go to the earthly ones?

So, if we know, accept, and believe this why then when it comes to certain politicians, places, policies, and political ideologies do those very same people go deaf, dumb, and blind and stop at the feet of earthly American political ideology and go no further? Claiming everything is due to Democratic Party policy and leftists, liberals, and progressives?

Refusing in their utter deafness, blindness, and ignorance to see that if they are instruments of God to do His will? Why then does it not correspond that all those leftist ways, words, and philosophies were not born nor established in the American political arena — but in the workings of evil?

Are all Democrats evil? Certainly not.

But until and unless every individual comes to terms with, acknowledges, believes, accepts, and adopts the reality that EVERYTHING has at its source, its inception, its root either the seed of God’s righteousness or Satan’s wickedness and evil and everything emanates, grows, takes shape and grows from that there will be NO understanding. And individuals are instruments for either God’s ways, God’s truth, and righteousness, or they are used as instruments of the Adversary, the Enemy for his purposes to expand rebellion, wickedness, and unrighteousness. Period.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 

Ephesians 6:12-18

America, American political parties, American political ideologies, and how a person identifies themselves accordingly are meaningless. In this spiritual war.

This is how the Chruch grew from 12 disciples, to become 12 apostles, to the early converts and churches to how Christianity has grown through time.

This is the same for every evil thing to come along. This is the ongoing spiritual war. Within and surrounding every person throughout history. Now reduced to being political and primarily American in nature. Utter rubbish! How ignorant and blind can people be? ESPECIALLY those professing to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, true children of God rather than the children of disobedience, blindness, and the world!?

I realize I am like an old vinyl album with a deep scratch in it playing the same few notes over and over and over — but until and unless folks cease and desist with the Republican/Democrat, conservative/liberal, American political circus and nationalism and focus on, speak of, write of, keep in their hearts and minds it’s all about, only about God’s righteousness versus Satan’s wickedness, rebellion and evil. In everything. In every person. In this ongoing spiritual war. No matter who you may be. No matter where you may live.

There will be no understanding. No growth. No change.

Are we spreading the gospel as we are instructed to do? Being a light unto the world so those who see us do not see us, but see God the Father in us? Or do they only see a rabid, blind, consumed ignorant shallow political thing in America making American political matters their priority?

I read the news today, oh boy, about a nation lost and in rebellion against God, against the Word of God, in sin, and consumed in self and temporal matters, and those are only the professed Christians!

Satan, the Adversary, the Enemy, the Evil One has a “blueprint” for the people of this world. And tragically he has captivated, distracted, and ensnared many folks thinking they are “good people” as they spend most of their time with their worldview and making this temporary place their priority when they ought to be prone, listening to God, consumed in His Word, with His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Holding and having a Biblical view of and in EVERYTHING.

It is the ONLY way to really see. To really hear.

Otherwise…keep stumbling about in darkness, placing faith in a human system, in men and women, and see where that leads. Oh, that’s right — it has led all these years to the very place we now all are.

Imagine that…

Might not appear so, but all this is done out of a heart and mind of agape love. A hope of rescue from the snare of the world and its preoccupation to pause, be quiet, learn and listen, and believe and then live accordingly seeing the root of everything, the reason for everything, the how, why, what, and who of everything.

And it does not settle or reside in America, in American politics, or any American political party or politician or political ideology.
