“The Present” (a short VIDEO)

A short animated film by Jacob Frey

I realize at first cursory consideration the following might not appear apropos for this website. This is a Christian faith-based Biblical place. And in the following the Bible, Jesus Christ, and God are not mentioned or referenced. I sincerely hope anyone happening upon this page will consider things further. Think deeper. There is much here in this short animated video about love, mercy, being the good parent, being persistent, being loyal, being kind, GIVING THANKS, BEING THANKFUL IN ALL THINGSOVERCOMING — seeing past ourselves — discovering our first fleshly reaction might be wrong — dead wrong — and offering hope and chances to everyone in need — if only they eventually see and respond. And that frequently what we need most comes in ways we might not be expecting or understand at first. Often what is best for us, what we need most,  is not what we think is best for us, but what we come to learn is best for us from something small and outside our doing if only, if only, if only we would give opportunity to see! And everyone is in need. Whether they will admit it, see it, know it, or voice it. Everyone is in dire need. But each of us must see and respond when hope is placed before us and not look elsewhere, not be so quick to dismiss so we miss what could be the greatest gift we’ve ever received even though it may not appear as such upon first glance. I hope from this short little video which upon viewing appears so out of place in this place someone will come to see and know what is the greatest “present” available to them in this life to bring them true life, true living even though they may feel there is no hope or different course in their life.

Let the Light in. Let the Truth in. Let the Life in. Do not remain crippled sitting in the dark focused on some constant diversion. Let the joy of Life in while each of us can knowing how things appear is not the whole story. We must get up and seek the Light and Life and stop hiding.

This is a brutal, difficult, sin-filled corrupt world. Many things happen daily to beat us down, cause despair, grief, misunderstandings, concern and great stresses if we permit. But there is a hope, a way to true peace and true life. But we must seek it and embrace it and then LIVE IT DAILY! And that Life is through Jesus Christ. Through God. Through the daily reading and implementing of the Holy Bible in our daily lives. It is how the truly crippled rise up and walk to meet the light and engage in true life.

Thank you,
