A visible evil within. We are to respect the offices of authority established, ordained by God, and we are instructed to pray for those in positions of authority — but under no circumstances are we to remain silent or oblivious to those in authority who abuse their positions, who clearly, openly work continually for the forces of darkness — Satan, evil, and refuse to sincerely, truthfully acknowledge Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the inerrant Word of God. To discern wisely when they are great actors and actresses, massive hypocrites, and perhaps give lip service or the illusion of righteousness at times, but their actions speak louder, much louder than any of their words. Let us not mince our words or continue to pretend, hide, lie, or remain ignorant.

Every person either lives and works for, with and by the power of darkness, evil, Satan and this world, or they are truly transformed by the power of the Spirit of God and are true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and have His light, His truth, His being God, His death and resurrection, His all within them provided by the individual of the Holy Spirit.

Those are the only 2 kinds of people on this earth. No others exist.

Either those in darkness, slaves to sin, slaves to their master the devil and doing his bidding here on earth.

Or, those in the Light, knowing the Way, having learned the Truth, and finding Life in Him, the Lord Jesus Christ and the whole Word of God — renewed of mind and spirit.

And none should be deceived, nor afraid to acknowledge and speak the truth as to who is who, what is what by the deeds, the works, the lives, the words and actions of those we see, encounter, and those in positions of authority and our being able to know due to the technology available what those in various positions say and do. And we can clearly then judge according to their works, their words, whether they are in the darkness and consumed in evil, or if they are in the light and are truly Christ’s.

And there are no gray areas. No fifty-fifty, “well they do some good things and who are we to judge?”

We are exhorted to discern wisely everything whether it is of God or of this world.

To recognize what is wickedness, lies, and unrighteousness which is rooted in only one source — Satan.

Or to recognize what is holy, just, right in the sight of the Lord which is found in only one source — the Triune God! And to understand these matters there is but one source as well — the Word of God!

Do not be deceived or misled. Do not be lukewarm or otherwise taken by this world and its lies, deceptions, and philosophies.

Yes, pray for those in authority — but do not neglect to see them for what they truly are. Do not obey them if and when they go outside the foundations of what is right and acceptable in the sight of God.

The current Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States of America serves Satan and darkness. Evil. She does not bow to and serve Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit living in the Word, knowing the Word, abiding by and in the Word.

And we are to recognize this. Judge, DISCERN rightly and wisely dear ones.

And, yes, fervently, humbly submit to God and pray for these enslaved to Satan individuals that they would submit to God and turn from serving evil as they do.

And faithfully believe what we pray and ask of our God, our Father in heaven.

But also knowing the times, the days are going to grow much darker and evil is going to consume and mislead and destroy much more. The times are going to grow worse. And in great part due to the lack of faith, the lack of real prayer, the lack of obedience, the lack of bearing fruit of those professing to be the Lord’s and not being a light unto the world, the salt of the earth, and being true disciples keeping the darkness, the evil at bay.

Each person must look inwardly and be ruthlessly honest and objective. And there is no deceiving, lying to God even if we do so within our own minds regarding ourselves. We are all sinners and prone to deception and lies. Let us become more as we ought to be in Christ and less of the flesh and this world relying on the Holy Spirit, on the power of God, the power of Jesus to lead us faithfully through each moment of each day following the Lord’s way in these ever-increasing dark days.

Not expecting anything from any man or woman, an election, a nation — but if truly transformed by the power of the Spirit of God? Then knowing. Knowing what is what and what ought to be our priorities, where we keep our hearts, our minds, our eyes. On heaven and eternity. While keeping those same eyes, that same heart, that same mind clear, clean, and aware of all that surrounds us here in this present fleshly realm before being perfected by the Lord in heaven.

Pray for those in darkness. Pray for those in authority in darkness clearly serving evil and not righteousness.

There is great power in prayer and great consequences for failure to pray, failure to believe, failure to discern rightly and wisely when given the light and the way, and the ability through God to do so.

Several Republican congressmen accused Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of refusing to read the names of the servicemembers killed in Afghanistan during the ISIS-k attack last week. This is the same Pelosi who wore Kente cloth and kneeled for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in the Capitol Visitor Center to honor George Floyd, a criminal who resisted arrest and died in police custody. Pelosi’s action — or lack thereof, as this case may be — should be rebuked and condemned.

“We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation,” said Rep. Brian Mast of Florida. “They did not acknowledge us, and just closed the House down.”

“House Democrats just refused to recognize Republican veterans on the House Floor to read the names of our fallen service members in Afghanistan. That’s how far our nation has fallen,” tweeted Rep. Greg Steube of Florida.

“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week. Don’t you think our military deserves better?” tweeted Rep. Carlos Gimenez of Florida.

Opinions will vary as to whether Pelosi should have knelt for Floyd or honored him in any way. Critics contend doing so was a publicity stunt, especially because she did no such thing for Tony Timpa, who died under similar circumstances without a vast criminal record. Yet, her refusal even to read the names of soldiers defending our country is an egregious act of disrespect. Pelosi actively chose to honor a criminal yet chose silence when it came to honoring fallen military members. It is disgraceful.

Such criticism does not suggest Pelosi should have honored the military members who died in Afghanistan over Floyd. It is to suggest she could have done both. Yet, she chose not to. This should demonstrate to the entire country Pelosi only cares about people when they can benefit her.

Pelosi believes black lives matter. Someone should tell her that American troops’ lives matter just as much, if not more. Republicans in Congress should condemn Pelosi’s actions and issue a House resolution condemning Pelosi for blocking the names from being read.
