My prayer, this night…

Heavenly Father, Most High, Majestic Lord, Holiest of Holy God

I come before you this night in darkness

with the light of Your Son, Jesus the Lord, High Priest, King and Saviour aflame in my heart

while flames of rebellion burn into this night, and children of disobedience

burn with sin within…

a world, a people torn apart and asunder,

utterly lost in need of You their God

only they

walk in blindness not acknowledging You Mighty Lord as they ought

working iniquity

rather than working on seeking Your wisdom, Your grace, Your love

Your gentle ways of life for those who hear and heed

who follow bowing to You and Your Son, Jesus

teach us to number our days that we may truly

with rendered hearts open to Your instruction

get hearts of wisdom

knowing how to be the light of this world

the salt of this earth

O, heavenly Father

in this lost sinful land wherein we see the god of this world for a season

reaping his lies, confusion, mayhem, and rebellion enslaving so many!

I come humbly, faithfully of contrite yet bold heart and spirit

asking that You would pour out Your Spirit on this land

appearing now like the times and plagues of locusts in Joel

evil and sin, violence and lies consuming the people

who have turned from You!

Let those in darkness, confused and seeking rebellion

have their hearts and spirits pierced

and rather than setting things ablaze and tearing down

in rage

misdirection of their minds as to where the answer lies

so ensnared in their lies

let the refrain begin that all lives matter

and the droning distracting lies screamed and spit out

come to know in their hearts the truth, the only truth, Your Son, Jesus

and may we all come, not only the lost and rebellious children of disobedience

to understand and live according to Your Holy Word

as Your children, as disciples of Jesus Christ my Lord

I ask You in Your longsuffering and mercy

reveal through us, Your living ambassadors, the salt and light

as disciples of Your Son, as we are to be, need to be, must be at all times

never pausing in this mighty spiritual war engaged, aware

to be true peacemakers among the warring and seething

my prayer, in faith,

is to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit

to be that living example

of Christ living in me and me in Him

shine light into this darkness.

Not of our doing, but of our faith in You and Your infinite power of Spirit

and understanding, patience, hope, and love

forbearing our awful sins

let us repent

before Your patience is tried and Your wrath unleased further

let these sinful people be found worthy in Your sight of healing

if we sincerely repent!

I ask the hearts, minds, and spirits of these lost and diseased people in their soul’s

not only those in rebellion but those imagining vainly they know and are following the truth

which is only founded on shifting sands and lies

open those dark hearts, those cold dead hearts, and spirits

to Your Son

Your ways

Your Word

The life and light that is You, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit,

Let me drink of, eat of, live of Your life-giving water, shed blood of divine sacrifice,

flesh resurrected to Spirit,

and nourishment of my spirit

through Your living Word.

Growing closer to You each hour.

May we all come before You acknowledging our sin

rending our hearts in sincere repentance

not in appearance, but within the core of our hearts true repentance

for our sins, our disobedience, our losing our way and turning from You

Who never left us, it is we who left You!

Heal our sick and lost nation

Heal our sinful people

Heal the lying tongues that they come to seek Your truth and cease in their serving of the Evil One

to come unto the Son!

All things are possible through You, as You and Jesus created all there is by merely uttering

“Let there be…”

and all was and all things are possible to those who faithfully, unwavering believe!

I believe all things are possible to us who believe

Dear Father, pour out Your Spirit on me, on all true disciples of Your Son Jesus, pour out Your Spirit on this sad, in chaos fallen deeply into darkness people and land!

May we see this need, our hour of need, and know we must repent and ask Your forgiveness  in sincerity for our straying and sinfulness

I ask and may I abide humbly that Your will be done on earth

as it is in heaven

and I may keep my eyes on Jesus, on Your Word

and know all things are in Your hands

according to Your plan

In Wonderful, Lord of lords and King of kings Jesus’ name I pray this to You, the One True

Almighty God
