Mount Up With Wings As Eagles
Ken Pullen  –  copyright 2011
Scripture appears in Italics from the King James Version
Comfort ye,
comfort ye my people,
saith the Lord.
As each day
becomes more trying
filled with chaos
eyes perhaps fill with tears
increase of our fears
seeking somewhere to hide
from what nears
while evil grows
as a choking weed
attempting to blot out all Light
growing violently, chaotic, confusing
to keep the Living Water
from reaching those parched
and thirsty
as the world turns its hatred
on Jerusalem
with dagger clenched in teeth
as this world repels itself
from the Truth
let your heart
not be troubled
nor afraid
prepare to run without growing weary
lift thine eyes and spirit
towards the throne
being fed with the Word of God
you, we, are not alone
Our God who is Creator
of all
everlasting to everlasting
more powerful, mighty, just, and magnificent
than any other being
knows
and will not fail
Comfort ye,
comfort ye my people,
saith the Lord.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem,
and cry unto her,
that her warfare is accomplished,
that her iniquity is pardoned:
for she hath received
of the Lord’s hand
double for all her sins.
Do not become spent
on the travails of today
place your mind and heart
on He who was heaven sent
Yeshua, the Son
He who knows all
will return before all is lost
even though we tremble
at times at the cost
do not become weary
nor let your heart or spirit sink
even if the dawn arrives
with smoke filled skies
blood stained cobblestone
fear and emptiness in the eyes
encountered
leading you to think we are on the brink
God knows
and shall not fail us
everlasting to everlasting
The voice of him
that crieth in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
make straight in the desert a highway
for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted,
and every mountain and hill
shall be made low:
and the crooked shall be made straight,
and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the Lord
shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
We can not
should not mourn
lament
for the destruction coming
as a result of sin
disbelief
nor should we worry or tremble
for this unfolding of prophesy
will finally bring relief
justice, order
with Christ the Savior
the Living God
alive within our hearts
alive
asking to be filled to the uppermost
of His Spirit
for the world must pay the price
for their vice
their refusal to heed the Truth
denying
soon to be heard worldwide
such painful crying
yet
we
can not
should not
lament
since it is they that took God’s love
mercy, grace, and gift
and as the temple veil
have rent
The voice said,
Cry.
And he said,
What shall I cry?
All flesh is grass,
and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth:
because the Spirit of the Lord
bloweth upon it:
surely the people is grass.
The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
As we now enter
this
time of great woe
such as this world has never seen
seen, approaching ever closer
closer
closer
its dark hand about to knock upon the door
even though so many in this world
ignore
the knock of Yeshua upon their heart
and we know of the pain
lies
destruction
double cross to come
O woe Israel!
Our heart and spirit does cry for thee
We must take comfort
in our faith and knowledge
of the Living Word
of our God
knowing
no matter how much tribulation
or travail rains
reigns
down upon us
our beloved Israel
will prevail
the Lord’s word
is true
and stands forever and forever
so let us rejoice
in the knowledge
that through the smoke
gristle, pain, screams of torture
the evil rape of man’s soul
through all this
blight
the might
of God
and His True Living Word
we must keep our hearts
eyes
minds and spirits on
taking great delight
for we know the ending
and where the righteous
where the unrighteous
will be rising
or descending
O Zion, that bringest good tidings,
get thee up into the high mountains;
O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings,
lift up thy voice with strength;
lift it up,
be not afraid;
say unto the cities of Judah,
Behold your God!
Behold,
the Lord God will come
with strong hand,
and His arm shall rule for Him:
behold His reward is with Him,
and His work before Him.
He shall feed His flock like a shepherd:
He shall gather the lambs with His arm,
and carry them in His bosom,
and shall gently lead those that are with young.
Such affliction
our self addiction
placing ego
as our protection
shielding
true
affection
misplacing our desire
on things of this world
elevating men to high esteem
believing they can mold this evil world
while disbelieving God’s True Living Word
pursuit of vanity
pursuit of the absurd
this fleeting, passing, vain
world is similar to a dream
for if you have more friends than you can count
a home overflowing with love
or
if solitary
alone
wherever you might roam
feeling love here cannot ever be found
do not take for granted
nor despair
for if you believe in the Father
and His Living abiding Word
if you believe upon the Son
no matter the countless friends
or home overflowing with love
the sadness
solitary
alone
no person to place your love
know in your heart
there is infinite, limitless
life giving love flowing
from above
to keep you
never alone
never alone
never alone
such affliction
our addiction
to self
thinking what we build
we have
we make
we seek
is of such value
placing our time and thought
upon
that we bought
all we sought
all for naught
for all the nations are but dust
and nothing before the Lord our God
so besides where your heart lies
where you place your eyes
what you hold and believe
within your mind and spirit
if the nations are nothing
and but mere dust
how can we think ourselves
what we do
think we accomplish
so important
so real
why do we cherish this temporal realm
where upon when Yeshua
returns
and the final chapter of the book is closed
all we know
have known
could know
shall melt away and be no more
as shall all memory fade
whatever of this life we might have made
for all that truly counts
is where we place the Lord
in our lives
what we think
or do
or have
means nothing
what we are
what we believe
how we live as a revelation
of those things is all that truly matters
for even every nation
is counted to Him less than nothing
nothing and vanity
yet we persist in our insanity
thinking our daily lives
what we are
who we know
where we live
so vital
while the vital signs of life
lived in worship of the Lord
are barely a blip
as into the frenzy of this world
we slip
Who hath measured the waters
in the hollow of His hand,
and meted out heaven
with the span,
and comprehended the dust of the earth
in a measure
and weighed the mountains in scales,
and the hills in a balance?
Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord,
or being His counsellor
hath taught Him?
With whom took He counsel,
and who instructed Him,
and taught Him in the path of judgment,
and taught Him knowledge,
and shewed to Him the way of understanding?
Behold,
the nations are as a drop of a bucket,
and are counted as the small dust of the balance:
behold,
He taketh up the isles
as a very little thing.
And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn,
nor the beasts thereof
sufficient for a burnt offering.
All nations
before Him are as nothing;
and they are counted to Him
less than nothing, and vanity.
To whom then will ye liken God?
or what likeness will ye compare unto Him?
The workman melteth
a graven image,
and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold,
and castesth silver chains.
He that is so impoverished
that he hath no oblation
chooseth a tree that will not rot;
he seeketh unto him
a cunning workman to prepare a graven image,
that shall not be moved.
Have ye not known?
have ye not heard?
hath it not been told you from the beginning?
have ye not understood
from the foundations of the earth?
It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth,
and the inhabitants thereof
are as grasshoppers;
that stretcheth out of the heavens
as a curtain,
and spreadeth them out as a tent
to dwell in.
That bringeth the princes to nothing;
He maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
Yea,
they shall not be planted;
yea,
they shall not be sown;
yea,
their stock shall not take root in the earth:
and He shall also blow upon them,
and they shall wither,
and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
“To whom then will ye liken Me,
or shall I be equal?”
saith the Holy One.
Do not tuck your love away
upon a shelf
constricting
living within your self
do not live in fear
or doubt
neither fill your heart or mind
with worry
do not constantly have your feet
set in motion to scurry
to and fro
keeping so busy
it would make a spinning top dizzy
faster
faster
faster
falling prey to what they say
regarding
knowledge they think they discover
cling to
being the answer
for as knowledge increases
understanding and wisdom lesson
never learning our lesson
acquisition our obsession
seeking the knowledge of men
rather than the wisdom and understanding
of the One True Living God
consumed of this earth
here
placing your worth
do not follow the false teachers aplenty
causing such a dearth
of true faith
followers of Christ the Lord
and the Living God walking over the entire face
of this earth
take comfort
O take comfort
all
and open your eyes
open your ears
see the signs
heed the call
Comfort ye,
comfort ye,
my people,
saith the Lord.
Lift up your eyes on high,
and behold Who hath created these things,
that bringeth out their host by number:
He calleth them all by names
by the greatness of His might,
for that He is strong in power;
not one faileth.
Why sayest thou,
O Jacob,
and speakest,
O Israel,
My way is hid from the Lord,
and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Hast thou not known?
hast thou not heard,
that the everlasting God,
the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not,
neither is weary?
there is no searching of His understanding.
He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might
He increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk,
and not faint.
Comfort ye,
comfort ye My people,
saith your God.
