It isn’t magic

It isn’t about something magical happening, a potion, something expected from watching too many movies or living in the 20th and 21st centuries of this ignorant, lost, scattered, confused, grasping, and gasping world…

…being a true Christian.

Life does not become easier in the sense some, or perhaps even most are expecting life to become if truly submitting, committing one’s life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible provides any person desiring to know reality many examples of what it truly means to be one of God’s people, one of the Lord’s true disciples.

While there is always, our ought to be, it does ebb and rise at times being human, still in the flesh in this constant, no breaks occurring spiritual warfare we’re all involved in. The war between flesh and spirit. Godly righteousness and evil. There is a perpetual, eternal flame of joy and peace in the heart, spirit, and soul of a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter the trials, travails, temptations, or tribulations they may be going through.

The outward appearance does not always belie the inward joy and peace.

Anger, coveting, frustration, every aspect of human nature still exists as we still exist as human beings in this fleshly realm. But it is what we do about it all when it arises that makes the difference.

First, let me to very clear about one very important thing.

I have never been angry with God. Ever. About anything. At any time. I do not blame God. I do not go to God as if He is an adversary, an individual causing me pain or problems. If I experience any pain or problems in my life they are self-induced. Let’s be honest, shall we? And God does allow or give us certain trials to go through to hone us, refine us, strengthen us, and guide us — but we are not toys, nor puppets on strings. And who would truly dare to be angry with God about anything?

Seriously.

If ever becoming angry with God it is time instantly to pause, become still and quiet, to turn to the Lord and ask forgiveness and guidance. Repent.

There is nothing, NOTHING that can happen to anyone at any time that permits becoming angry with God. I knew a woman years ago, we were friends for a while, who lost both of her children. Her daughter was a drug addict who was also a prostitute, and her son died of an illness. This woman blamed God and was forever angry with God for the free will decision her daughter made, and for the illness which invaded her son’s body and took him from this earth. She ended our friendship as she became very upset with me for my faith in God, in Christ, in the Holy Bible.

Too many people like her. I continue to pray for her all these years later. Not daily, but I do put her in my mind at times and take my petition to God in heaven regarding her spiritual healing and well-being. Extra difficult since she is an American Jew adamantly refusing to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, or that God is not a God of only wrath and condemnation, not playing with us as if we are game pieces on a game board.

Which far too many people view God in such a manner.

Yes, I know there are examples in the Holy Bible of prophets, and individuals becoming angry with God. To show us the result of such attitudes and behaviours.

Who are we to confront God Almighty, our Creator, our Father if a true Christian with our foolish anger towards Him? His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways not our ways — so why go to God with demands and attitudes, beliefs as if He is like us, thinks like us, is toying with us, does things to anger us?

Don’t be ridiculous and waste precious time in anger. Not towards God, especially, and not towards anyone. It is a bitter pill that does not heal the body and mind, the soul or spirit, but works the exact opposite of a pill to heal.

No magic wands, or potions, do this and everything will be blissful, and wonderful, and no problems will ever occur again in your life if a true Christian!

The exact opposite. Satan spends more time, more effort, and more energy with true Christians than he ever has or does with people in strip clubs, bars, casinos, thieves, corrupt politicians, and the truly lost in darkness who are darkness. He knows he has them so why focus unnecessary time and attention on them?

No, focus on the one who has come to know and believe that Jesus is Christ. That Jesus is the only way to heaven and eternal life. Focus on the one who has turned from him and turned to God.

The important thing? Temptations come. Daily. Continually. But unless they are acted upon, exercised, or brought to fruition they are only the spiritual war taking place between flesh and spirit.

It is the giving into the temptation that matters.

Making what was thought, desired, tempted to do, to say reality, and out in the open and thus bearing bad fruit rather than good fruit. Being no different than someone enslaved to the world and Satan, since following Satan’s urges and tempting would prevail and win out over obeying the Lord.

Especially since knowing better, eh Christian?

It isn’t magic.

And while it may not be easy…

…it is also the easiest way to live.

Not contradictory. If experiencing it.

It is the ONLY WAY to live while here on earth in the flesh, which will be in contact battle of spirit versus flesh, what is good, right in the sight of God versus what the world lures and attempts to say i good and right, always lying and working to erode and pull one away from God, from the Lord, from the Holy Spirit, from the Word of God — the Truth.

It is the ONLY WAY to not only live here while in the fleshly realm since you’re born and here now, and will surely die as everyone does — it is the ONLY WAY to eternal life, to heaven, to God the Father and all that heaven will be and holds.

Forever.

Or face the alternative. Eternal damnation in the pit of eternally painful and torturous hell beyond anyone’s comprehension of just how horrific it is, and will be — forever and ever without end.

It isn’t magic. Magic is an illusion. Fleeting. A trick played on the mind. Magic is a lie. Of the world.

That which is from God, from the Lord Jesus Christ, from the Holy Spirit is Supernatural far surpassing anything any illusionist could ever offer. That which is from God, from the Lord Jesus Christ, from the Holy Spirit is real. And eternal. The realest thing that can be found anywhere on this earth. No tricks, no illusion, no lies.

The cost of admission is submission, faith, repentance, and thankfulness for the eternal salvation afforded by God Who came to earth as fully truly God, fully truly a man to be murdered on a cross, the tree of shame, for the sin of anyone who comes to believe, submit, repent and take Him as Lord and Saviour and they as His disciple every day of their life.
