It is clear. Could not be clearer. It is simple. Could not be simpler. And it is how it is. Reality. The facts. The truth.

Most people, the overwhelming majority, allow themselves to follow and serve a master who hates them, wants to confuse them, enslave them, and ultimately destroy them. Forever. Most folks serve and obey a created being who would never die for them, yet that created being, Satan, wants nothing more than to steal, lie, and deceive one of God’s creations, taking them to the lake of fire for eternity.

Conversely, there are far fewer who see and believe, who trust and obey, who repent and commit their lives to God Who came to earth, in flesh, blood, and bone, while being fully truly a man is fully truly God — Jesus the Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach. He Who came to this sin-filled, fallen world hurtling towards its end, as it has been known, and God Himself came knowing He had to Sacrifice Himself, to live, to feel and know all that every human being ever had, does, or will, while not sinning, ever, to give Himself up to death. Out of love. Out of total love for those He created and desires to be with Him for eternity.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Mark 10:45

All it takes is faith. Obedience. Repentance. And to live in His Word, to live out His Word.

Who is the real friend? He who desires nothing more than for you to die and be removed from peace, real life, eternal life, to follow him into the pit of hell — or He Who came to this world with the sole purpose of showing the way to real life, real peace, and eternal life BY LAYING DOWN HIS LIFE FOR YOU. FOR ME. FOR ANYONE WHO WOULD FAITHFULLY REPENT AND BELEIVE AND FOLLOW HIM.

That is freedom. That is REAL life. Not following rigid rules or legalism. What Satan has been telling folks has never changed since that day in the Garden, because Satan never will change from doing nothing but lying, deceiving people, and pulling them into the pit of hell — while they think they are so wise, so smart, so educated, so informed, so much better than those silly sheep following that Jesus and that book called a Bible.

Yet, almost all refuse this and desire to make the choice to believe, follow, and serve the one who wants nothing more for them than to die and spend eternity in hell. Wow. What a world, eh? And people are smart? Informed? Wise?

Hardly.

The overwhelming majority continue to refuse this clear, simple truth. Yet if they would only pause to actually go to, open and read The Book all about this, called a Holy Bible, instead of either imagining they know what is contained in that book — though never getting near enough one to open it, read it, and allow its words to work in their heart — or they curse The Book, they curse God, they deny Jesus, and revel in their rebellion imagining themselves wise, educated, knowledgeable they are, in truth, the simple fools, the lost, the ignorant, the ones destined for the fiery pit of hell. Forever.

Unless they repent. And turn to the LORD. And His Word and ways, words, and truth.

Serving Jesus, Who willingly died for them, instead of serving Satan, who would never die for them in 10,000,000,000 years, or more, and only wants them to die and go to hell.

That is how clear it all really is. That is how simple it all really is. That is what it’s all about, only about in the end — and while living here in this life day to day.

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Who do we serve?

And we all serve somebody.

Deny that all you want, but within the heart, within the soul, within the mind, within the spirit, you know that to be true. Thinking you’re serving self is in truth serving Satan, the most selfish, self-centered, deluded created being ever. As are those who allow their lives to be his. When they foolishly imagine they are their own.

We are all living in Biblical times. The very last of the last days. Days of deception. Days as those of Noah and Lot. Jesus can come at any moment, in the twinkling of an eye [see below]. Each of us is either truly born again, changed within in heart, mind, thinking, spirit, and our entire being, serving the LORD Jesus Christ, or we are not. The remainder serves Satan. Those pretending to be religious, those who go through the motions, not the contenders for the faith, but the pretenders. The overwhelming majority of human beings have always turned from God their Creator, turned from the truth, turned from Jesus, and turned from the Word of God and the truth. To live, supposedly, their own best lives, their lives their way.

The way of the world, which is ruled for a season by Satan and his ministers, may appear as angels of light, but they are the liars, the deceivers, the thieves, those who brought death to the world —God didn’t bring death to the world. Satan did.

So many permit demonic influences while pushing away, running away from the truth, true hope, true life, real life, real peace, and eternal life.

Most of what is occurring within everything, everywhere, in everyone is the escalating spiritual war that is increasing in intensity and visibility as the Day of the LORD grows closer. Demonic influences pervade within the so-called churches, those standing on stages, behind pulpits, in seminaries, Bible colleges, in government, in schools, in corporations, and in every institution. The days are perilous. Growing darker. Only going to become intently worse and worse. This is not pessimism. Do not subscribe to the worldly lie and delusion. No, if truly born again, rejoice in living in such a time as this and look with great expectation at the revealing of Bible prophecy and the coming of our LORD for us, before the Great Tribulation.

If not truly born again? Well, you are being guided, led about, directed, and deceived by demonic influences continually, daily, nightly, by almost everything in this world. At this point. Things in this life have greatly changed over the past 70, 80 years to the present. It’s all winding down, winding up. Entropy is the order of the disorder. The rapid decay. The removal of the foundations.

So many permit demonic influences while pushing away, running away from the truth, true hope, true life, real life, real peace, and eternal life.

Loving the lie.

Loving self more than anything else.

Loving this world more than anything else.

While God the Creator loved them more than anything else and had to come here to live, to know us, to be like us, to humbly submit Himself to death. To die for the sinful, wicked, lost us. To conquer death and reveal the promise of eternal life through God.

Yet most rebel. Deny. Wallow in the muck of lies and delusion, and serve one who would never ever offer them any hope, any help, anything other than eternal death.

What a world, eh?

What a people walking this earth daily, eh?

Imagining, believing in the lie and delusion of extraterrestrial life, but not in the truth and reality of the life that God can give them. If only, if only they would clearly, simply, truly believe and repent.

Wow, eh?

Because it is that clear, that simple, how it is.

Not according to me. No, thankfully I learned this is how it really is — according to God, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach, my Creator, my LORD, Friend, and Savior.

What, no, who, or Who do you believe and serve? And we all believe something, serve somebody. Stop kidding yourself otherwise.

…what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

How Fast Is a Twinkling of an Eye?

The phrase “in the twinkling of an eye” is a metaphor for something extremely fast, but its literal meaning depends on whether you mean the blink of an eye or the flicker of light across the eye.

1. Blinking of an eye (biological speed)
A human blink — the physical closure and reopening of the eyelid — typically lasts about 100–150 milliseconds (0.1–0.15 seconds) onelearning.blog+1. 2. Flicker of light (perceptual speed)
If you mean the “twinkle” as the light entering the eye, reflecting, and leaving — a photonic event — the time is much shorter. Light travels through the eye at nearly the speed of light, and the round trip from front to back of the eye is about 1 femtosecond (10⁻¹⁵ seconds) MonkeyWerx. This is the timescale Paul may have intended in 1 Corinthians 15:52, describing an instant so brief it cannot be measured.

3. Context and origin
The phrase comes from the New Testament, where “in the twinkling of an eye” describes an event so fast it’s beyond human comprehension onelearning.blog+1. In modern usage, it’s often used to mean something that happens almost instantly, even if not literally at light speed.

4. Real-world comparison

In summary:
