Sign of the Times…

Who are the true believers, the true transformed from within, renewed of mind and spirit born anew disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ versus the make-believers?

A sign of the times not only in great rifts and turmoil in what were considered Christian denominations over the issue of accepting, accommodating, and approving of homosexuality in the church, but also a sign of the times in that rather than a Biblical matter, a sound doctrine matter, what the Word of God clearly says on these matters churches today, and almost all media reporting on them only sees and thinks in the shortsightedness of everything is first and foremost political, cultural rather than spiritual.

Rather than say or write that there are those who know, believe, and abide in the unchangeable Word of God church leaders, congregants, and almost all those writing or speaking on these matters categorize them as conservative. Not being of sound Biblical doctrine.

We are reduced to the political and cultural rather than the spiritual, righteous, and doctrine according to God our Creator. Why permit this Christian? Why?

Easier? Because it’s what the overwhelming majority of people want and rather than stand boldly and firmly in the faith appeasement, weakness, and giving in is the answer?

Hardly.

The world has done more, Satan has done more than crept into the Church. He and his legions of ministers have broken through the line of defense — true believers of sound Biblical doctrine which is unchangeable no matter what the world may say, think, or attempt to dictate to them by using those professing to be Christian but are in all likelihood only make-believers to infiltrate churches and cause dissension. Strife. Bringing in lies and the world rather than edifying and restoring each other in sound doctrines and putting on, keeping on the full armour of God in this escalating spiritual war every person, especially every person in a church, and ESPECIALLY within and around every true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ where Satan and his ministers attack the greatest, hardest and most relentless in their attempt to cause doubt, fear, dissension, as they exist in the evil hope they can somehow break a disciple of the Lord’s and have that individual, or group of individuals abandon the faith and turn from God in such a manner as to accept, accommodate and approve of the evil Satan and his lying hordes have indoctrinated the people, far too many people, including those who declare themselves Christians.

All due to one subject matter. Permitting or not permitting homosexuality, the sin and abomination of homosexuality in the church, and to preach from the pulpit, and to approve of practicing homosexuals, the sexually immoral, sexually perverted, and deviant to be accepted as Christians, to be accepted to be married in the church, to be approved in having practicing homosexuals shepherd a congregation and preach to them.

Preach what?

For it certainly would not be the Word of God omitting nothing, adding nothing, changing nothing contained within.

These are the times in which we all live. Spiritual warfare on a worldwide level heretofore never witnessed. Even in this world’s darkest times in the past. Not if we truly take the time to see, hear, learn, and ponder what is taking place today;

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:4

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Hundreds more U.S. United Methodist congregations disaffiliate amid sexual immorality, sexual perversion and deviancy tensions

Another 250-plus United Methodist congregations have broken with the denomination in north Georgia amid a schism over theology and the role of sexually immoral, perverted & deviant people in the church.

The North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church voted Saturday to allow 261 congregations to break away, or disaffiliate, after theological tensions over bans on same-sex marriages and the ordination of clergy who are openly sexually immoral, perverted, and deviant.

The move has reportedly left about 440 churches remaining in the conference. The denomination said the exit of the congregations marked a “solemn day.”

So far 7,286 of about 30,000 United Methodist congregations – many in the U.S. south and Midwest – have received approval to disaffiliate from the denomination since 2019, according to an unofficial tally by the United Methodist News Service. That year, the United Methodist Church strengthened bans on same-sex marriage and clergy members with homosexual partners.

The denomination forbids the marriage or ordination of “self-avowed, practicing homosexuals”. But growing defiance against that exclusion has caused conservative-leaning congregations to leave after the church failed to find a path forward.

“I realize how sad this time is for many, including myself,” said bishop Robin Dease, the leader of the North Georgia Conference. “I just hate that those who are leaving us – I will not have the opportunity to meet or to be with [them].”

The departures will take effect at the end of the year, and the leaving churches will be barred from using the “United Methodist” brand in their new names and logos.

The latest break-away comes four years after a decision by the national United Methodist Church to allow extra time for thousands of congregations to depart after many of their leaders took issue with “a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals”.
