A CROOKED PATH

Evil, Satan, the Adversary, and every one of his enslaved minions, every one of his dedicated ministers have most so-called good people [ there is no such a person], so-called Christian people running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Without obeying the Head.

Acting as if they have lost their heads.

Thus blind, panicked, confused, and hopping about wildly, blindly hurtling toward their end.

Losing their heads to the axe of politics, culture, the words and doctrines of men and women rather than keeping in mind, holding in their hearts, why it is, Who it is, what, and where it is they claim to understand and know, believe, follow and serve and obey, and what that means and where their hearts and minds ought to truly reside. What ought to be the priority.

Rather than what transpires in this world.

Today I received an email from One Million Moms all in a lather, demanding a boycott, sign this petition! to protest the always been awful candy Skittles due to the Wrigley Company bowing to the sexually deviant, sexually perverted agenda.

This isn’t where our priorities ought to lie, our efforts be put.

And yes, when a chicken has its head loped off it can stand and continue to run around. I began my life on a small farm. We had chickens. My grandmother, on my mother’s side,  who came over on a ship from Europe as World War I was erupting, entered America via Ellis Island, and was the person wielding the axe, loping off the chicken’s heads.

As a child I was given the duty of plucking the feathers, from the chicken that had been kept from running around, that had been hung up to totally bleed out, then after all the blood drained out, being plunged into scalding water.

I ate free-range chicken long before it became a thing, and ridiculously priced. Along with eating organic free-range eggs.

So, yes, I know firsthand that chickens can and do run around without their heads…

Rather than spend so much time putting together boycotts, petitions, and effort in operating an organization focusing on every little thing that comes along that is corrupt, and perverted, perhaps some of those one million moms, and all those caught up in this worldly whirlwind deluded that boycotts and petitions are the solution — perhaps we all ought to be spending more time with our eyes, our faces, our minds, our hearts and spirits immersed in the Word of God. In fervent humble spiritual prayer. Spreading the gospel, which is Jesus Christ.

Perhaps that is a far better course of action, and remedy than the delusional political route, the putting together and organizing boycotts and petitions that are soon forgotten.

But the degree, dedication, and discipline we establish within the Word of God, in contending for the faith — rather than cultural and political power moves — within spreading the gospel, which is Jesus Christ, would achieve far more than any petition, any boycott, any political move or election outcome.

Think eternal rather than temporal.

Think and live eternally rather than be mired in worldly matters like a Wholly Mammoth trapped in a tar pit.

Like chickens with their heads cut off…

…rather than a light unto the world, wherein the Father is seen and glorified.

Like chickens with their heads cut off…

…rather than disciples of Christ living out the Word, bearing good spiritual fruit rather than the fruit of the world which rots, decays, and dissolves to be forever forgotten.

Skittles, The Wrigley Company, the Mars Company, Burger King, no establishment, company, organization, or institution on earth made for man or woman is greater, more powerful, or capable of removing the kingdom of God. Capable of superseding God.

God is Sovereign above all. In control of all. And it is the people who have been given over by God to their wicked, reprobate, unrighteous minds due to their adamant rebellion.

We now merely are living in such Biblical times.

And a petition, infinite petitions, a boycott, infinite boycotts are not going to alter the course this world is on.

There is no sanitizing the world and keeping children in a bubble. Hermetically sealed from the world and its evil, its influence. One million moms, one BILLION moms are not going to stop it, contain it, or alter it. No petition, boycott, election, or efforts by man or woman of their illusion of having the power of and by themselves in sheer number, in their political ideology, or a great number of registered voters aligned in ideologies, nor consumers alter the course this world is on.

This is nothing new.

It is why these words.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

And…

The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Deuteronomy 6:4b-9

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, and might — far above your love of a nation, a political ideology, anything of this world, ANYTHING of this world — and diligently teach children, always talking with them about the ways of God, of Jesus, what is within the Holy Bible. Building in them a great sound foundation, that if they are blessed to live into adulthood they have kept those precepts, gained spiritual understanding, and have turned solidly, firmly, resolutely to the Lord and have their names written in the Book of Life.

Something no petition, boycott, politician, worldly organization, or election can achieve.

Only spreading the gospel to individuals, in the hope and prayer an individual comes out from being darkness, and in darkness to the understanding and faith in the Lord, in the Holy Bible is what matters. And being responsible for raising children well, right, solidly, firmly, and resolutely in the Word of God. The whole inerrant infallible living and active Word of God.

Not about the wrapper on a package of candy.

What Burger King is doing.

Bud Light or any other company, corporation, or product.

The only product of concern ought to be the product a child becomes from their formative years in a true Christian home.

Sanitizers only last a while. It requires constant sanitizing to keep that which is unwanted and can be unhealthy away. Incasing in a bubble suffocates and there will be an eruption. Similar to that of a dormant volcano activated enough to erupt and release all that pent-up movement and churning that has been always going on beneath the visible surface.

Was a time I put great stock in petitions and boycotts. No longer. They are like putting a small temporary bandage on a gaping wound. Like removing the chewing gum from your mouth as you stand at the base of a dam cracked and about to burst, imagining that piece of gum if put in the crack will keep the dam from breaking and halt the resulting destruction.

Much better use of time and energy would be put into reading, studying, implementing, and living out the Word of God and in steadfast, faithful, humble, spiritual prayer sent up to God.

Wise up and focus. Prioritize!
