Forrest Gump Believers

Mamma always said,
“Stupid is as stupid does,”
ain’t that right
Forrest the professed believer
follower more of the great deceiver
than the known
the infallible
the True Word of God
denying what has been shown
through history
not remaining a mystery
what is written
throughout
all
of Scripture
yet
you
prefer
to adhere to yet another lie
life is not a box of chocolates
never knowing
what one will get inside
since
inside
is where most
rarely reside
neither do they abide
with the Word of God
the whole Living Word
at their side
rather
they hide
within the putrid darkened bowels
of worldly tradition and deception
their ignorance
blindness
refusal to heed
merely spreading the infection
picking at a flavor
they favor
selecting from the box
they place themselves in
as they repeat sin after sin
using ignorance as their excuse
though in ignorance
they cannot hide
Knowing this first,
that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,
And saying,
Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as [they were]
from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of,
that by the word of God the heavens were of old,
and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby
the world that then was,
being overflowed with water,
perished:
But the heavens and the earth,
which are now,
by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire
against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved,
be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come
as a thief in the night;
in the which the heavens
shall pass away
with a great noise,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[Seeing] then
[that] all these things shall be dissolved,
what manner [of persons] ought ye to be
in [all] holy conversation
and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,
wherein
the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we,
according to his promise,
look for new heavens and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore,
beloved,
seeing that ye look for such things,
be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace,
without spot,
and blameless.
And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation;
even as our beloved brother Paul
also according to the wisdom given unto him
hath written unto you;
As also in all [his] epistles,
speaking in them of these things;
in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
as [they do] also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction.
Ye therefore,
beloved,
seeing ye know [these things] before,
beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked,
fall from your own stedfastness.
But grow in grace,
and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Ignorance is not bliss
ignorance is…
just ignorance
without excuse
in these days
so many too busy
otherwise occupied by frivolity
profanity
worldly insanity
to heed
the history known
documentation shown
to reveal the abominations
blasphemies
while
they espouse they have no care
no time
no interest in
such truth
allowing instead the growth of sin
for there are only two paths in which to walk
no matter what one’s lips may talk
for their heart either serves the Lord
or it serves themselves
which is this world
which is Satan’s
life is not a box of chocolates
nor is it a Chinese restaurant menu
with its array of choices
contrary to the confusion
of the many voices
do not place blame upon the pace
of this present life
as men and women
have always felt the same pressures
same stresses
though now the myth has taken hold
we are so different
from those people in times of old
that lie was sold
and devoured
by every coward
fearing the truth
for
this is only a two lane race
which lane of track do you run upon?
Simple faith?
Yes,
indeed
accept
believe
is but the beginning
not the end
the acquisition of faith
is as being expelled from the womb
a place to begin this spiritual life
not the end
adopting faith is the sound of the starter’s gun
in this race we run
make no mistake
as you sit idle
gorging into the creamy fat of this world
and its ways, traditions, lies
abominations
adhering to the edicts of the church of Rome
even though you shout loudly
you have nothing to do with THEM!
yet
much of what you observe
was created by Rome
not God
even the day on which you claim
you worship
as your head bobs and weaves
and into sleep you slip
upon the pew
because the floor show this particular Sunday
just isn’t loud enough
to keep you awake
while the cunning snake
slithers and slides around the ankles
and hearts of the ensnared
for though you admit it not
there is constant war
being waged
for it is written
upon the page
of the Living True Book
of which it is clear
you pick and choose
like a Whitman’s Sampler
upon your lap
in between your next nap
stupid just is…
stupid just does…
faith is simple, yes
but there is more
much more
than mere grace
in this constant race
this ceaseless
war
of righteousness
versus
evil
and before the throne of God
each will have to give accounting
each will receive the just and perfect judgement
from the Lord’s perfect and just rod!
He answered and said unto them,
Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites,
as it is written,
This people honoureth me with [their] lips,
but their heart is far from me.
Howbeit in vain do they worship me,
teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God,
ye hold the tradition of men…  
and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them,
Full well ye reject the commandment of God,
that ye may keep your own tradition…
Making the word of God of none effect
through your tradition,
which ye have delivered:
and many such like things do ye.
And when he had called all the people [unto him],
he said unto them,
Hearken unto me every one [of you],
and understand:
There is nothing from without a man,
that entering into him can defile him:
but the things which come out of him,
those are they that defile the man.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
And when he was entered into the house from the people,
his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
And he saith unto them,
Are ye so without understanding also?
Do ye not perceive,
that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man,
[it] cannot defile him;
Because it entereth not into his heart,
but into the belly,
and goeth out into the draught,
purging all meats?
And he said,
That which cometh out of the man,
that defileth the man.
For from within,
out of the heart of men,
proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries,
fornications,
murders,
Thefts,
covetousness,
wickedness,
deceit,
lasciviousness,
an evil eye,
blasphemy,
pride,
foolishness:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
To have a lie
and follow a lie
does not then make it true
you want simple?
Do two wrongs make
right?
Then why do you refuse
to accept the simple truth
the lie of this world’s traditions
fueled by professed believers
partaking
in such tradition
is not the road to perdition?
To profess with the lips
one believes
and observes certain days
in their way
because that’s what they believe
does not mean
it is God’s way
of, from, within God’s Word
of, from the Holy Spirit
I feel confident
they who refuse to hear
to those who observe
the pagan blasphemies
offering up yet another lie upon the lie
remaining ignorant
to not heed
to not read
to not listen
believing their abominations are just all right with God above
because after all God is just about love
right?
There is no real judgement
no real sin
to them
and once saved always saved
no matter if one follows the world
the absurd
refuses the word
pays tribute to man
his tradition
his lies
rather than take the time
to discover the truth
and to God
His Word
Jesus the Lord
draw nigh
O so many seemingly walking
alive
yet they are dead before they ever die!
For the truth does not come into their eye
their heart
in this world
making excuses
for all their abuses of truth
serving man
with the dripping smeared gluttony
of sweet lies
falling from their lips
while Satan of the truth and their faith
he perverts
corrupts
and does strip!
For from grace all can fall
many have
more will
as they corrupt the call
replacing it with the comfort of man’s traditions
over God’s
and to those believing
falsely
once saved
always
saved
thinking grace
is all
when they are upon their face
lying prone
before the throne
the truth
will finally come
all too late
all too late
for they have chosen their fate
while here upon the earth
feasting upon the fatted golden calf
increasing the dearth
of truth
rutted
rotting
in their blasphemy
refusing to see
Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide [is] the gate,
and broad [is] the way,
that leadeth to destruction,
and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait [is] the gate,
and narrow [is] the way,
which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns,
or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree
that bringeth not forth good fruit
is hewn down,
and cast into the fire.

depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man,
which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house;
and it fell not:
for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man,
which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended,

and great was the fall of it.
And it came to pass,
when Jesus had ended these sayings,
the people were astonished at his doctrine:

just as Forrest Gump
your destination lies close
at hand
within your reach
yet
you
sit
idle
absorbed in self
upon the bench
refusing to stand up and walk
to learn
to grow
to heed
“I don’t really care”
you actually admit
as you sit
mired
wallowing in false teachings
compounding a lie
upon another
lie
with the truth
given to you
instruction given to you to seek it
live it
take it to heart
for the race you’ll run
with this professed new heart
new man
yet you refuse
so on that day
do not lament
if after judgement
your soul is not heaven sent
for it is what we do here
or refuse to do
who we serve
how we grow from what we observe
if we’re willing to take instruction
or if we’re complicit in the truth‘s abduction
which determines
if to God we’re near
or
if fear of all fears…
as we are prone before the throne
in all that glory
the end of our story
is God saying to us
“I don’t care”
you determined your will be done
upon the earth
in your life
for now
as you cannot look upon My face
at the end of this race
I
have
no place
for you
in paradise…
