Dash Them In Pieces

Scripture appears in Italics from the King James
Version

Why do the heathen rage,
and the people imagine
a vain thing?

Look around
listen
hear what’s going on
all around
barely a corner
quiet
tranquil
the words spill
the shards fly
enmity in almost
every eye
hear the sounds
of rage
growing
by the minute in this age

Can you deny
increasing
crescendo
clashing
reverberations
rippling through
all the nations?

Nothing but vain
pursuits
endeavors
worldwide
taking up time
in which to hide
thinking themselves
so cleaver
all people do
is pursue the vain
grow increasingly
insane

The kings of the earth
set themselves,
and the rulers
take counsel together,
against the Lord,
and against his anointed,
saying,
Let us break their bands
asunder,
and cast away their cords from
us.

Every effort made
most which is done
by the kings
rulers
of this temporal dimension
now
to war with the Lord
go against His Word
spit upon
every good thing
through the ages passed down
heard
according to God’s Word

Counsel
after
task force
upon committee
in every land
every city
working fervently
to tear asunder the
truth of the Lord’s Word
scoffing
mocking
laughing at those who believe
scorning us
as absurd

In their lawlessness
changing the laws
they
war against God
believer alike
with their lawless laws
driving a rusted spike
into the heart of truth
effectively breaking the bands
(bond)
throwing away
the interwoven
intertwined
as they seek their own
dark
lawless
warring against God
and the saints kind

He that sitteth
in the heavens
shall laugh:
the Lord shall have them
in derision.

What is that old
saying?
Ah, yes
He who laughs last
laughs best!

All the counsels
rulers
people
causing such division
living without vision
Almighty God
holds you in derision!
And He makes all
final decisions…

Then shall He
speak unto them
in His wrath,
and vex them
in His sore displeasure.

O how I treasure!
When the Living God!
Will unleash His wrath!
vexing all those
living to war against
God’s Word!
They are consumed
in task
to tread upon the Lord’s Ways
His Truth
such is their pleasure
coming though
soon
without measure
the full bore wrath
of Almighty God’s
displeasure!

Ah, what sweet
treasure
to mine ears
and heart!
As the Lord…says

Yet have I
set my King
upon My Holy hill
in Zion.
I will declare the decree:
the Lord hath said unto me,
Thou are My Son;
this day have I
begotten thee.
Ask of Me,
and I shall give Thee
the heathen
for Thine
inheritance,
and the uppermost parts
of the earth
for Thy possession.

The Lord
begat a Son
to rule as King
over
every one
every thing
such knowledge makes my
spirit sing!

O were it
so I could
be at the foot
of that Holy Hill
upon the day
the Lord does return!

Thou shalt break them
with a rod of iron;
Thou shalt
dash them in pieces
like a potter’s vessel.

Given the truth
handed succinct instruction
the kings refuse
to listen
the judges do pervert
and corrupt
not heeding
their vain words
and deeds
bleeding
corruptible blood
testing the incorruptible
to no avail
they shall be broken into pieces
dashed
torn asunder
crushed
by the truth
they deny
while they embrace the lie

Be wise now therefore,
O ye kings:
be instructed,
ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear,
and rejoice
with trembling.

Do any this day
serve the Lord
in fear
awe
respect
honor
rejoicing
to the point
their very bodies tremble?

The Lord
does shake within me so!

Kiss the Son,
lest He be angry,
and ye perish from the way,
when His wrath is kindled
but a little.
Blessed are all they
that put their trust in Him.

No other way
each and every day
no other way
to live
except to give of one’s self
complete trust in the Lord
Yeshua,
the Living Son!
Walking each day in the Light
of righteousness…
or else perish!

Blessed is the man
that walketh not
in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat
of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law
of the Lord;
and in His Law
doth he meditate
day and night.
And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers
of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit
in season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so:
but are like the chaff
which the wind driveth away.
Therefore
the ungodly shall not
stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation
of the righteous.
For the Lord knoweth
the way of the righteous:
but the way of the ungodly
shall perish.
