Scott Rennie, the subject of the article below is an ordained minister in the Church of Scotland. Read his words and tell me again how long this world has left.

While there have been homosexuals in the church, and in denominations until recently none of them had openly practiced their sexual deviancy and perversion. They never were ordained in the church if openly homosexual, and they never openly stated what Mr. Rennie says below.

Satan is in the church and speaking from the pulpits through evil men such as Mr. Rennie. A person cannot profess to love God while refusing to obey God and claim modern beliefs and the psychology of man, the current beliefs of lost, sinful man supersede the inerrant living Word of God.

These things have never happened in history before.

This is why it is clear to see if paying attention the time is short for this world and evil is consuming that which claims to be where God abides and where His Word is taught.

The Bible must give way? From the mouth of Satan to the ears that will hear such lies.

Mr. Rennie and every person such as him profess their faith in God with their foul tongue while all the while they serve Satan.

One cannot have their sexual immorality, sexual deviancy, their open sin, and abominations before the Lord, and have their eternal life as well.

Wouldn’t it be interesting to be the person in line behind Mr. Rennie on Judgment Day to hear what the Lord said to him with regard to living as he did, believing as he did, and saying the Bible must give way rather than the selfish evil lusts of men be abandoned in order to serve Him and be saved?

This is evidence of what is taught in seminaries and theology schools, and what is accepted in the so-called Christian church in these last of the last days.

This is evidence of things that have never happened in world history before becoming commonplace; the demise of the traditional family, the rise of and acceptance of false teachers and their unsound doctrines, the elevating and promotion of every sexual perversion and making them normal and good in the minds of men and women, the resurgence of paganism, the removal of liberties, the rise of worldwide fascism, the worship of the earth coinciding with the turning from God. And on and on.

So many asking for, demanding a sign to show them the end of the world is swiftly approaching and they refuse to look, to see, to believe all the signs right before them without having to search them out.

Church of Scotland Minister: “The Bible must give way to modern ideas on same-sex marriage” (Video)

An openly homosexual Church of Scotland Minister has claimed Scripture does not have the final word on sexual ethics.

On BBC Radio 4’s Sunday programme, Reverend Scott Rennie said that scriptural teaching against same-sex acts should be reinterpreted in the light of contemporary thinking.

Rennie was being challenged by fellow minister Revd Professor Andrew McGowan over the Kirk’s recent decision to allow ministers to conduct same-sex weddings in its churches.

Authority

Professor of Theology in the University of the Highlands and Islands Reverend McGowan said: “I don’t think we’re at liberty to make up our morality as we go along, because God has spoken by his Spirit through the Scriptures”.

He continued: “the Scriptures are very clear, that same-sex sexual acts are contrary to God’s will and sinful and therefore the church should not be promoting such”.

But Rennie responded: “It’s a disagreement about Scripture and its place and its connection with reason and the modern world”.

Reinterpreting Scripture

Dismissing the Professor’s argument that “the Holy Spirit cannot contradict what he’s already spoken through prophets and apostles”, Rennie claimed: “we learn things through psychology, through science, and we’ve got to read Scripture in that light”.

He protested: “I’m not suggesting we should just throw away the Scriptures and just conform to anything”.

But he added: “people’s understanding of human sexuality has developed, we’ve grown better, we know more, and so we read the Scriptures in that light”.

God’s clear Word

Revd McGowan is a Trustee of Covenant Fellowship Scotland which publicly described the General Assembly decision to allow Ministers to conduct same-sex weddings in its churches as both “unbiblical and sinful”.

“This decision contradicts everything the Bible has to say about the complementary nature of men and women, and of the character and purposes of marriage.

“Instead of following the clear and unambiguous teaching of God’s written word, the Bible, the Church of Scotland continues to follow popular opinion.”
