Vladimir Putin, on the left, looks like a man who has just pulled a prank on a naive, lost, totally clueless old man who doesn’t realize he’s just been pranked. That the old man had been had. That would be the President of the United States, Joe Biden, on the right. (photo caption provided by the administrator of A Crooked Path).

You know, while my focus and priority is my living pleasing and acceptable to God, in my faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, and striving to live as Biblical a life here on earth as I can in this constant war of the flesh versus the spirit, I can’t help but pay attention to what is happening around me. In my country. Around the world.

And I’ve been like this my whole life. I was told by many a person over the years I am an “intense” person. And I’ve always looked and observed and then thought about a lot of things. I thought everyone did this but as I lived on in years I realize this is not the case. And I wonder what exactly does transpire in the heads of a lot of people.

I do know, that over time, watching elections, seeing who wins, there have been times (I was in the first group of 18-year-olds given the right to vote in America back on July 1, 1971, as the 26th amendment was ratified on that day, and in the fall elections of 1971 I voted. And I’ve voted in every election since) when a lot of the people I voted for lost an election, and being human and allowing nonsense, misinformation, gossip, and such to enter my mind, along with my observing, I might come to the conclusion, “This guy is the worst president in my lifetime, perhaps of all-time!”

And then another election takes place and that guy from the earlier election? The new guy can make the former appear like Abraham Lincoln at times!

If you’ve been coming to this place for a length of time you’re aware that I was not, I am not a supporter of Barack Hussein Obama and from much of what he did, I concluded he was an awful president. Really bad for our nation due to his beliefs, or lack of them, and his policies implemented.

And I thought it probably couldn’t get much worse.

And then Joe Biden became president…

All I can write in conclusion is, I’m thankful frequently throughout each day to God that I came out of the darkness and into His light, His free grace, His love, His forgiveness, His salvation from faith and obedience in His Son, Jesus Christ, and I am of that remnant and no longer within the vast majority of the walking dead in utter darkness. Because while I pay attention to daily events, and I put many of those down here for others to read? I always, always, always know and keep in my mind and heart this spiritual war is temporary. This earth, all history as it has been known is passing and fleeting and the things of God, the matters of God, the life and words within God’s word, living a renewed of mind, transformed life by the power of the Spirit of God is what truly only matters — and I’m thankful. Repeatedly for God opening my eyes, my ears, my heart to that truth, that knowledge.

I pray for our leaders to do those things which are right in the sight of God. I pray they do less evil and do more righteousness.

But I also know and fully believe what is in the word of God. It all only going to get worse, and worse and worse. And if we think a certain politician, world reader, the person in power is terrible? Just wait. It’s going to get worse. A lot worse.

This is why we must place our eyes, our ears, our minds, our hearts — our lives on God, on Jesus, on the Holy Spirit, on all those things pertaining to heavenly matters and of God. Not of or about this world. Not worrying. No anxiety. No fear.

Oh, pay attention. Be vigilant. See and know the signs of the times. Do not be oblivious or deluded and in denial and refusing to pay attention as so many do — but know what is important and what is not. Also, know that God’s ways and mind are not our ways and mind and God knows best IN ALL THINGS and is at work. We might not understand. We might not even like it. But we are to humble ourselves. Be still. And place all our hope, all our trust, all our TRUE, important focus on God, on Jesus, on and with the Holy Spirit, on and within the word of God — over any and all things of this passing world, this corrupted, never going to improve, fallen, sin-filled world.

Biden Ignites Firestorm Over What He Told Putin On Cyberattacks: ‘One Of The Most Pathetic Moments’ In U.S. ‘Diplomatic History’

Democrat President Joe Biden ignited a firestorm on Wednesday over remarks that he made to Russian President Vladimir Putin in response to recent cyberattacks that have hamstrung critical U.S. infrastructure.

“Another area we spent a great deal of time on was cyber and cybersecurity,” Biden said. “I talked about the proposition that certain critical infrastructure should be off limits to attack — period — by cyber or any other means. I gave them a list, if I’m not mistaken — I don’t have it in front of me — 16 specific entities; 16 defined as critical infrastructure under U.S. policy, from the energy sector to our water systems.”

Biden’s remarks drew immediate scorn across the political spectrum for obvious reasons.

Rebeccah Heinrichs, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, wrote: “This is essentially inviting Putin to attack literally everything else.”

Conservative Noah Pollak responded to Biden’s remarks by writing on Twitter: “This is insane. This is one of the most pathetic moments in American diplomatic history.”

“I’m very confused about this. 16 entities that are ‘off-limits’ for attack, as opposed to others that aren’t?” Atlantic Council Director Benjamin Haddad wrote. “What does this mean?”

National Review Senior Writer David Harsanyi wrote: “Biggest loser today: the 17th most critical infrastructure entity in America.”

“So Putin’s cyber-pirates are free to attack anything else?” Mark Krikorian, Executive Director at the Center for Immigration Studies, wrote on Twitter.

“This is wild. Only 16 things?” Ruthless podcast host Comfortably Smug wrote on Twitter. “This is pathetic American surrender. Trump took away their pipeline. Biden gave it back and then surrendered everything but 16 things. American Decay.”

Political commentator Stephen Miller mocked Biden by writing the essence of what Biden told Putin, based on Biden’s own account of the interaction. “Whatever you do please do not attack these 16 critical pieces of US infrastructure,” Miller quipped. “Please.”

“16 things huh?” Fox News editor Cameron Cawthorne wrote. “I’m sure the former KGB agent won’t find loopholes to exploit here.”

“That’s like handing a list of your weak spots to the dude you’re about to box,” writer Brandon Morse tweeted. “This administration is a joke.”

“Wow, Biden is so generous,” Americans for Tax Reform analyst Andreas Hellmann wrote on Twitter. “Last month he gave Putin a pipeline, now a target list of critical infrastructure and a pair of sunglasses.”
