Abide

Scripture is in Italics from the King James Version
In the Lord put I my trust:
how say ye to my soul,
Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Did I create the mountains
do I command the sparrows of the fields?
Do I place trust in things
of this world
in men
where do we place our trust
not only in the troubling times
but times when the Lord
is not uppermost in mind
too busy to live in spirit?
Afraid to listen?
Get close near it?
Of this world,
or of heaven
when the thousands of thoughts enters?
Do you deny with words your belief
thinking you are a god, man is superior
while living in such manner?
Or do you fall down
fall period
living without fear of falling far
for always hearing Yeshua’s voice calling
ascending in spirit
mind mindful
heeding the calling
knowing there is but One God
in which to abide
never run from or hide
Lord, who shall abide
in Thy tabernacle?
who shall dwell in Thy holy hill?
Apostasy of Eve
apostasy of Adam
apostasy of Cain
the fall of man
the constant refrain
our continual thread of sin
soaked in saving blood
O, Yeshua, God come to vile earth in flesh
saving grace
the beginning of life
in Your arms
under Your wings will I abide!
Refrain from this world
unlike
those
saying one thing with their lips
yet righteousness
serving the Lord
ever slips
from The Fall of All Men
to present day
For, lo, the wicked bend their bow,
they make ready their arrow upon the string,
that they may privily shoot
at the upright in heart.
If
the foundations be destroyed,
what can the righteous do?
Invasion
not being evaded (evasive)
in truth
invaders
serenaded
for
it is the truth
which is
truly hated
righteousness abated
iniquity and evil
never satiated
the foundations crack, crumble
I can hear the thunder from the throne rumble!
The Lord is in His holy temple,
the Lord’s throne is in heaven:
His eyes behold,
His eyelids try,
the children of men.
The Lord trieth the righteous:
but the wicked and him that loveth violence
His soul hateth.
Some sit smug
upon their own throne
rarely, perchance never
falling prone
instead
pointing
proclaiming
shaming
saying
all manner of abomination
throughout every nation
elevating the words
works
of man
each one
none
would ever have breathed one breath
were it not for
the grace and will
of
the
One True Living God
Jehovah Elyon
Jehovah Shammah
Upon the wicked He shall rain
snares,
fire and brimstone,
and an horrible tempest:
this shall be the portion of their cup.
For
the righteous Lord loveth righteousness;
His countenance
doth behold the upright.
Days of confusion
constant illusion
even the professed
fail, fall in their unrest
serving Satan
at his behest
while on a false path
yet
so real leading towards death
shall there be one left righteous
upon Yeshua, Christ the Savior’s return?
In arrogant complacency
what have we learned
shrugging
saying pay no heed
to this or that
as they lie back
point their remotes
at the glowing screen
getting fat
making sure to show up on Sunday
get their attendance star
only to return to sniffing
after evil come Monday
Help, Lord;
for the godly man ceaseth;
for the faithful fail
from among the children of men.
They speak vanity every one with his neighbor:
with flattering lips
and with a double heart do they speak.
The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips,
and the tongue that speaketh
proud things:
Who have said,
With our tongue will we prevail;
our lips are our own:
who is lord over us?
So many empty words
full of evil
ever growing words
such a hurry
onslaught of falling faithful
see their vanity
all outward show
inward empty
closed
double minded
no where for the Spirit of the Lord
to go
for He will remove Himself if we grieve Him
for He will not settle into a heart
or spirit
which will not permit the touch of God
His presence near it
so many parading
as godly people
their true faith fading
in their perpetual seeking themselves
vehement
in
their discontent
in
truth thinking they are their own master
as
they serve up evil gruel in bucket fulls
splashing about
in
profane pretense
revealing abominations
causing
great offense
God cannot be heard
above
their self absorbed screams
from within their barren hearts
For the oppression of the poor,
for the sighing of the needy,
now
will I arise,
saith the Lord;
I will set him in safety
from him that puffeth at him.
The words of the Lord
are pure words:
as
silver tried in a furnace of earth,
purified
seven times.
Thou shalt keep them,
O Lord,
thou shalt preserve them from this generation
for ever.
The wicked walk on every side,
when the vilest men are exhalted.
He gives us
Life through death through life
eternal
renewed
in mind
new
in body
spirit
no where else in searching
can one find
life anywhere among the living
only One has such a gift
freely
giving
all
those seeking
so
many words
of
this world
of
man
smell
the reeking
stench
as
they deny
lie
bend
and twist
resist
the only truly true pure words known
in Scripture
from God
are shown
pure as light
words to set all things right
O Lord may I abide
with Thee
reveal Thy glory unto lowly me
may I lessen the weight
of
this rotting earthly walk
on
bended knees allow Thee to talk
knowing
my needs of my soul and spirit
while
the perversity
vanity
profanity
insanity
of man I shall not fear it
aware of all the putrid words in the air
thought spoken like honey
yet tasting of rancid flesh
always discerning
always yearning
each step learning
seeing the wicked on every side
as all vileness is elevated
because truth is so hated
O Lord who shall abide
who shall abide
from
Thy words I shall never hide
Thy grace and wisdom I shall wrap myself
in
which to abide
as
evil is busy on every side
O Lord
within Thee will I for ever abide
Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?
who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
No one can offer
a
place to abide
no one of this world
can provide assured place to reside
no one can offer any treasure
which can measure
the
love and mercy of the Lord
His crystal clear truth
silver purified in a furnace seven times
should
never be ignored
why even, ever
ponder
should I follow the words and ways of man
or
heed the words and ways of the Lord?
Such a scale to balance could
never weigh
nor
compare
for
all that is true
all
that truly matters
is
to abide within the Lord
and
walk alongside of Him
as He leads the way
each day
