Last of the last times…
There is a strong and great delusion in the world. A far greater, deeper, and troubling delusion than at any other time in world history. All a person needs to do is look around. Listen. Inhale deeply. That putrid, rancid scent, those constant sounds, what the eyes behold is proof.
The strong delusion permeates, saturates, weighs down, and pulls down drowning an individual, a group, or a nation into deathly darkness.
Because the individual, then the group, then the nation has turned to lies, deceptions, and strong delusion from their avoiding the truth, avoiding reality, avoiding the Word of God reaping the consequences of what they have sown, what they have believed, what they have forsaken to live lives of wickedness and unrighteousness. I write this of the overwhelming majority calling themselves Christians, calling themselves evangelicals — not having even the slightest knowledge of what it truly means to be Christian, to be evangelical.
None are good. None are innocent. None are born innocent. Oh, lost in lies and darkness professing Christian, professing evangelical, swept away in the strong delusions of Satan rather than God open and read, open and pray upon the Word of God! Believe the Word of God! Submit to and live the Word of God! All are conceived in sin, all are born in sin. None are innocent. All rebel and are at enmity with God. Yes, even all those adorable babies and children people cannot conceive, or begin to be objective about that none of them due to their innate sinful natures. None are good in the sight of God. From birth. Each adulthood proves this truth if anyone is paying attention.
None are good in the sight of God.
And that is the only sight that truly matters. Not how any person views matters. Why do you lower God or omit God, or attempt to alter God, or think you can replace God with yourself? Which is what you do in your disobedience and rebellion turning to the world’s lies and deceptions rather than the clear truth contained in the Word of God.
Search the Scriptures. Rather than searching the channels on your TV for something to watch, or spending time on social media. Loose that rectangular glowing screen from your hand and put a Bible in your hand. Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you the understanding, the wisdom, the knowledge within the Word of God needed. The meat, the spiritual nourishment required.

The Stong and Great Delusion. From Satan, the father of lies, delusion, destruction and death.
The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Man of Lawlessness
Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,a not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessnessb is revealed, the son of destruction,c who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. Stand Firm
But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruitsd to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

Then turn to and submit to God, turn to and commit to God’s Word. Perhaps as never before. Because living in denial, being deluded, putting faith in lies, and thus in the father of lies rather than humbly submitting to and believing God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the whole Word of God not only keeps one in darkness but leads one to the precipice of eternal death if we do not repent, confess our sin, humbly bow to God and become renewed of mind and spirit, truly born a new creature, transformed to serve the Lord and no longer serve this fallen world and he who has dominion here for a season — Satan.
And if believing we’re born innocent? You’re believing a lie and living in delusion.
Time to get matters right is short.
There is a lot less time now to do this than there was only a day ago.
How long will it take to make matters right within the individual spirit, soul, heart, mind, and thus the body?
For true health, for the truth, there is only one exercise, one steady diet, and one source — God’s Word. The Holy Bible. The Scriptures. Eat them, drink them, believe them, every jot and tittle and word, and live them!

65% of Evangelicals Believe We’re Born Innocent
Are We Born Innocent? Not if you know the Bible and believe the Word of God.

An identity crisis is ravaging the church in America. According to the 2022 results of Ligonier’s State of Theology survey, nearly two-thirds of professing evangelicals* believe that people are born innocent.
This survey result reflects a view of human identity that aligns more with American society than the Bible. God’s Word clearly teaches that all people are “by nature children of wrath” (Eph. 2:3). In other words, we are not sinners because we sin—rather, we sin because we are sinners.
We sat down with Ligonier Teaching Fellow Dr. Stephen Nichols to discuss the significance of these survey results. Listen as he explains the danger of not knowing the depth of our sin.
The fact that 65 percent of U.S. evangelicals believe that human beings are born in a state of innocence reveals that the biblical teaching of original sin is not embraced by most evangelicals. This truth is foundational for an accurate understanding of the gospel and of our absolute need for the grace of God in salvation. We hope the 2022 findings from Ligonier’s State of Theology survey will rouse Christians to serious and active discipleship, training God’s people to address the identity confusion of our day with the truth of Scripture.
* In this survey, “evangelicals” were defined by LifeWay Research as people who strongly agreed with the following four statements:
- The Bible is the highest authority for what I believe.
- It is very important for me personally to encourage non-Christians to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
- Jesus Christ’s death on the cross is the only sacrifice that could remove the penalty of my sin.
- Only those who trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior receive God’s free gift of eternal salvation.
