In his article following my preface, Mr. Snyder’s last line is;

“Now a time of global conflict is upon us, and many believe that 2024 will be the year when we finally pass the point of no return.”

He should know better as a Christian. Really, he should. We all passed the point of no return a while ago. It happened back in a Garden called Eden. When man and woman determined of their free will to disobey the one thing God commanded them not to do, they introduced pain, suffering, weeds, sin, and death into the world that had been Paradise created for them by God.

If you place your faith in a man, men, a woman, women, in yourself, in a world governmental system, in the laws of man and trust that if only this or that happens we can somehow save things? Woe to you my dear deluded friend. And you are sorely deluded. I am not being mean or insensitive. I care about where you place your faith. What is uppermost in your heart and mind?

Is it the things of this world? A person? People? Some philosophy, some ideology?

When it ought to be the Lord Jesus Christ, God as your Father [and He is not your Father if you are not one of His through faith and obedience in His Son], in the Holy Spirit and in the whole inerrant infallible living Holy Bible.

Are you going to allow your eternity to be determined by placing faith and obedience in a man, or a woman before that of faith and obedience to God?

Nothing ought to come before your relationship with the Lord. No one. Nothing. And if placing the Lord uppermost in faith, in obedience, in how you live I know from personal experience your world will improve. Even in tough times. Even in times of grief, pain, absence, trials, and temptations.

ESPECIALLY in all of the above.

We passed the point of no return a long, long time ago. And it isn’t about America. Please, get over that, past that already. Stop placing so much thought, consideration, hope, and faith in this nation and its government and people. None can save you. None can save this nation.

Only One can ever save. Only one ought to have the faith, hope, obedience, and love directed to them unlike anything else, anyone else on this earth. How? What? Who?

Jesus Christ. Having Him as Lord of your life.

Why?

Because of what He did for you and me, what the Lord Jesus Christ, what God did and does, what the Holy Spirit did and does. For you and me. If only you will…

Because your eternity is dependent on it. More than anything else that happens here. More than how anyone else impacts your life here.

It is time to stop thinking oneself so smart and wise. So aware. So together. So alright. So right. So good.

No one who rejects the Lord, rejects the Word of God thinking themselves so smart, that rejects the truth in the Word of God to gravitate to and adopt, accept, approve, and believe the constantly changing lies of this world will experience peace, true peace, joy, true joy, understanding, true understanding — or eternal life.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 3:36

I’ve heard many a sermon where the preacher says that Adam and Eve were so innocent in disobeying God and listening to Satan to eat of the forbidden fruit. Confusing the meaning of the words “their eyes were opened,” as if prior to disobeying God and eating of the Tree of Knowledge they were like people with a single-digit IQ. No mind of their own. No functioning brain. I don’t think so. I think they may not have had the knowledge and wisdom the Tree of Knowledge would give them, but they imagined themselves smart enough to disobey God and rather obey Satan.

Just as a young child, thought to be innocent, pure, oh-so-good is smart enough, cunning enough, willful enough to disobey and do what they desire rather than listen to what they were told they should not do.

We’re all well past the point of no return.

So, now what?

Think the fix is in someone here on Earth? In America? In an election, a politician, a bill in Congress? In money as security, in people?

Think again. For through the ages, men and women have thought so only to continue on the course set long ago.

There is no return.

Other than the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Other than an individual returning to the Lord having had come out from the darkness, actually being darkness, among the walking dead in sin to see and hear the Light, and Way, of Truth and Life — the Lord Jesus Christ. To be truly transformed, renewed of mind and spirit from within by the Supernatural power of the Spirit of God. The only way. The only way to the Father and eternal life.

Then what if unbelieving, if placing faith in self or a man, a woman and permitting them to keep you from the Lord, from salvation, from eternal life? And if it is a man or a woman, and you love them? Do you not want them to be spared the eternal pain and torment of the Lake of Fire, of eternal hell?

Some things to think about…eh?

If professing to be a believer, a child of God rather than a child of disobedience, the world, professing to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ where is your time spent, your priorities, the greatest filling of your heart and mind?

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The Great Tribulation

“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.

“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

The Coming of the Son of Man

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

No One Knows the Day or Hour

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant

“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

How is it someone professing to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, a true child of God, thus a Christian can write an article about all the catastrophes of the nation, or the world yet not mention God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible or the escalating spiritual war?

Could it be political aspirations, and having lost a previous election it is time to omit anything pertaining to God, to Christ, to the Holy Spirit, to the Holy Bible, or the raging spiritual war every person in America, every person on earth is enjoined in?

Sad. Tragic. Just dead wrong.

Our primary purpose is to serve the Lord. To spread the gospel, which is Jesus Christ.

We certainly need to keep our eyes open, our ears open, to be diligent watchmen and watchwomen on the wall. Being keen observers. Even reporters. Sounders of the signs of the times. Without hysteria and in so doing always direct everyone who could possibly be hearing our words, reading our words to the Lord. To the Holy Bible. To the only place of peace on earth. In the heart of the Lord Jesus Christ and His heart in us.

Why are people lonely? Desperate? Afraid? Hungry and thirsty?

Not mainly due to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.’s horrific policies that are tearing apart the foundations of America, continuing the work of his mentor, Barack Hussein Obama, who promised to foundationally change America — and so many failed to understand what that meant.

No, there is such a dearth of peace, of joy, of happiness, and a bounty of loneliness, despair, fear, loathing, violence, crime, and hatred due to one main thing and only one main thing — No Jesus Christ, no Holy Spirit, no One True Triune God, no knowing, believing, and living the Scriptures among the people.

A lost nation.

A dying nation.

Turned from God, from Jesus, from the Holy Spirit, from the Holy Bible doing whatever seems pleasing and acceptable in their own eyes. Anything goes. And it not only occurs, but it is now accepted, applauded, and approved by those who know better but choose to rebel against the truth [see Romans 1] and have been given over to their reprobate minds.

Oh, it’s going to get worse. Much, much worse. Read the Bible more than what passes for news. 2024 could become the most trying and difficult year yet. Why? Because the people refuse God, refuse the truth, refuse to humble themselves, to believe, to repent, to turn to God, turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, to repent and allow the Holy Spirit to work in them. To turn back to the whole inerrant infallible living Word of God rather than turning to everything under the sun which they do.

If waiting, trusting, and believing an election in 2024 will be the answer you are among the blind in utter darkness in this lost and dying nation. A people turned from God to their own pleasures, doing what they deem right in their own blindness imagining it to be enlightenment and sight, progress, believing what they choose rather than believing the whole inerrant infallible living Word of God.

The only peace, the only lasting [eternal] joy, the only truth, the only hope lies in an individual’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in God, in the Holy Spirit, in the Holy Bible, and not only believing, for Satan and the demons know and believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God — but they lack faith and obedience, repentance, submission, making Jesus Lord of their life.

Belief without humility, faith, repentance, and FAITH in obedient service and living is a void and hollow, selfishly determined belief. It is relativistic. False. Leading only to loneliness, desperation, and fear while putting on a veneer believing what lies beneath.

2024: Black Swan Event Coming?

Even The Mainstream Media Is Starting To Admit That The World Is Teetering On “The Brink” Of Complete And Utter Chaos

A “perfect storm” is raging all around us, and our world is so close to plunging into a complete and utter state of chaos that even the mainstream media is talking about it.  The past several years have been a time when multiple major wars have begun, pestilences have paralyzed the entire planet, the worst global food crisis in modern history has erupted, and we have been hit by a seemingly endless series of natural disasters.  But there is a growing consensus that even more difficult times are ahead of us.  During a roundtable discussion on “Face the Nation” on Sunday, CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge actually confessed that she is concerned that “2024 may be the year of a black swan event”…

CBS News’ “Face the Nation” held a roundtable on Christmas Eve, affording various talking heads an opportunity to make predictions for 2024. While most of the predictions were relatively banal, one among them stood out, prompting critics to puzzle over its possible significance.

Network correspondent Catherine Herridge, the wife of a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force, suggested that “2024 may be the year of a black swan event. This is a national security event with high impact that’s very hard to predict.”

I agree with her, but I don’t think that it will be just one “black swan event” that we will be facing.

Specifically, Herridge gave several reasons for why she felt the need to issue such a “dark” prediction…

Herridge told the other CBS News panelists Sunday there were a number of concerns that factored into her “dark” prediction, including that “this sort of enduring heightened threat level that we’re facing, the wars in Israel, also Ukraine, and we’re so divided in this country in ways that we haven’t seen before. And I think that just creates fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea and China and Iran.”

Hmmm…

It seems like I have heard all of this somewhere before.

I just can’t seem to put my finger on it…

Of course, she is right on target.

So much is going to happen during the new year that is about to start.

CNN is getting in on the act too.  The following comes from an article that they just posted entitled “How 2023 has been the ‘year of the brink’ and 2024 could be worse”…

It could have been immeasurably worse. But holding back from the brink in 2023 has simply deferred vast crises to 2024. The post-Covid world is exhausted, cash-strapped, but ultimately more fraught than for decades.

Overshadowing it all will be a flagging hyperpower, at best distracted with presidential elections, at worst tearing itself apart in voting disputes and political extremism.

The likelihood the United States will be occupied by its own traumas amplifies each risk. The geopolitical given of a U.S. response will be absent, fuelling authoritarian ambition, or a radical upending of the global order. 2024 could make 2023 seem rational and sober.

Very well said.

When CNN starts publishing articles that sound like they could have been written by me, that is clearly a sign that time is very short.

Just like Herridge, the author of the CNN article is also deeply concerned about the current state of the conflict in Ukraine…

Having spent two weeks around the frontlines, it is clear Kyiv faces an existential crisis in the coming winter. It will not survive without Western help. It cannot admit to the scale of challenges it faces without being dubbed by some U.S. Republicans a loser, unworthy of U.S. funding.

It is true.

Ukraine will not survive without Western assistance.

And even if funding is restored to previous levels, the Russians will continue to gain ground.

At some point, the government in Ukraine is going to become extremely desperate, and that is when things will start to get very “interesting” over there.

Meanwhile, the war in the Middle East just continues to heat up.

On Tuesday, the U.S. military conducted a series of strikes on Iranian-backed forces in Iraq…

At President Joe Biden’s direction, the U.S. military carried out the strikes in Iraq at 1:45 GMT, likely killing “a number of Kataib Hezbollah militants” and destroying multiple facilities used by the group, the U.S. military said.

“These strikes are intended to hold accountable those elements directly responsible for attacks on coalition forces in Iraq and Syria and degrade their ability to continue attacks. We will always protect our forces,” said General Michael Erik Kurilla, head of U.S. Central Command, in a statement.

A U.S. base in Iraq’s Erbil that houses U.S. forces came under attack from a one-way drone earlier on Monday, leading to the latest U.S. casualties.

Iranian-backed forces have already attacked U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria more than 100 times.

Whether the Biden administration is willing to publicly admit it or not, the truth is that the U.S. is already at war in the Middle East.

Could we soon be at war with China as well?

Chinese President Xi Jinping just issued quite an ominous statement about Taiwan…

President Xi Jinping vowed on Tuesday to resolutely prevent anyone from “splitting Taiwan from China in any way”, the official Xinhua news agency reported, a little more than two weeks before Taiwan elects a new leader.

China views democratically-governed Taiwan as its own territory, despite the strong objections of the government in Taipei, and has ramped up military and political pressure to assert its sovereignty claims.

The Chinese will not invade before the upcoming election in Taiwan.

And I don’t think that the Chinese will invade during the early months of 2024.

But an invasion is most definitely coming.

For years, I have been urging my readers to watch Russia, China and Israel.

Now a time of global conflict is upon us, and many believe that 2024 will be the year when we finally pass the point of no return.
