Who Is The Holy Spirit? — Continued

We as individual believers can not speak, write or have enough preachers soundly preaching about the PERSON of the Holy Spirit. In these times perhaps more than in some times past. I am going to take a few moments to add text here of my personal knowledge and experience of an INDIVIDUAL known as the Holy Spirit, the Third Person in the Triune God.
I know firsthand the power of the Spirit of God, and that Spirit being an individual person as we are taught in the Holy Bible.
I was raised in a fundamental Christian church. I was forced to attend from the age of five, when my parents became members of that church, until my later teens when I was able to work, save some money, and buy my own car. Which provided me the ability to flee from church whenever the whim struck, and it struck every Sunday after putting in my obligatory appearance in the morning and quickly leaving not to return for the additional two services on Sundays.
I eventually joined that church as a result of various circumstances in my life, as well as becoming enamored of a young woman who was a member of that church — and being as fundamental and legalistic as that church was there was no dating, period, and certainly no marriage between members and non-members, believers and non-believers — though I believed in Jesus. I believed in Jesus as the Christ, but I was not saved by that mere belief, that mere head knowledge without truly having my heart changed, having truly been regenerated — transformed — made into a new person by my faith, as well as obedience, transformed from within by the power of the Spirit of God.
Fast forward some thirty-five or so years and on one winter’s night I came to know the INDIVIDUAL PERSON of the Holy Spirit and have that Personage with His gifts and powers within the Triune God truly transform my heart and mind. Yes, through my bowing to, humbling myself, submitting and confessing my sin and great need for God and Christ, but it was and always is THE HOLY SPIRIT, the Comforter that Christ foretold of coming to this earth after He ascended, to fill those who truly believe, renew, regenerate, transform into new creatures — that the INDIVIDUAL of the Holy Spirit of the Triune God would be here on earth to help, lift up, comfort, instruct and guide every human individual seeking the Lord, seeking to serve, honor, praise and obey the Father, and the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
God the Father is in heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ is in heaven at the right hand of God. It is the Holy Spirit Who is now on this earth and available to any and every individual seeking forgiveness, seeking answers to the greatest questions of life, and seeking salvation. It is the Holy Spirit walking and talking with us as Jesus walked and talked among His disciples and the peoples of Judea and the Middle East around 2,000 years ago.

It is THAT Comforter, THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSON of the Holy Spirit in my heart, my mind, my spirit, my soul, my body that resonates, makes Himself known, that sensitizes me to sin, to what I ought to do, what I ought not to do — not in a legalistic or following the rules’ manner, but in a manner that if I have been forgiven and made holy if I am now a living temple where God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit reside I need to live to please Them. Serve Them. Honor Them. For what They have done to bring a condemned sinner from what would have been eternal darkness, eternal death into the Light, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, into eternal life.
It is the Holy Spirit residing within me that instructs and plucks the strings within the instrument of my heart and soul as to what is right and wrong. It is that Spirit that guides me, stirs within me, informs me when something I may begin to watch, to listen to, to read isn’t edifying, isn’t how I ought to fashion myself as a holy one chosen of God, as a true Christian, a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ ought to be in a certain place, associating with certain people, speaking or writing certain words, watching and or listening to certain television programs, films, and music. Reading certain books and written materials. How to fashion myself to continue in holy sanctification after being justified by my true faith alone, in Christ alone, having Christ sufficient, and living to make Christ preeminent in my life.
I fail daily. More times than I could possibly count or keep track of. I am still in this sinful flesh. In this world. But I now have the INDIVIDUAL PERSON of God on earth, the Holy Spirit, to help me. In all things. All things. All the time. To discern well as wisely. To even help me and to discern when I may not be bright enough, aware enough, discerning enough to help me with the power given to Him with my being a chosen person of God now. No longer darkness, no longer in darkness.
Yes, there is an INDIVIDUAL PERSON within the Triune God called and known as the Holy Spirit.
Any denier cannot thusly truly abide in God, in Christ, for to deny the Holy Spirit would be akin to proclaiming oneself alive while denying the need for a living, beating heart, or functioning brain!
Ponder this, consider deeply this — why is it that today and within the past few decades the mention, the preaching, the teaching, the sound doctrine that the Holy Spirit is a LIVING, ACTIVE, INDIVIDUAL PERSON within the Triune God has been absent? Not heard, spoken, read, or preached about as the Holy Spirit ought to be spoken of, understood, believed, read, and preached about!
I have read and listened to many people over many years write and speak of revival yet these same writers and or speakers, and especially preachers consistently fail to ever acknowledge the Holy Spirit!
It is the Holy Spirit that has made our salvation known and possible! It is the Holy Spirit working on earth that has made the Bible, God’s eternal Word possible. To be put into different languages. To overcome obstacles, fear, tyranny, and hatred spread throughout the world. It is the Holy Spirit that holds me, holds you if you are a true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, a true child of God from our falling away, our returning to the depths of darkness and sin!
Until and unless each individual comes to know and understand the INDIVIDUAL PERSON of the Holy Spirit of God that individual person of sinful flesh in this life cannot truly know God, cannot truly know Jesus, cannot truly discern and know the Word of God.
It is the Holy Spirit living within me that SENSITIZES me — not in a weak definition, as in overly sensitive, or thin-skinned, or unable to cope and must hide away being too sensitive — no, it is the Holy Spirit within me by the grace of God that SENSITIZES me to what sits well with my spirit and soul, what I ought to partake of, fashion myself by and what I ought to turn from, run from and not abide or permit in my life. Striving to continue to clean and keep holy the temple of God which each believer, each true believer truly is. The music we listen to, the TV programs and films we permit we watch, the books we read, the places we go, the people we associate with — we ought to know, we will know if attuned — when those things aren’t good, aren’t right, aren’t what we ought to allow in our lives. We can literally feel it within our hearts, our minds, and our spirits instructing us. THAT is the working of the Holy Spirit within us — because without Him we would permit ourselves anything and everything under the sun not heeding if those things hurt God our Father, hurt the Lord Jesus Christ Who sacrificed Himself for our sake, and grieve the Holy Spirit within us. We ought to be able to discern when we grieve the Holy Spirit. To be that attuned, that receptive, that far long on our walk with the Lord in our faith. That ought to be present even in the first day beginner in this new life, this new walk.
