To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Psalm 46

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (verses 10-11). There is nothing a true believer in the Lord our God ought to fear. Nothing. Not even the mountains falling into the sea, the earth removed and through the rage of the heathen, the unsaved Gentiles, the kingdoms of the earth moved, and by the voice of God the earth melts away. There is nothing we ought to fear.

We need to turn to God as our complete strength and Lord of our lives. No matter what storm rages in our life we ought not let the power of any storm move us, but we ought to move every powerful storm by the ever and even greater power of our God.

By being still. And being assured in our knowledge that our God will be exalted among all people, all nations, among the heathen – our God will be exalted and worshiped as thee only God, the Father of Jesus Christ the Lord, our Creator.

We need to be still so we can hear. We need to be still so we can see. Our constant movement makes clarity of hearing and seeing the will of God more difficult. Because we are paying attention to our movements, our place at the time rather than being still and clearly hearing and discerning the will and word of the Lord our God. It is far more difficult for a moving object to see and receive clearly than it is for an object at rest – in stillness. We need to be still and allow God to be the action, the active part within us, moving us in spirit, moving us to be pleasing and acceptable unto Him according to His word.

All of it.

ALL OF IT.

Not editing, not omitting, not refusing to believe ALL OF the Holy Bible, nor failing or refusing or making excuses as to why we cannot study, read, or learn ALL OF God’s word – not in some corrupted translation –  since all of Scripture is;

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3: 16-17

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46: 10
