Islamic Countries Buying Out U.N. Agencies

Advancing global Sharia.

Giulio Meotti warns in Israel National News that after the European Parliament, “the U.N. is easy prey. Funding has allowed Islamic countries to form the most powerful bloc in UNESCO.” Money equals power, and the U.N. is virtually being bought out by Islamic countries which are promoting the Sharia. Take, for instance, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism’s donor list: “Qatar and Saudi Arabia hold it tight with their dollars. It doesn’t matter that Qatar has donated 1.5 billion to Hamas, that in Syria Qatar has supported the Al Nusra terrorists, or that Qatar is accused by the parents of an American journalist assassinated by ISIS of ties to terrorism.” In normative Islam, terrorism does not include jihad by the sword. “Terrorism” refers to anything that opposes the imperative to impose Sharia, and is also routinely used as an accusation against dissidents to arbitrarily detain and jail them. The advance of Islam into the U.N. has been an insidious process of the stealth jihad, and the ongoing process of its buyout is being credulously aided by America, which gives the single largest annual donation to the U.N.

Beyond Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the advancement of Islamic countries into the U.N. has been steady. In 2018, OIC foreign ministers adopted a statement at the U.N., demanding respect for Islam. In kowtowing to such demands, Western governments render any insults to Islam forbidden, regardless of the freedom of expression. In  2020, the U.N. General Assembly adopted Pakistan’s anti-blasphemy resolution in the name of “intercultural dialogue.” Here we can see that if one offends Islam, then he or she is working contrary to “intercultural dialogue” and is deemed an enemy of unity, and even may be accused of spreading “hate.” A year later, Pakistan joined the OIC’s first-ever “International Day to Combat ‘Islamophobia.‘” Then last year, the United Nations designated March 15 as the “International Day to Combat ‘Islamophobia.’” Last year, the OIC was formally recognized as permanent observer at the U.N.

One can see the rapid tightening of relations between the UN and OIC, as Pakistan and the OIC worked to bring the U.N. in line with Sharia tenets. It didn’t (and doesn’t) matter that Pakistan is infamous for its cruel blasphemy laws, as well as its forced conversions and forced marriages of young Christian and Hindu girls. Pakistan called on the world to combat “Islamophobia” in 2016 and thereafter. Prior to that, remember that in 2011, Hillary Clinton, while Secretary of State, said that the State Department would coordinate with the OIC on legal ways to implement the U.N.’s resolution criminalizing “defamation of religion.” All over the West now, the “Islamophobia” subterfuge is entrenched; in fact, it formed the  foundations of cancel culture.

The partnership between the U.N. and the OIC was not developed and tightened overnight. It took years of insidious effort and manipulation, backed by money. In a recent development, it was announced that the U.K. Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade, Lord Johnson, “will lead a series of roundtables with the world’s leading Islamic banks to map out a path for the U.K. achieving its goal of becoming a global hotspot of Islamic finance.” The seed was planted for this in 2013 by David Cameron, who stated: “I want London to stand alongside Dubai as one of the great capitals of Islamic finance anywhere in the world.” In 2015, International Monetary Fund managing director Christine Lagarde hailed Islamic finance as a means to promote global financial stability.

It should come as no surprise that “Islamic dictatorships” are trying to buy U.N. agencies in their quest for a power advantage. In large part, they already have, and they will continue to succeed unless they are opposed. But that would require an awakening in the West. Recall that in the run-up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar (the world’s richest country per capita) pressured the U.N.’s International Labor Organization (ILO) not to investigate the country’s labor rights abuses, amidst its year-long campaign “of political maneuvering that helped turn the International Labor Organization (ILO), the United Nations workers’ rights watchdog, from critic to ally.” This included a $25 million Qatari contribution to the ILO. Also, according to Meotti, “Saudi Arabia donated 1 million to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the U.N. body for ‘dialogue between civilizations.’” Saudi Arabia also funds the Bridge Initiative at Georgetown University, under a banner of diversity and dialogue; anyone who criticizes Islam is demonized as an “Islamophobe.” The United Nations’ hostility toward Israel, influenced by the OIC, is also no secret; nor is the U.N.’s antagonism toward India on the territorial issues of Jammu and Kashmir.

Despite the U.S. being the largest single contributor to the U.N., handing out over $12 billion of hard-earned American taxpayer cash to the anti-American agency in 2021 alone, the U.S. is in the back seat at the U.N. Its presence means nothing other than that it is a source of funding.

The process of global Islamic growth and virtual takeover of the U.N. was started long ago, while the West sank into apathy, laziness, and established an anything-goes ethic, all while abandoning its history, culture, strength, and succumbing to the red-green axis with little resistance. The stealth jihad, backed up by the violent jihad, has not abated just because Ukraine, Communist China, and transgender activism dominate the headlines. It continues its maneuvering, rooted in the heart of Sharia, which is expansion and conquest, as is shown by a 1,400-year history.
