Hand of God

Known to the Lord my God

before

the

first

“Let there be…”

was spoken

Known to my Saviour, Lord, Jesus Christ

so

long

before

His

heart

was

broken

on that tree of shame

due to my sin

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

In the beginning

knitted

in

my mother’s womb

I was not only in darkness

I

was

darkness

even from the womb

ahh, those now grown so deceived

imagine newborns pure

forsaking the eternal truth of our Creator

no purity in the sinner

only One in all of history spotless

blameless

sinless

His Son, my Saviour, Lord

Friend

Jesus the Christ

From the beginning

stain of sin

within

could a child’s wailing

be more than pangs of hunger

thrust into this fallen world

from the comfort of the womb

innately knowing

that which they have entered

will be continually growing

in sin

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

Hand of God

voiced all there is to know

except for man’s rebellion

enmity

Paradise once made

utterly destroyed by human desire

since then human desire

hellbent on creating paradise!

O, irony of such tragic proportion

within the great deception

grand distortions!

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

Hand of God

to make all Creation know Him

worship Him

the trees, the birds, the bees

knowing the Creator greater

than blind men vainly imagining they can see

are the wiser

fallen man [woman of man] worshipping

that very creation which knows its Creator

more than they

who is truly the wiser?

A solitary tree bowing in God’s wind

or the vain and foolish man so educated as to be made deaf and blind?

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

Hand of God

ever so kind

forgiving

loving

merciful

to any

all

who come out from the darkness

from being darkness

to the Son

His Light

Truth

Way to Life

Hand of God

full of grace

freely given

to any who come to believe

ahh, more than that,

who are renewed of mind and spirit

to serve, follow, obey

fight the good fight

the remainder of their God-given days

Hand of God

touched the heart

of this wretch destined for eternal death

now that heart thankful daily

for the salvation afforded

such a sinner as me

with eyes that can now see

thankful, while grieving daily

God, Himself had to come to earth

suffer as He did in His taking flesh upon His form

for the unworthy likes of a sinner such as I

in my tears of joy for such sacrifice and salvation

there is tincture of sadness for what my foolish vanity

made my Lord endure

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

Hand of God

stills

makes all things well

keeps the true disciple of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ

from the eternal pit of fiery hell

ahh, what is that fragrant smell unknown to this corrupted earth!

The eternal aroma of faith from an individual

kept alive and continually growing

with ingredients of

service, obedience, dutiful daily continual depth of study in the Word

necessary nourishment

vital life-giving water to replenish

with the Holy Spirit’s savor

the saltiness required

poured into the heart of God

and every attribute Almighty Good and Great God eternally is

for it is the aroma of eternal life in heaven

a fragrance existing

unknown

while in still sinful flesh

to be inhaled eternally

when the Lord wills

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

Ahh, the mighty eternal Hand of God

if only the more among the lost and enslaved to Satan

would feel that most Holy touch of His Hand!

Why do they rebel to inhale the rot of death for eternity

when the free gift of grace

eternal life

the eternal aroma so sweet and eternal

can be had

shows how given over the febrile souls

clearly are in their utter darkness

O, thank you, Lord

for Your Mighty Loving Hands

Heart, Spirit

all Three of You

that knew me before the foundations of the world were set

to lift a sinful man destined for the pit of eternal damnation

into Your Light, Way, Truth, and Life!

Not enough time or words of thankfulness suffice

I will have an eternity in heaven, in eternal life

to give thanks and breath in the fragrant aroma of heaven

known only to those who faithfully believe and obey

each and every day

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God,

what is good

and

acceptable

and

perfect.

O Hand of God

so thankful am I for Your loving touch

upon a once cold dead heart

to Your Truth

Your Son

now my Saviour, Lord, and Friend!
