If you’re old enough to remember the epic screwball comedy film of 1963, with the same title as this piece I’m writing, and thought the world had gone bonkers, cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, whacky back in the 1960s with the instability, the massive cultural upheaval, riots, assassinations, and you’d never experienced anything like those times, the decade of the 60s, and the decade of the 70s are nothing — nothing — compared to the times in which you and I are alive.

No comparison.

And this has nothing to do with the movie.

This is reality. REAL LIFE. History. Unfolding. And it can’t be edited, erased, or shut off by pressing a spot on a remote.

Most are numb to the changes. Desensitized to everything happening. They really are. Because most are lost in the abyss of a darkness that can be felt, smelt, and is tangible to the point of holding them in its grasp, and they love it. They truly love it and abhor the light, the truth, reason, logic, critical thinking, objectivity, and, well, just downright thinking. Being truly aware and independent. Free.

Captives. Slaves. In chains of bondage. All going along.

Nothing seen can be believed at this point.

Nothing said by ANY politician, ANY government can be believed. Not cynicism. Just reality. Oh, there are some partial truths spoken by some politicians. About as many as can be counted on one hand, with a couple of digits missing. There’s about one government on earth that can be believed most of the time, well, some of the time. And it might not be the one you are a resident of.

Because, unlike a silly movie that was in theaters 63 years ago, it TRULY IS a mad, mad, mad, mad world today.

Time will tell as to who is telling the truth regarding the tragic “deal” made with the demonic terrorist death culture of Iran. Boy, back when that movie mentioned was in theaters, and well, even for many years after that? No Western nation would EVER negotiate with terrorists. Then we began not only talking with them, legitimizing them as if they were normal nations, people of sound mind that could be reasoned with and believed — we began flying the largest cargo planes in the world, jam-packed with pallets of American currency in them, by the billions and billions of American dollars to them. After they had murdered many Americans. Thousands worldwide. And their white-hot hatred and focus was the total destruction of Israel and the eradication of all Jews on earth. Now? Now we give them BILLIONS of American taxpayer dollars, so they can continue to wreak havoc, terrorism, and murder. When it’s done in some dark back room, in an alley, in a corporate office, or on the golf course, it’s called and known as a bribe. When governments do it, it’s called diplomacy.

Imagine that. Isn’t that funny?

Are you laughing?

Tell you what.

You go ahead and believe and trust Mr. Trump, Mr. Vance, and all those in the administration spouting off about peace and security in the Middle East, about THE GREAT DEAL, an end to war, peace, safety, and prosperity will now reign. You go ahead and place your faith and trust in those vain, foolish lost men and women. Boastful. Proud. Arrogant. So greatly deceived, as evidenced in their utter lack of knowledge of Islam, of Iran, of the Middle East, and as for me and my house? We will place all our faith and trust in the LORD and in His Word.

Which means it’s only going to get worse. And even worse still.

No, not being fearful, worried, having anxiety, doubts, being depressed, nor am I being pessimistic or negative, as the world likes to call everything that is real, and they don’t want to confront or think about.

Too bad.

Perhaps they, and everyone, ought to start spending more time, much more time with eyes, faces, hearts, minds, and spirits in God’s Word daily. Deeply. Believing.

Because the words of man and woman are vanity and foolishness, the world’s wisdom is folly and deceptive. A lie. Leading to destruction.

Peace? Safety? Security? Prosperity? An end of war in the Middle East?

If not such a lie, so tragic, the words of such deluded and lost men and women would be funnier than that hilarious comedy film from 1963, which I’ve watched no fewer than three times. The first time, you likely weren’t even born.

Only this is 2026. Not a movie. If alive and reading this, it’s time to truly wake up and come to terms with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the whole Holy Bible, and your eternity. Because you know there’s more to all of this than whoever ends up with the most stuff wins, you die, and it’s all over with. You know better than that deep within your soul. And if a professed believer, where’s the salt? The light? Living out the mission as a disciple of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach? All the hubbub gotta do this, gotta do that, I need a vacation, can wait. The pursuit of God cannot. No one is guaranteed another heartbeat. Time is of the essence. So many are lost, deceived, in utter darkness. And if you know? Well, time to share, brother, sister. Get salty! Shine on, shine on, let the light be bright in all this darkness. As the darkness now feels like being immersed in a large vat of melted dark chocolate, it’s so thick these days.

We’re in Biblical times. You do realize that, right? It isn’t over yet, but it’s getting very, very close to being over. We are living in the days of Noah and Lot. Time will tell regarding the so-called “deal.” Thing is, time is swiftly running out. Not whining. Not worried. Not fearful. Just stating the facts.

I see Mr. Trump has never gotten over not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Too bad he is more concerned about this world than his eternity. Too bad the overwhelming majority are the same.

Time will tell.

All.

The lies will be revealed.

Judgment is coming. As is the LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach, a Second and Final time.

Sadly, tragically, so, so many will fall into the eternal abyss. Needlessly, if only they would have placed their faith in God, in Jesus, in the Holy Spirit, if only they would have repented of their sin, been truly born again, and served the LORD faithfully rather than loving this world, the darkness, the delusions they told themselves and lived out until their eternal Second Death.

Oh, you’re still alive, right? So you CAN avoid such a fate. Humble oneself. Repent of sin. Seek the LORD. Turn to Him, truly, openly, and ask for forgiveness believing in Jesus as LORD, as LORD of your life, and do not fear the present, the future, or eternity, as you can be forgiven, no matter the degree or amount of sin. No matter who or what. Go to Jesus. Today. Do not hesitate or wait. It would be the greatest tragedy in the world if you did not make the move to ask Jesus to lift you up, forgive you, save you, and prepare a place for you in eternity with Him.

Or do you hate Him, hate God so much you will remain in rebellion and serving he who reigns over this world for a season? Because he hates you, he really, really does.

Talk about a mad, mad, mad, mad world — most hate God Who loves them, and they love this world and he who rules the air for a season, and he hates everyone. Isn’t that mad?

Most place their faith in a sitting president, in the country in which they live. Most merely go through the motions. Flaccid. Lukewarm. Pretending. And I write that regarding those professing to be Christians.

Most are truly of the world and not in the Word, living the Word.

It’s the truth. The woeful condition of “The Church” is evidence, if caring to look, see, hear, and know. Time is short, friends, doubters, rebellers, coasters, pretenders. Don’t waste another moment.

It truly is a mad, mad, mad, mad world. Lost. Eroding. And this isn’t a game, a movie, a dream.
