Our momentary loss is heaven’s gain. There is coming a time, after our heartache and sad refrain, through this earthly pain, we, too, will be heaven’s gain, if, only if faithful, obedient, to the Son, only if, if born again within, a good and faithful servant we sustain…
When our days are numbered out, or the Lord comes to gather us to Him, we will be face to face with our Savior, our Friend, our Lord, as Charlie is, as every faithful saint who served our Lord is forever…
And forever…
And forever…
Long enough to forget every earthly suffering, tear, and pain…
Rejoice, find joy in the tears, for our brief loss is heaven’s gain.
One day, if born anew of mind and heart, we, too, will come face to face with our Savior, our Friend, our Lord Jesus Christ, and face to face with those we loved and knew, likewise, born anew, and with those we loved and never met, but then, forever, will have occasion to know…
In the best of all possible places…
Heavenbound…
Forever…
And forever…[much longer than anything here, much longer than death, those who reject, refuse, rebel from the truth will endure, for we, just as Charlie, will not taste of the death so many dread and fear, our last breath here, will lead to our next inhalation in heaven with our Lord, for to be absent of the body is to be with Jesus in heaven — do you believe? I do].
Press on, rise up, lift up, engage! walk on, run the good race, faithful to the end…
…for that, my friends, dear brothers and sisters, is in truth just the beginning!
Listen on… [have those tissues handy, I have warned you]…
