What kind of Love is this?

What kind of love? Greater now than then…

“Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”

John 12:42-43

Loving the praise of men, in what passes for many a church professing to be established for their love of Jesus, and thankfulness for what the LORD did, is the norm, the established in times such as these. The last of the last days.

Hurts within the heart, the spirit to write that and acknowledge that fact. How can such a thing be written by someone professing to be a disciple of the LORD Jesus Christ? Judging? It’s called discernment. It’s called observing. It’s called watching, listening, and paying close attention. To words. All the subtle and not so subtle words. Where the emphasis the priorities are. And they are not uppermost on Jesus, but are uppermost on the things of this passing world. Placing faith in men and women. Being always busy, busy, busy with this event, that event, the next one — get on the committee! talk, talk, talk it all out, never talked out, because there’s always another committee, another meeting, another car wash, bake sale, car show, circus act, clowns, drag queens, false teachers, noise and babel to consume, take up the time.

Not overcoming in the times as we are instructed. But being overcome by the world, the love of the world, appeasing, compromising with the world.

Walk in the Light…

Who Has Believed Our Report?

But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:

“Lord, who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:

“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
Lest they should see with their eyes,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”

These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Walk in the Light

Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”

John 12:37-50

Do not become overcome by this passing world and all its distractions and noise. Being a part of the current Tower of Babel, still being built in hearts, minds, and lives by the ancestors of the original tower’s builders.

It’s all very real. The “It” being everything. Especially the spiritual realm, which is the most neglected among all peoples everywhere. Emphasis on the physical first, then the mental/emotional, and the spiritual — THEE MOST IMPORTANT PART of an individual is the most neglected, abused, ignored, and mistreated. Most, if aware, are taking the wrong path to nourish the spiritual part of their being.

They end up always still doing, seeking, searching, attempting to be satisfied.

Should tell folks something, don’t you think?

The praise of men and women is like the wind passing from you — on the other side of the world.

Real love clearly, boldly, kindly, firmly, gently, and directly speaks from God’s Word, trusting the Holy Spirit to provide the words, much easier to do when a person is Bible literate with some or much Bible frequency in their lives — to those walking in utter darkness, utterly lost, as well as providing in speaking to an individual professing faith that has backsliddin, gone astray, left the faith for the love of something in the world. To these we need to gently yet firmly and directly speak letting them know they need to find a quiet place, to think deeply, to prepare themselves to sit, stand, bow before the LORD and to search their hearts as to their being truly made into a new creature, if truly born from above, born again, or are they just going through the motions? Attending a church, giving the appearance of being secure and right with God while not yet submitting, believing, trusting, obeying, and being truly changed from within — born anew! Born from above.

This is real love shown to people.

Because we truly care about where the most important part of them will spend eternity.
