Vance calls Knesset vote on West Bank an ‘insult’ to Trump administration

How pompous, arrogant, and insulting of J.D. Vance to take the position he did and say what he did. Every president in America, every vice president, every member of their administrations, their special envoys, every member of Congress has the attitude that Israel is a puppet state of America, rather than a sovereign nation.

The so-called West Bank consists of JUDEA and SAMARIA. It is not “the West Bank.” And those who claim to be Christian politicians never refer to the land as Judea and Samaria, always, only “the West Bank,” to placate and appease the Arabs, the world.

Familiar with where Judea and Samaria are? The part those places play in Israeli, Jewish, Jesus, God, and the Holy Bible history?

Or do you contend you’re a modernist, a person of the world, and you don’t care about unchangeable history, what is in God’s inerrant, infallible, unchangeable, eternal, living, and active word?

West Bank Settlements Explained – Israel Policy Forum

It’s GOD’S LAND!

Not America’s place to dictate to Israel what to do with their own ancestral land.

Such an action will destroy the peace in the Middle East? WHAT PEACE?  There is no peace in the Middle East.

Hamas, Gazans are alaughtering each other brutally daily. Horrendous exhibitions of demonic barbarism. The same is taking place in Syria. Turkey is moving troops into Gaza. ISIS is causing terror and death in Syria and Iraq. Iran is regrouping and working on their next attack on Israel. Hezbollah is regrouping.

Peace? Are you kidding? How arrogant, how deluded American politicians and the American public are in thinking they have brought peace to the Middle East. They have brought a pause between heightened battles and war. That’s all. Like a 15-minute halftime.

The REAL insult comes from the tongues of American presidents, vice-presidents, members of their cabinets and staff, their special envoys, and members of the U.S. Congress, in thinking they can dictate to Israel, and Israel must jump. bow, and obey!

I voted for President Trump and Vice-President J.D. Vance, and do not regret doing so. They were the only real choice.

But their arrogance, their delusion, their ignorance is incredible. And disturbing. But not unexpected. It’s been this way in the relationship between America and Israel for decades, since Israel was REBORN as a nation.

It doesn’t help that Israeli Prime Ministers have always bowed to American presidents and American politicians.

But this is just a continuation of Biblical history, for we are all living in Biblical times. Israel has, for the majority of their time, turned from God and turned to the ways of other nations — against the instruction of God.

Amazing, isn’t it? So many involved here claim to be Chrisitans, or to read and know the Torah in the case of Israeli politicians, and yet nary a one speaks, writes, acts as if they understand what it means to be a true Christian, a Bible believing Jew, or what they understand in God’s word, which could not be clearer, or easier to comprehend, regarding Israel, the land, the people, and other naitons.

What has been, what is, and what is to come.

It is because of man’s continued and increasing sin, man’s arrogance, man’s ignorance of God, of Jesus, of the working of the Holy Spirit, and discernment and obedience to what is within God’s word that everything in the Holy Bible either has been, is, or will be fulfilled.

Maybe try reading it, and believing it, Mr. Vance, Mr. Trump, Mr. Rubio, Mr. Kushner, Mr. Witkoff, and any and every other in the administration, in Congress, in America.

Try that for a change. And, wow, watch real change occur if it happened.

But, relax. It won’t. They are in darkness and likely will remain so. Unless they humble themselves and bow to the LORD.

Talk about insults! How they insult God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the word of God! Oy vey, people…

Oh, and Israel is NOT the 51st state of the United States; they are a sovereign nation, CREATED BY GOD — stop dictating and acting towards Israel as if America owns the place.

Vance calls Knesset vote on West Bank an ‘insult’ to Trump administration

Vice President JD Vance expressed alarm on Thursday about the Israeli legislature’s vote that would claim sovereignty over swaths of the West Bank, calling the move an “insult” to the Trump administration because it could threaten peace in the region.

Before departing for the United States at the end of his two-day trip to the Jewish state, Vance denounced the Knesset’s vote as a “very stupid political stunt.”

“I personally take some insult to it,” he said at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. “The policy of the Trump administration is that the West Bank will not be annexed by Israel.”

“That will continue to be our policy, and if people want to take symbolic votes, they can do that, but we certainly weren’t happy about it,” the vice president added.

On Wednesday, the Knesset passed two preliminary bills that assert “the State of Israel will apply its laws and sovereignty to the settlement areas in Judea and Samaria, in order to establish the status of these areas as an inseparable part of the sovereign State of Israel.” The legislation was put up for a vote despite opposition from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It must still be approved in additional votes, but the bills may endanger the fragile nature of the Gaza peace deal that was struck earlier this month.

When asked about the state of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Vance said both sides are largely respecting the terms of the agreement.

“There are exceptions,” he told reporters. “There are little exceptions that break out here and there. That would be expected when these parties have been at war for two years. But so far, the ceasefire is actually holding, the peace is actually holding, and now we’re trying to figure out how to make it stick over the long term.”

Accusations of ceasefire violations have been lobbed at both sides amid reports of clashes in Gaza. Israel said at least two of its soldiers were killed in Rafah, while Hamas said the Israeli military was still targeting Palestinians in airstrikes.

The Trump administration, as a whole, has been opposed to Israeli annexation of the West Bank, a move that could stoke outrage from Israel’s Arab neighbors.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the Knesset’s vote on Wednesday.

“They passed a vote in the Knesset, but the president has made clear that’s not something we’d be supportive of right now,” he told reporters at Joint Base Andrews before departing for Israel Wednesday night. “We think there’s potential for [it to be even] threatening to the peace deal.”

Rubio is scheduled to arrive in Israel on Thursday as Vance returns home.
