What’s the point? Well, since you asked…

No one on earth really knows what’s going to happen in the next hour, let alone tomorrow, or a week, a year from now. If anyone is telling you that they do know, I strongly urge you to create distance between them and yourself, as much distance as possible.

Do not even begin to give credence to or become interested in any modern-day soothsayers, self-proclaimed prophets. They will only, always lead you down, never upwards, always off course, getting lost along the way.

No way to live, is it?

I’m a faithful born again believer in Jesus and every word in the Holy Bible. So, I believe, I know certain events are going to happen — such as the Ezekiel 38, 39 war, the Rapture of the church is coming. When only God knows. The same regarding the Ezekiel 38, 39 war, which may happen before, during, or after the Rapture. The prophecies of Daniel and Revelation are yet to come. Most Bible prophecy has been fulfilled. There is yet much to happen. And no one knows when. Don’t let anyone convince you they do know the time, the dates, the exact order of events. Those people are called liars. Deceivers. False teachers, false prophets.

Let me first clarify what isn’t the point here on A Crooked Path. Nothing found here is published with the intent to focus on news, to cause anxiety, fear, worry, concern, or make one troubled within their heart and mind. This is especially true for those who find themselves here while also knowing within their heart, spirit, and soul that they are born again. They are the LORD’S.

I do understand that those who may find themselves here who are not truly born anew of mind, spirit, heart, and having faith in and obedience to Jesus the Messiah, Yeshua Hamashiac, that some material found here could cause some stress. A bit of worry. Perhaps even downright fear. Scary stuff.

Why?

Really, why?

Let’s consider whether the latter should be the case.

If over the age of twelve, with all senses blessed with operational and a functioning mind, there has certainly been enough going on, if paying attention, to begin to grasp how the world works, or in truth, is dysfunctional and woefully in need of help. Unless all that has occurred is mere existence and an inordinate amount of time in mindlessness, playing video games, pursuing the constantly shallow and distracting.

If over the age of 20? 30? And possessing the same senses, or if one has an impaired sense, as others have been heightened? Being aware, paying attention? Oh, certainly more than enough has occurred to have a deeper understanding of how things work, or don’t work, and what the true nature of mankind is — if being objective and not a product of indoctrination, brainwashing. Being truly an independent thinker and observer.

Now, if over the age of 50? What’s the excuse? Really, what’s the excuse?

Other than sheer rebellion, loving lies, and refusing the truth. Because more has happened in 50 years to reveal what is what and why — if paying attention — to begin to figure out what it’s all about. So, stop wondering or asking what the meaning of life is. It’s known. Deep in the heart, in the soul, even if suppressed and refusing to listen to that voice within. By everyone. Every living thing knows.

So, if the point here is not to scare, tick off, make folks worry, fret, stew, and be troubled, what is the point?

Simple. To connect the dots. To put the puzzle pieces laid out and to help form the picture unfolding. To go from point to point, which in order to understand, truly, entails going verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book through all of God’s Word. From Genesis to Revelation. No skipping. No cherry-picking verses, reading half verses, and not then coming to a full understanding. Context.

Or, avoiding certain passages, events, persons, or parts of the Holy Bible. Some professing to be Christian either refuse to read the Old Testament or fail to read the Holy Bible regularly. How can there be growth then? Maturity? The love for God exhibited? The understanding of what is in the Bible? Because just going to church on Sunday mornings isn’t cutting it. Not by a long shot, my friend.

Which is, this world and everything it has been known by is rapidly coming to its end and is being prepared for what is to come, which is nothing the world has ever witnessed before, and never will again.

If finding oneself here, and whatever article, video, commentary, Scripture passage might be found, it’s all to be just thought of as an aid station online, to me. For anyone passing by. Stopping by. Visiting regularly.

Every point, every dot, every puzzle piece, every day is showing the way. If paying attention and having a soundness within the soul to allow real understanding in. Discernment. Being truly born again means being indwelt of the Living Individual of the Holy Spirit, Who is the only way discernment and understanding can be achieved.

This may sound haughty, arrogant, ignorant, uneducated, downright stupid to some, or many who find themselves here. So be it.

I realize I once was massively, oh so arrogant, ignorant, uneducated, and downright stupid for a very long time. While imagining, I was doing okay. Getting along just fine.

The point here at A Crooked Path has never been about being mired in politics, current events, the news cycles, and being chained here on earth, thinking this is all there is.  The point has always been what is laid out here are merely pathway markers leading revealing how there is truly a God, as is written about in the Holy Bible. It’s all real. All true. Every word. And every person on earth is living in the most amazing of historical times. The END TIMES are finally coming to AN END. After all these years, going along as they have.

Jesus is the Way. The ONLY Way. He is the Truth, the Word, the Light, providing the ONLY WAY to Life — eternal life.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:6

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

Contrary to what is presently being preached, spoken of, and written of by more and more so-called Christians. The heresy, the lie that all world religions lead to the One True God and eternal life, many now even declaring there is no hell, or that God’s judgment for those opposed to Him and His Son, Jesus, either isn’t real, or only lasts for a little bit. So much heresy, so many false teachers, so much unsound doctrine leading so many with itching ears astray today.

Don’t follow them either. Not if wanting clarity, understanding, to be pleasing and acceptable before the LORD, and in order to do that two things needs to occur in the individual’s life — the most important is to be in constant prayer and reading, study, meditation upon God’s whole Holy Bible, then live daily with eyes wide open, ears clear and able to hear to discern well, rightly. To be equipped and prepared for times such as this.

That’s the point.

Everything else is just filler. Pointing to the reality of Bible prophecy unfolding daily before us all. Again, no one knows what’s going to happen tomorrow. Best to keep the Word of God always nearby, within, held onto, wrapped in, soaked into the fiber of our souls and spirits, keeping a keen eye, a clean ear on the events of the day.

Need a sign?

Well, don’t wait for God to reach out of heaven and with His index finger skywrite something. Won’t likely happen. If waiting for something like that, or being distracted by supposedly crying statues, toast that looks like Jesus, or some lunatic spewing words that can gather a crowd — just wake up each morning, by the grace of God, and be ready, willing, and able to look around. Think. See. Hear. And know by going to the Holy Bible daily.

And pay attention to what is really happening, the best one can among all the noise.

Not to become a maniac. Obsessed. Abnormal. Not to grow worried or fearful. Like people in darkness of the world.

Nor to proclaim oneself as non-political, don’t get involved in politics. Rubbish! To remain silent, aloof, unaware, apathetic, idle, refusing to look, listen, be active, speak out, or vote IS as political as the idiot screaming and spitting ideological rhetoric from a stage, or one marching in the streets. Silence is appeasing and pleasing evil. Apathy is the same. It is not living for the LORD as so many contend.

Just the opposite.

That’s the point.

Become secure in the eternal hope of Jesus as personal Savior, Friend, Teacher, High Priest, and LORD of the individual believer’s life.

For what is to come, and what awaits one and all, consists of only two eternal possibilities.

The point is to live here and now to be in the one where God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the heavenly hosts are.

To be elsewhere only means you hate Jesus, hate God, hate the Holy Spirit, hate the inerrant, infallible, unchangeable, eternal living and active Word of God.

Get to the right point. Right now. While the Good Great Merciful Loving God blesses with breath, a beating heart, and this life, making it possible to see, to hear, to know the LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiac, to attain eternal life by faith in and obedience to Him and His Word.

THAT’S the point of it all.

“I read the news today, oh boy…”

So what? What’s the point of knowing such things if unable to understand the how, the why, the who, and the Who and what it’s REALLY all about?

Time, time, time today to no longer be misled, distracted, improperly impacted by the ways, words, and wiles of the world. Only let the so-called news inform on the way upwards to the heavenly places, nearer to Thy God to Thee…with such a Friend in Jesus.

Because FOX, CNN, MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, ABC, PBS, CBS, Newsmax, most podcasts of Babel, any of it, all of it is going to fade away forever.

But your soul, your spirit will not. You will know one eternity or the other.
