The greatest murderer in world history?

Stalin?

No.

Hitler?

No.

Ghengis Khan?

No.

The greatest murderer in world history is Adam. My, your, everyone’s ancestral human father. The one man of whom sin and death entered the world.

Do not blame God for misery, pain, suffering, disease, calamities, horrible things — DEATH.

Adam, aligning himself with Satan rather than God, brought death and every suffering, every problem there ever has been, is, or will be into the world.

Finally, come to terms and be objective about the family from which you come. Amazing how difficult it seems to be for the overwhelming majority of people to be objective regarding their family, people they know, themselves. Easy to criticize strangers, those in the news, hearsay regarding someone not related, and easy to assign guilt, blame to someone outside the family, isn’t it?

About 35 years ago, I attended a culinary arts school in Vermont. It was a small school, a very good one, but small, and COVID-19 put an end to its existence, but when I attended all those years ago, in the off time — it was a working school, hardcore, intense, very demanding — in our off time we who were captive there would break off into our preferred groups of friends made while there. This was long before I was born from above, renewed of mind, heart, and spirit by the Spirit of God.

We had a very close, tight little group of about 8 that, whenever we had off time, we’d get together. Partake of unhealthy habits [the culinary, restaurant, food world has one of the highest incidences of substance abuse of any profession, trade, career, or jobs]. And we would engage in great discussions. A lot of talking went on.

Distinctly, as if it took place last week, I remember being together, and in one of our lengthy philosophical moments, I put forward the question: “If your father committed murder, cold-blooded murder, not self-defense — murder — would you report him to the police?”

Out of the seven or eight sitting around that evening, going from one person to the next, there was only one person who said that if their father committed murder, they would turn him in to the police.

I was that one person. Not because I’m anything special, or better. I have always been able to be objective. A keen sense of justice. No matter who, no matter what. Hardest on myself in this area. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it’s how God knitted me together. To my detriment, at times, with the views and priorities I have, as the LORD put me together. But I stand firm in those views and priorities that align with God and His word in opposition to the world and its majority opinions.

I then followed up my initial question with: “If your father, or someone in your family were murdered by a person you did not know what would you want or expect to happen?

“I’d want him fried!”

“Hang the _______!”

“I’d kill him myself, if I knew who he was!”

Ahhh, selective morality. Individual morality. No real value system. Make it up as you go along. Forget objectivity, justice, truth, what is right, what is wrong. It’s all relative today, isn’t it? Anything goes. As long as it goes how I say, eh?

There are no ethics. There is not one, no, not one who is just and righteous, so says the LORD.

Exactly.

Morality, no matter who, no matter the circumstances, does and can exist in the pagan, the unbeliever, the rebellious, at enmity with God. I was one example. A very small minority, which I am convinced represents the overall population. Bear in mind this occurred about 35 years ago, and witness, be objective, about the further erosion and decline within society in that time span.

Blame God? Why? Misplaced focus and judgment.

God did not bring death into the world. Our primary earthly father did. What’s that? You don’t believe the words of God in Genesis? Really? Well, that just goes to the point. From one man’s sin, delusion, self-focus, rebellion, and utter disobedience to God and His words came into the world via Adam. And what was in him is in all of us. Was in everyone who ever lived. It is in everyone alive. Will be in all those yet to be born.

Stop blaming God.

Fess up to the real source of EVERY problem, every illness, every war, famine, plague, horror, pain, WEED, fits of anger, traffic jam, jealousy, lie — DEATH there ever has been and ever will be — UNTIL the LORD Jesus Christ returns a Second and Final time as the nations of the world gather in their vain attempt to once and for all remove Israel, Jerusalem, and Jews from the face of the earth [see Revelation 19].

The greatest murderer in world history isn’t even Satan. No, it’s our first father, Adam. For Adam had free will. He had the freedom to choose. He made the wrong choice. He chose to listen to and obey the father of lies, Satan, who ushered in DEATH and every morsel of suffering and pain from that point on. And once he did what did he do? He instantly blamed Eve when God asked him what he had done!

Christ’s Sacrifice for the Ungodly

(Genesis 22:1-10John 3:16-21)

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Death in Adam, Life in Christ

(Genesis 3:1-7Genesis 7:1-52 Peter 3:1-9)

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:6-21

Let’s all begin, if we have not, if we do not, repent and learn to affix blame where it ought to be placed. Do not blame God for anything unrighteous, unholy, or sinful. Don’t blame God for the wars that occur, the diseases in the world, or the disparity among people. It is us. We did it. All. From the beginning. To the end, which is coming sooner rather than later.

What to do? Well, if one who has professed to be a Christ follower, a disciple of the LORD Jesus Christ, how about making it finally time to demonstrate and live as such? As truly a light unto this dark, fallen, sin-filled world, our father, Adam, brought about by his rebellion and disobedience, his loving the lie more than the truth. The FIRST person to abandon objectivity, reason, the truth, and fall for the lie. As the overwhelming majority do.

Repent. Pray. Turn to God and His Word, His Son, as never before in life. For He in His suffering and death, which each of us made required for life, was brought about.

If refusing to believe what God has said to us in His Word? Today is the day to stop running from God, from the truth, and from all that has transpired within you over the passage of time and stop. Pause. Turn around. Stop running deeper into darkness and turn to see the Light, the Way, the Truth, leading to Life having conquered death — the LORD Jesus Christ.

Ask God to forgive you. He WILL listen, He WILL hear. He WILL forgive if within the heart is true repentance and converting in ways, desiring peace, desiring eternal life, desiring the truth, and the true way to love life on this earth, life that has been given by God, life that results in death, all due to the greatest murderer to ever live in world history, my fist father, your first father, everyone’s first father — Adam.

The first Adam. The greatest murderer to ever live.

Jesus, Yeshua, is the SECOND Adam. THE SAVIOR. The way to salvation, for His name means SALVATION. Jesus, the only One to conquer death and make the way to eternal life.
