I was eighteen years old in 1971, in Mr. McLellon’s social studies class. I still remember one of the many written assignments he gave to us. We were instructed to write an essay on what we thought the future of America would look like.

My wife knows this story. So does the best friend I grew up with who also happens to be a cousin.

I wrote how in the future America would resemble the Soviet Union and the degree of communism in the Soviet Union would erode and that nation would become more like us, while we became more like them.

I received a D on that paper, with Mr. McLellon admonishing me it would never happen and his was a social studies class not the creative writing class in the English Department. I attended a very progressive high school. Not by the definition that word is now associated with. No, progressive in that every six weeks in the English Department we had a different English teacher and an entirely new English subject. It was a very large English Department for a high school with three grades and a total student body of around 1,000.

But there was only one social studies class and one social studies teacher. Mr. McLellon, and he thought I was nuts. It’ll never happen, his words, words uttered by so many people in many places over the course of history.

I’m no prophet. The idea just came to me. And I wrote of it. I saw the upheaval taking place. I was in the eye of the revolutions that were taking place in America in the 1960s with the assassination of President Kennedy, and I remember vividly that day and where I was sitting in elementary school at this time. I remember the principal coming into our classroom, I was in the 5th grade in 1963, and we were somberly sadly told that the president had been shot in Dallas, Texas.

And all classes were suspended and the entire student body of that elementary school went into the gymnasium and we all watched the black and white TVs that the audio-visual people at school set up and turned on for us to watch.

From that day in Dallas in ’63 to the Beatles, the British Invasion, the university and college riots and sit-ins, the burning of draft cards, Vietnam, the burning of bras, more assassinations, the Cuban missile crisis, that occurred when John Kennedy was still alive, to Woodstock, the sexual revolution in full swing, the drug culture growing and on and on and on it went.

It was given the moniker the Age of Aquarius but it was a visible, audible transformation in America. A revolution on many fronts.

I was not some wise sage, or as mentioned, a prophet. At the time I was totally unaware of highly skilled and well-trained Soviet KGB agents influencing college campuses and posing as Americans. Stirring up racial and civil unrest.

I grew up in a strict — I am sure you cannot imagine how strict — legalistic Christian home. With a lot of Old World influence in the church my parents belonged to.

I was not a good student. I did well in the few classes I liked with the teachers I liked and did poorly in the classes I did not want to be in with teachers I did not like. I was in various offices more than a few times listening to the adult across from me telling me they knew I could do much better if only I applied myself.

I studied subjects I was interested in. On my own. I didn’t do most homework assignments. I did the ones in those classes mentioned above with the teachers I liked — but in the others? I either didn’t do the work or I put in a very poor effort.

I don’t know why the thoughts regarding America’s future and the Soviet Union’s came into my mind and was so vivid. But it did. And I wrote about it. And I received a D.

So it goes.

And here we are.

I’m now a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ after going out into the world no different than the prodigal son in Luke 15. Only I didn’t have my father’s money to blow on fast living. I spent the money I earned myself on the fast living and doing whatever I desired. Not having God or Christ in my mind, in my heart.

But I had heard the foundations when I was a child and a young person.

And it is exactly as the Bible says. Raise a child in the foundations of God and His Word and those foundations will remain in that child. Whether they submit, believe, repent and turn to have Jesus as Lord of their life is another story.

I am thankful to the Lord daily for His patience, mercy, love, and forgiveness. For the sacrifice He made on the tree of shame for my sin.

I was directed to begin this place. Do what I do.

And here we are.

Daily events occur that are hurtling our nation and the world towards the fulfillment of every word within the Word of God.

Fascism is rising. Evil is bold, arrogant, brazen, and operating in plain sight. Openly.

The Church has allowed ungodly wicked men and women to creep in and work for the Enemy from within.

The foundations are being eroded and attacked daily.

Yet the faithful remnant remains and will prevail to the end. The Church will not disappear. Nor the Word of God be removed. Even though, even if, even when absolute fascism and tyranny takes over in America, a nation that once was the greatest nation ever conceived and created on this earth. By Divine Providence and the work of God in select men and women.

And we tossed that aside. Abandoned that which formed us, kept us, blessed us beyond measure more than any other nation on earth.

To bow to and serve the Adversary and his minions and ministers. Keen to do so.

A strongly deluded people in total darkness foolishly believing they are enlightened and the future will only get brighter.

How can this happen without God at the center of those lives?

How my friends, how?

I’m no prophet. Just a man, now an old man, that has seen a lot, heard a lot, lived a lot, observed continually and constantly, and have a knack given to me by God as He knitted me together not to be a prophet, but to be able to put pieces together to paint a picture. To be a kind of weaver. To take threads that are spun every day without end and somehow weave them into a fabric that can be viewed as a garment. That’s all.

And America has taken on the ways and attitudes of the Soviet Union of the 1960s.

I was wrong about Russia. See, no prophet, for a true prophet is NEVER wrong. But I was wrong about Russia. They may have given the appearance of removing the Iron Curtain, from being the Big Red Scare, but all the residue and remnants remain. Including their despot dictator of a leader, Putin, who was the head of the KGB for many years.

I’m going to write something here 52 years after writing the paper I got a D on.

America will become more fascist, more difficult to live in — for true Christians, for people of sound doctrine, for people with morals, and principles, that know the history and how things were, ought to be.

For all the world is reeling. The people have been given over to their reprobate, wicked, and unrighteous minds, and swiftly, daily, continually all things are going to become more difficult, Worse. A lot worse.

I am not a bleak, cynical depressed, or dark person. On the contrary. But I cannot, will not sit here and lie to anyone. I’m not going to take on the moronic, robotic, thoughtless rhetoric of the masses already indoctrinated by paganism  — the New Age Movement and it’s refusing to live in reality, to be objective, to believe the Word of God and live, speak, write, act accordingly.

All this “be positive all the time” — according to the worldview, according to the world’s beliefs is rubbish. utter rubbish. And any real, rational, objective, well-rounded, and sound-of-mind person knows that to be true. That is a by-product of the revived paganism, the New Age doctrines that permeate everything at this time.

When the Antichrist and his false prophet appear and rise to power and world dominance every despot, dictator, fascist, communist, tyrannical leader and regime of all of world history will pale in comparison.

If we knew now, exactly, fully what is swiftly coming? It would drive the unbelieving mad. It would also make many professing to be Christian to waver, perhaps even yield, perhaps even fall. But then, we must ask, were those then truly transformed, and regenerated within? Born anew really?

Oh, what is coming…

Prepare. Equip. Make ready. Not in a bunker. In emergency food rations with a 25-year shelf life.

No, prepare and equip yourself, and those you love and care for in the Word of God. The whole Word.

Put it on. Keep it on. Wear it as your defense as well as your offense. Your everything to get you through what is now, and what will be.

Not according to me. I’m just a D student, in some ways, according to some folks. But according to the Word of God my friends, according to the inerrant infallible Word of God!

if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Our Fundamentally Transformed Country

Imagine that you live in a country where the government censored the news. Imagine that national security and intelligence agencies, working with their preferred political allies, spread false stories about an opposition candidate to portray him as a traitor and an enemy of the state.

Imagine that you lived in a country where certain political opinions were censored, and even the truth was censored to manipulate an election.

Imagine that you lived in a country where religious activists were prosecuted by the government, and where churches were investigated by the government.

Imagine that you lived in a country where expressing certain commonsense views got you labeled as a “domestic terrorist.”

Imagine that you lived in a country where the leader believed he could do whatever he wanted – just by the stroke of his pen – without any legal authorization.

Imagine that you lived in a country where state security agencies protected corrupt leaders.

What I have just described may sound like the old Soviet Union, communist China, or Marxist Venezuela, and that would be an accurate description of those countries.

But I’m not referring to those totalitarian regimes, and we don’t have to imagine anything.

What I described above is the country we live in today – Joe Biden’s neo-Marxist, “fundamentally transformed” America. Let’s run through the examples.

We know from the Durham report that elements of the FBI worked with the Hillary Clinton campaign to spread false rumors about Donald Trump, rumors that portrayed Trump as a traitor to America and a puppet of Russia.

The FBI ran wild with this conspiracy theory and used it to spy on Trump’s campaign and to undermine his administration. But that’s not all.

In the 2020 campaign, Deep State intelligence operatives worked with the Biden campaign to concoct another lie, only this time they were hiding the truth.

We know the FBI took possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop in late 2019. That laptop detailed the Biden family’s corrupt foreign influence-peddling schemes and could have destroyed Biden’s presidential ambitions.

So, the FBI began grooming social media companies to censor anything that looked like so-called “hack and dump” operations.

When the New York Post broke the news about Hunter’s “laptop from Hell,” Big Tech was sufficiently conditioned that it censored the news, even though the FBI knew it was true.

But to really cinch the deal, Biden campaign operatives worked with former Deep State operatives to smear the New York Post and to condemn a true story as “Russian disinformation.”

Just think about that. First, the FBI lied to us about Russian collusion. It allowed a false story to spread to damage Donald Trump. Then, it censored the truth and lied again by telling us the truth was a lie in order to help Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump.

Once Biden assumed power, he unleashed the FBI to investigate concerned parents at school board meetings as “domestic terrorists.”

He’s prosecuting pro-life activists, in spite of the record violence against churches and pro-life organizations.

Biden’s state security apparatus spied on conservative churches and the American people.

Biden’s FBI refused to turn over to Congress an unclassified document from a confidential source who provided extensive details linking the Biden family to a bribery scheme involving the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. The FBI had that information in 2020, but somehow those details never leaked to the media.

Emboldened by the subservience of our security agencies and the media, Biden apparently feels free to ignore Congress and the laws of our country.

His open border policies, undermining our national security, are a prime example. He’s also using the defense budget to subsidize abortions, in violation of the Hyde Amendment.

And even though then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Biden had no authority to do so, he attempted to spend $500 billion on a student loan scheme, without Congress ever appropriating such funds.

Thankfully, the Supreme Court rejected Biden’s unprecedented power grab. Otherwise, we would be on the verge of a dictatorship, where our elected representatives are utterly meaningless and the president could do whatever he wanted.

Rampant censorship. Repression of the truth. Selective prosecutions. Investigating churches. Election interference undermining our democratic process.

Freedom in America is under siege like never before. This once exceptional nation known as the “Land of Free” is now, under the tyranny of the intolerant Left, dangerously indistinguishable from other despotic regimes.

America desperately needs a revival of faith. And, as Abraham Lincoln so eloquently put it, we desperately need a new birth of freedom!
