NFL MVP Lamar Jackson shares Charlie Kirk message, faces relentless liberal attacks

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’

The Coming Rejection

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.”

John 15:18-27

Here’s the thing, please, please, finally — get the language right. It isn’t relentless liberal attacks, it’s relentless spiritual attacks — by the ministers and minions serving Satan. Why can’t people speak or write with more accuracy? Why is everything reduced to and laid at the conservative or liberal political altar when it’s all about, only about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Satan, and those who serve either the LORD or the devil?

THAT’S what it’s all about.

Only those two kinds of people on earth.

Can we begin to break the chains of ignorance and conforming to the world if we’re born anew in Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit and cease categorizing things as liberal, conservative, political, American, and finally speak and write accurately? Unafraid? Boldly?

I don’t watch or follow NFL games, MLB games, or NBA games. Never NBA games. I knew a man a long time ago in my Southern California days, an old guy I worked with who graduated from the University of Indiana in the 1950s, and he played basketball for Indiana. I told him once that, at the place we worked, we had a lot of time to talk about all sorts of things. I said, “Basketball could be reduced to two minutes, which takes thirty minutes to play, and almost every game is decided in the last two minutes.”

He agreed.

And if you want to waste at least three precious hours of life, watch one of the most boring sports on the planet — NFL football.

And baseball now?

What Lamar Jackson has posted and sticks boldly to almost makes me want to become a Baltimore Ravens fan, and I’m from Cleveland, Ohio, and if you know any sports history, you then know what it would take for a Cleveland sports fan to be a Ravens fan.

I’m no longer interested in anything regarding the NFL or MLB, and baseball once was a big deal to me.

Don’t watch. Don’t care any longer. For many reasons.

And you know what? Life is better without spending so much precious time invested in such things.

I don’t want to be hypocritical, as I do watch and follow, not fanatically, but I do watch and follow Premier League Football [the top soccer league in England], as well as following Formula 1, Indy Car, and IMSA sports car auto racing.

And Lamar is right.

Charlie Kirk is right.

It’s ALL ABOUT Jesus.

And the world HATES Jesus and thusly, will hate us who are His followers, His disciples.

Imagine how tormented those in hell will be — forever without sports?

Regretting for eternity the fact that they should have believed, repented, and followed Jesus.

Oh my…tragic, truly eternally tragic.

NFL quarterback Lamar Jackson seemed to cut out all the noise after sharing a message from conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

Jackson — a two-time NFL MVP, four-time Pro Bowl player, and leader of the Baltimore Ravens — had heaps of criticism piled onto him after going on a sharing spree on his X page.

“It’s all about Jesus.”

Jackson shared a plethora of images and videos about baptismstrusting in God, and even Bible verses and prayers, but it was not until he shared a message from Kirk that the haters came out of the woodwork.

“It’s all about Jesus.”

Those were the simple words from Kirk that Jackson shared to his page that encouraged many fans to post messages ranging from simple heartbreak all the way to referring to Kirk as the “spawn of Satan himself.”

While many X users thought they were giving Jackson the benefit of the doubt in thinking he did not even know who Kirk was, the anger toward Jackson escalated and got far worse.

One sports fan shared a screenshot of Jackson’s post and said he hoped the quarterback “continues to choke in the playoffs.”

Despite a lot of pushback from other fans, an account named Zion said that Jackson had put a “stain” on his “legacy” by sharing Kirk’s Christian message.

Not to be outdone, another X commenter shared a story about Jackson echoing Kirk and said, “I don’t think Lamar Jackson know Charlie kirk hate n*****s.”

Jackson ignored the heat, though, and continued pushing biblical messages like, “Give your worries to the Lord, and he will care for you. He will never let those who are good be defeated.”

This went on for hours, culminating in another Bible verse as Jackson’s final share for the weekend — Acts 4:12, which reads: “Jesus Christ is the only One that can bring you salvation.”

This is not the only time Jackson has put himself in hot water for comments on X. In 2020, he wrote a message about trusting the president when President Donald Trump shared a video of Jackson’s friend reacting to his selection in the NFL Draft.

“Really nice to see this and, what a great pick!” Trump wrote.

“Truzz Trump,” Jackson replied, meaning trust.

The simple message caused mixed reactions, which were also largely ignored by Jackson.

The 28-year-old has not made any other public comments (or X posts) since his Sunday sharing spree, but Kirk did share an image about Jackson receiving heavy criticism and offered a simple message in response.

“Jesus is the way, truth, and life,” Kirk said.
