'Massive betrayal': Mike Johnson reportedly looking to let ban on Planned Parenthood funds expire

A person is either all in, a true born again follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, not offering only lip service, or bearing fruit when it is easy, when it provides personal glory.

Those professing with their tongues to be on the side of Jesus, soldiers for the Lord in the spiritual war every person is enjoined in, cannot, for political expediency, abandon the core faith, the foundational beliefs that true Christian faith and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ require.

We’re either all in, or we’re not. We can’t only appear to be a child of God when it works out for us, is easier, makes us sound or look good.

That’s not real. That’s deceptive.

I really like Speaker Johnson. I’ve watched him being interviewed, asked questions frequently, and have always gone away impressed that he sounded like a true man of God. Committed first and foremost to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the tenets of the whole Holy Bible. Having his priorities in order.

Well, we ought to know by now, shouldn’t we, that we can’t place our hope, our faith, our trust in any man or woman on this earth. Oh, it would be sonderful if we could, and our nature drives us to desire such a thing, but without fail…they all fail, and we learn our faith, our trust, our hope in them ought to have gone to God in that portion, and our lives, our nation, would reap greater blessings.

So it goes.

So it is.

Political dealmaking, sacrificing human children on the altar of Baal, Molech, political expediency, in order to make a horrible compromise, is no victory. Nothing to be proud of.

If we want this nation, America, to be restored? Revived? Uplifed? Blessed? Then we cannot continue in our sin, lacking repentance, lacking conviction, and follow through. We cannot yield to, accept, accommodate, or approve of any evil, any increase of the choking darkness covering our land.

It’s a 2 Chronicles 7:14 time.

It’s a Romans 1 time.

It’s a return to the whole Bible in prayer and repentance time, America.

For the time is short. And there are many lost souls to get the message of the whole gospel to, for opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in them and for the coming of faith in and obedience to the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach, to save them.

We are only instruments to be of useful service to our Lord.

Obedient to Him and His word and ways above all things. All things. Each of us. No exceptions. No excuses.

There are only God’s true people, and then everyone else on this earth. In America. Everywhere. Not with a “D” or an “R” after their names. Each individual is either with God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a faithful, obedient servant of the Lord’s — or else they are not, and they then are serving the world above anything else.

Just the way it is. Not according to me. According to God. Take it up with Him if you don’t like this, or agree and see where that leads.

Woe to U.S. if we have so-called good men and women, so-called Christian men and women, bowing to sin and evil and accommodating such. Woe to us all.

Pray for Speaker Johnon. Pray for EVERYONE in our Congress. Pray for EVERYONE in the White House. Pray for your neighbors, co-workers, spouses, children, pray for our nation to turn from its sin and evil and to repent and turn to the Lord our God!

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana is going to allow federal funding to flow once again to Planned Parenthood after a one-year ban, according to the Washington Examiner.

Pro-life groups are trying to keep the ban on Medicaid funds to the abortion provider when it expires on July 4.

Johnson passed a two-year ban on funds through the House last year, but it was reduced in reconciliation to one year in order to pass the Senate.

Now it appears that the reconciliation process will kill the ban altogether.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) responded on social media by calling on Johnson and other Republicans to reconsider the decision.

“I strongly supported defunding Planned Parenthood in the Working Families Tax Cuts Act and have championed provisions to ensure federal tax dollars aren’t funding abortions throughout my career,” he wrote. “Defending the right to life is fundamental and something all Republicans should fight for.”

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri also registered his disappointment.

“This would be a massive betrayal,” he wrote on social media. “Under no circumstance can Planned Parenthood be allowed to get taxpayer money for their abortions and gender transition insanity. Period.”

A Planned Parenthood report said it provided 434,450 abortions last year, the highest number recorded for the organization.

The Live Action pro-life organization said that worked out to about one child aborted every 73 seconds in the U.S.
