VIDEOS
I do not want to mislead, ever. There are two videos here. I created the main heading on the Home Page due to both of these rock-solid sound in Scripture, sticking to Biblical truth, women in the faith of the LORD Jesus Christ, addressing subject matter so timely, so necessary in a time such as this.
Similar topic. Everyone viewing both will be greatly blessed.
These women are led by the Holy Spirit. So sound in their doctrine. Going to the Word. So firm and bold in the faith. As all Christians ought to be. Sadly, in these times, many are not, as evidenced by the making of these videos by these godly women. While it may appear on the surface these videos are only about the Gaines’ and their using Jesus to build an empire, to win approval of the world, their clear falling away and appeasing the world rather than obeying God and His Word, these videos go much deeper and provide daily application for all people professing faith in Jesus, professing to love and obey God above all else, forsaking the affirmation and love of the world to stand firmly within the whole Word of God.
I agree completely with one of the folks who commented on Alisa Childers video:
“As kindly as I can say this, Christians with a scintilla of discernment have never looked to the Gaines family as models of biblical Christianity.”
Test all things against God and His whole Word. Judge all things according to the whole Word of God. Discern wisely and rightly. Know how to discern. That only comes from time and prayer spent in God’s Word. As I’ve mentioned many times, be as a Berean;
“The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men.”
Acts 17:10-12
Discernment only comes from faith and in the hearing, the immersing within the Word of God. Obeying the Holy Spirit. Listening to the Word resonant within your heart and mind. Only through the Holy Bible. Which is the source of Truth. Notice the eagerness, the readiness of the Bereans to hear the Word of God. To check the words being told them against Scripture.
Do not become enamored of people. Do not get drawn in. Do not place faith in people. As the person commenting above, any truly born again Christ follower with even a modicum of discernment, knowing the basics of the Word of God, should have clearly known that the Gaines’ are not models of Biblical living, of Biblical belief, and following the LORD Jesus Christ rather than the world.
Be objective. Don’t shirk from judging all things against the Word of God. This means what people say and do. The fruit they bear. How obedient to God’s Word are they? Are they clearly making Jesus their number one priority, or are other things at work? This isn’t difficult. Not when listening to what men and women say, see what they do, where they place emphasis — then have a Holy Bible in your hands, turn your eyes, heart, mind, and spirit within it and learn if what you’re hearing, seeing is truly of God, or of the world.
How have we reached the point we are with all the apostasy, the unsound doctrines being preached and followed, all the ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing? Due to neglecting the Word and serving the world. Due to appeasing people, the deceptions of the world, and accommodating, accepting, and even approving of sin. Being disobedient to God and His Word.
Due to a lack of knowing and believing, and obeying Scripture. Due to loving the world more than loving God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit — which translates into using the LORD’S name in vain. Understand?
I hope and pray that everyone who finds themselves here will pause, take the time to watch and listen to both videos. These two faithful women pack more into their messages in these two videos than most pastors pack into a month of their Sunday sermons.
If only more pastors in America, in Western churches, were as sound and served up the truth of Scripture, and meat as these two godly women do…rather than appeasing, pleasing the audience, pulling out sermon #746 — humm, three main points, best if each one begins with the same letter of the alphabet, toss in an opening joke, end 20 minutes later with some illustration, hopefully not putting more than 50% of them asleep in the first 10 minutes, rinse, repeat, rinse repeat. Afraid of giving those in front of them what they need, rather than what they want.
Watch and listen on…
Chip and Joanna Gaines made headlines last week when their new show, “Back to the Frontier,” prominently featured a same-sex couple with children procured through IVF and surrogacy. The significant backlash from their largely Christian base has caused quite a stir. But this isn’t the first time the Gaineses have been tested in the public square. In today’s podcast, I go back to 2016 to when they were criticized for not featuring a same-sex couple on their hit show “Fixer Upper,” and how their response back then made the way for their compromise in 2025. Plus, I hit on three very important principles of discernment that are especially important when assessing the public confessions of faith from celebrities and influencers.

Today, we unpack the controversy surrounding Chip and Joanna Gaines’ new reality show, “Back to the Frontier,” which features a homosexual couple and their surrogacy-born sons, sparking backlash from the Gaineses’ Christian fan base. We dive into the details of the show and the Gaineses’ response to criticism, particularly Chip’s dismissive remarks. We also examine the broader implications of their partnership with HBO and Target and ask about their commitment to biblical values. Finally, we offer a scriptural perspective on love, truth, and the call to stand firm in faith, even when it’s costly.
