Otherwise, you, me, we’d be speaking either German or Japanese. Living under tyranny. Let’s think about that every day and be thankful every day. Not just certain ones. Thanking first and always, God Who made our current freedom at such a cost. Thanking every man and woman who served and either shed their blood and died, or were forever changed by the war.

All too often taken for granted. Not appreciated enough. Not understood.
