How Far The West Has Fallen: When Confronted With A Modern-Day Nazi Regime, Europe Declares It ‘Would Rather Not Get Involved’

To get an idea of just how far the West has fallen, compare the current U.S. military operation against Iran to the effort to defeat Nazi Germany during World War II.

Back then, a coalition of nations banded together to destroy Hitler’s war machine. Today, the free world is facing a modern-day Nazi death cult in the form of Iran’s regime. The Ayatollahs were driving for nuclear weapons and working on ballistic missiles that could reach Europe and the United States. The Iranian regime had spent 47 years sowing death and destruction in the Middle East and around the world, and now the threat became imminent: they were about to cross the nuclear threshold. You would think the entire free world would unite to eliminate this existential threat, just as it did during World War II—but 2026 is not 1941.

This time around, only nations have stepped up and answered the call to confront the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism: the United States and Israel. That’s it. The same two nations that have been carrying what’s left of Judeo-Christian Western civilization on their backs for decades.

That is why, over the weekend, President Trump called on other nations, particularly NATO members, to join the fight and help keep the vital Strait of Hormuz open. Iran has been trying to shut down this strategic waterway, through which aproximently 20% of the world’s energy flows each day. If the Strait is closed, oil and gas prices could skyrocket—every nation has a stake in it… or so you would think.

“I said, you mean for 40 years we’re protecting you, and you don’t want to get involved in something that is very minor? Very few shots are going to be taken, because they don’t have many shots left,” President Trump stated. “But they said, we would rather not get involved.”

“I just want the fake news media and everybody else to remember that that was said,” he stressed. “I’ve been a big critic of all of the protecting of countries, because I know that we’ll protect them, and if ever needed, if we ever needed help, they won’t be there for us. I’ve just known that for a long period of time, just like I knew about the Strait.. that it would be a weapon.”

He’s right. Since Operation Epic Fury was launched, Israel and the United States have destroyed Iran’s navy, air force, and air defenses. They have eliminated most of its senior leadership and severely crippled Iran’s ability to fire ballistic missiles and drones. The U.S. and Israel have done all the heavy lifting. It wouldn’t require a massive effort for Europe to get involved now and help patrol the Strait. And yet, Germany, Spain, and Italy have already said “no.” Canada, Australia, the U.K., and France also remain very much on the fence.

Keep it all in prayer, folks. Pray for the protection and wisdom of American and Israeli leadership. With the inaction of Europe, it is very clear that the Jewish State and the United States, under President Trump, are the last line of defense for Western civilization, and the only nations willing to take necessary and decisive action against the modern-day Nazis terrorizing the world.
